This DD is under new management per the sign. Whenever I stop here, they are very efficient. I get my order quickly and it is always right. The staff is very nice. My food is always hot and fresh. I eat at DD all over the city multiple times a week, and this one, though not a modern location, is a good one. They don't have a drive thru and are packed often, but do a good job getting us in and out. read more

Delicious donuts and coffee while shopping! Conveniently located, the inside is open so you can see the selection, and service is fast and pleasant. What more could you want when a craving occurs? When shopping in Aurora, Solon or anywhere nearby, this Dunkin is a favorite for a quick break. Equally delicious are their breakfast sandwiches but remember to save room for the main event. We stop at this Dunkin' Donuts every Sunday after church to grab a donut. Sometimes they're busy, sometimes not. Sometimes the employees are attentive and personable, sometimes not (I ordered a sour cream donut today, husband asked for a lemon, and when the cashier turned to retrieve them, she had to ask me to remind her what I had requested). When I've had coffee, it's been fine (I am not a coffee snob by ANY standard). If you order a bagel, you may want to ask for it to be toasted twice; in the past, mine have been warm, but definitely not to the degree of being toasted. A DD is a DD is a DD, and wherever/whichever you walk into, the experience and product should be consistent. The Dunkin' does have a small side yard in which they've placed a table and chairs, and is nice for folks wanting to sit outside under the trees and beside the flowers. So, in most case a DD is a DD, right? But my gosh, something about this place just doesn't click. I stopped in recently to get a dozen donuts and a cup of coffee. The whole experience was frustrating. When I stated I was ordering a dozen donuts, the gal started putting my selections into a paper bag. I asked her to put them in a box. She didn't acknowledge my question, than asked what else I wanted. As I started to pick more donuts, she said, "why didn't you mention sooner you were getting this many?" So unless I'm missing something, is there a miscommunication that a dozen = 12? As I waited for my coffee, an entire youth baseball team came in after me. As I waited for my plain coffee, they served every teenager their mocha-java-iced-complicated whatever. I popped my head in and politely asked if my plain coffee was still coming. Another gal didn't respond to me with any words, but punched something on a screen than got me the coffee. So, I was waiting for something that was never coming. Overall, strange experience all around, and waited 30 minutes total for an order that should've taken 5 minutes. read more

Fabulous. We were on the highway, got off the ramp for Starbucks and saw this place first, and even though they were busy we were in and out in 10 mins with 2 signature lattes and food. This location is in dire need of an overhaul, not only because the layout and size isn't working well, but because the overall mood in this specific shop is dreary and slow. Ordering a coffee takes much longer than it should, and there is always a backup in the "order pickup" area. That said, they've never messed up an order and every so often we get a few extra Munchkins in our order. read more

I have been going here for a few years and am constantly amazed by their lack of courteousness and always running out of the products I wish to buy. Yet today they have hit a new low. Crap service, they don't know what they're doing (i.e. spending too much time screwing up orders then fixing them), and nothing but long lines, wrong orders, and frustrated customers. I've been here a few times and witnessed the freekin' chaos that happens in this store every time! Must be a language barrier or cultural clash but it just seems like this franchisee and his workers just aren't connecting with his customers on either a friendly or communicative level. At least that's what I see even way before I get to the head of the line. NO DRIVE-THRU - trust me, that's a GOOD thing because of the way they "handle" (read: muck up) orders - you'd end up polluting the environment with a whole gas tank burnt at idle during the long wait! Dunkin' Donuts is a fun fast food/donut chain, but this franchise is the worst run I've ever seen. So save the environment and eat donuts somewhere else. Worst Dunkin Donuts in the country! I am not one of these people who hide behind the Internet. I made my concerns to the manager who rather than helped me raised her voice to me. (Lady with the curly hair and tattoos ). I was overcharged on Thursday. When brought to her attention it was more of an embarrassment to me than even worth the $. After about 4 minutes, yes actually a full four minutes, I left. I love Dunkin and we were visiting from out of town. I have been going here for seriously 20 years. So I decided to go back Friday. On Friday, I ordered my wife a raspberry tea. We were given a white chocolate raspberry.... We just left. I'll drive the extra 3 miles for another location. If I could talk you into a drive through, you could talk me into another star. I only had a problem getting my receipt once for a work meeting, other than that I fly in and fly out and I'm on my way. The coffee is always good and fresh. I did get a couple breakfast sandwiches here once, bit into one, proceeded to turn the oven on, cook for 10 minutes, then I could actually eat it. I'd probably give this place one star, but the doughnuts I got yesterday were slightly better than usual. This place normally serves doughnuts that have been sitting out probably for days. They are hard and rocks. For those of you who read my reviews, I'm a doughnut fanatic! I bought a couple dozen doughnuts for work and I was terribly embarrassed. I paid for stale hockey pucks. Its all about moving customers through and out the door with a quality product and this store has major challenges as I can see from a personnel perspective. Constant change of new people that need to be trained and a fire drill in trying to fill orders. Under staffed and poorly managed. They have lost my business numerous times because they were to crowded. read more

The Solon Dunkin Donuts used to be the best ever! The young cashier ( who had more work ethic than all the current workers combined) would have my coffee waiting at the counter for me when she saw my car pull in. In and out in 5 seconds flat. Now, you better give yourself a half hour and don"t expect a correct order... if you even get your order. They take your order ( a coffee...one....coffee...) they shuffle you down to the "order pick up" area which becomes extremely congested thanks to the terrible remodel, where they keep you waiting and waiting and waiting, then forget you even ordered anything. Its not even like they see you waiting there over that high counter. The lady at the register told me she couldn't make my coffee and send me off on my merry way because she was "just the cashier"...just the cashier??? since when doesn't the Dunkin Donuts cashier get your coffee??? So she stood around and did NOTHING while I waited and waited and waited for my coffee. Anyways, This place is JUNK!!!! I love my DD in the morning but the hassle isn's worth the reward anymore. I don't really like Dunkin in general and try to stay away...however when I heard that they had this new "Donut Sandwich" coming out, my unhealthy side wanted to give it a try. We stopped in to get it and the girl behind the counter looked at me like I was completely lost and acted like she didn't know what sandwich I was talking about, my friend explained what it was and she said something that was not audible and then said "we have no eggs" ....Um, why not?? Aren't most of your sandwiches made with eggs?! She said they "got cleaned out" and continued to stare at us. They also had maybe 3 donuts left on the shelf for the "free donut with a beverage purchase"...such a joke, also being treated like you're ignorant doesn't help.
