The staff were efficient and friendly, and everything came out fresh. Congdon's has a really nice variety of donuts, muffins, and other baked goods, and everything we tried was delicious. The blueberry fritter was the star crisp on the outside, soft inside, and packed with blueberry flavor. I would absolutely recommend it. They also offer a sit‑down breakfast with classic options like breakfast sandwiches and French toast, so it's a good spot whether you just want coffee and a box of donuts or a full morning meal. Overall, great service, excellent donuts, and definitely worth the short wait. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

We ordered a half dozen donuts to try: the maple glazed, chocolate glazed, strawberry frosted, chocolate creme filled, glazed, and a blueberry fritter. The orchard grows a ton of different apple varieties so there's good picking during the full apple season. We got to choose between Zestar and Jerseymac apples during our visit. I'm a big fan of crisp and tart so the Zestars fit the bill. Peach picking was a bit of the same only fewer varieties. Raspberry picking was a fun new experience. You're essentially hunting and the fruit that is ready to be picked will slide off their cone-like cores. Since it was early in the season most of the berries were small or immature and there were a ton of bees buzzing around. I mean a ton where you'd go to pick and they would be buzzing around your hand. Don't worry though! The bees are friendly and indifferent to your picking the fruit. Just be gentle. Pro tip: come on a day where there's a breeze. We went on a still day in August and it was hot! 90 minutes in the sun and we were feeling pretty crunchy.
