I needed a hot coffee early in the morning because I had been driving for a while. This place opened at 5 am and that was prefect for me. I stopped at 5:07 a.m. and went inside. There were four employees busily working and one customer in front of me. I waited as usual but then I kept waiting to even be acknowledged. So I decided that maybe I was doing it wrong and I went to the kiosk to place my order. Once I started my order at the kiosk an employee asked me from the main counter, "how can I help you?" I placed my order and it was a very sterile and cold process. My two doughnuts were quickly put in a bag and casually tossed on the counter. Then the employee walked away. So I waited for my coffee. Eventually the employee returned a few moments later and made my coffee but again casually placed it on the counter as if to imply, here is your coffee, now go away. I'm not asking to be treated special but to be treated as if I am not worth your time or I have offended you is unacceptable. 3 stars because the doughnuts were fresh and the coffee good but employee service is terrible. read more

This location used to be decent but it must have changed ownership or management recently because its gone way downhill. The staff is unfriendly and acts as if you are bothering them by ordering and I have had to ask for my order items multiple times to recieve my whole order because they wander around not doing much most of the time. Most people stop for coffee when short of time, the meandering behavior makes that not a good idea here. read more

How to assure you loose business. In spite of seeing an ample supply of the specific donut I wanted (stopped by to pick up my husband's favorite) it was impossible to buy. I get it wasn't a high profit drink, but apparently they don't need my donut business. They refuse to acknowledge you at the counter, the kiosk didn't have the item I wanted listed (again - many in the display case), and the app had the item listed but said it was unavailable. The only option was to sit in the drive thru behind six cars which I'm simply not doing for a donut. So I left. I can only conclude they don't need my business. I won't be back. read more

Went in and placed my order, which the cashier entered into the register (along side her helper), for two kids' scoops of ice cream and a single scoop cone with a 2 & 4 yr old on a Wednesday night, (12/20/23 at 7:30). The cashier did NOT complete MY order; but INSTEAD answered her headset, TOOK and FILLED a drive-thru order for the next 10 minutes!--(5+ drinks, donut hole box, ice cream half gallon, etc) All while my grandkids were ASKING for their ice cream!! When I told them it was very rude to make me wait, they said "that will be $12.10." The place is new, so I'm gonna give it a bit of a break for now. However, opening day service was extremely slow. I ordered a hot macchiato with caramel, an iced latte, and 2 donuts. The donuts where good. The iced latte was extremely sweet, way too much sugar. The man in the drive thru gave me an iced macchiato instead of hot, he corrected it on the spot. The macchiato was sweet at first but had an extremely bitter after taste. I decided to try again the morning of their second day being open, I got the hot latte with caramel this time hoping to avoid the bitterness of the macchiato, unfortunately they forgot to put in any caramel so I still ended up with bitter tasting milk. I'll try again in a few weeks, see if they've ironed out the kinks yet. read more

The people that work at this Dunkin' Donuts are miserable - there was a young girl that seemed like she would be customer focused, but she was not the one taking orders the two taking driving orders and counter orders were rude. They behaved as if they were annoyed to even take your order let alone actually give it to you. I went in early. It was not busy. I was the only one that walked in. Three employees on at 7 pm on 12/20/23, went inside the store with two small children, placed our order at the counter, before I was able to hand her my cash the employee started talking on her headset to a drive thru order. She then walked away and completed the drive thru order, which consisted of several specialty drinks and food items. The women kept looking at us and saying she would be back. 10 minutes later I asked to speak with the manager because we still have not payed for the order we placed and they ignored completing our order. The manager came out and we explained the situation about being pushed to the side when the drive thru customers came. The "manager" said "Oh well". The "manager" than called his supervisor to ask if we could get some price accommodation for the severely poor service. During all this I am standing with my two small children who are asking me "when will my ice cream be ready". "The manager" ended his call and stated "My supervisor said we will do no accommodation". The employees scooped the ice cream without washing their hands and held it behind the counter while they stared at me with their confused face of why I would be disappointed with the service. This used to be the best Dunkin around, but now they Nickle and dime you for a squirt of caramel. Coffee is inconsistent. Every ice drink comes with a FULL cup of ice. I used to ask for less ice. Now if I ask for less ice I get it 3/4 full. They won't fill it up! Got a "free" drink coupon and asked for caramel in my "free" ice coffee and they charged me for the caramel!!!??? Conveniently close by to our house, so on occasion, we'll make a stop for donuts, munchkins or breakfast sandwiches. The last two times we ordered sandwiches with "No Cheese" due to dairy allergies. Both times, the order was wrong. Okay, maybe it's kind of on me to check before I drive off, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do that. The thermal paper with Order #536 (5/21/20) clearly states "NoChz", alas there is cheese on my sandwich. This Dunkin' location is extremely inconsiderate and not customer focused. I realize that these are very trying times due to the COVID19 pandemic, however, employees' masks are not being worn correctly as it should cover both the person's mouth and nose. Most employees do not hardly wear their masks at all. Granted, the owners do and maybe 1 employee but that's it. Other than that, we have been scammed out of 2 free beverage vouchers due to the incompetence of their employees. Most customer oriented businesses would have replaced our lost vouchers since this was the employee's fault, but the owner just shrugged his shoulders. Overall, horrible location. Dunkin is so important to my lifestyle due to me being a single mom and needing my caffeine in the mornings especially! I started going to Dunkin' about 2 months ago and decided to use my V.I.P 1.45$ coffee card for being a Shrewsbury resident (which is awesome!) and it lasted a month I could use it everyday! So I got a large caramel iced coffee and I was NOT disappointed. I went back almost 3 times a week. The flavor was so powerful I could taste it before I even sipped it , the caramel just punched me in my taste buds and the cool ice topped it off with just the right amount of cream and sugar. Although I didn't go everyday , they knew when I ordered and they are always so friendly and had such great service. When the coupon ended I went back and ordered my coffee and before I even got to the window they knew it was me and gave me a "frequent" coupon/punch card because of how many times I've been there lol which made me feel great because not only was it a great deal but they pay attention and they know loyal customers and we are rewarded as such. They are always smiling , never an attitude even if something goes wrong. If there's a long wait they are apologizing and making it right. I am so very blessed to have such amazing staff and such yummy coffee so close by. I know if there was ever a problem I wouldn't be afraid to go forward to them because of how they present themselves as not only a team but so professionally. I have ordered from 4 other Dunkin' Donuts from York to Hanover and they all were horrible compared to the coffee I get at the Shrewsbury location. So I don't know what they do but I will never use another Dunkin' this location has stolen my heart ! read more
