I have stopped at this one before and, been hit or miss. Very strange place. It may be closed at 2:00 in the afternoon or, may be open and have great choices and friendly staff. This time, really weird. I stopped by here on a Thursday at 5:00 p.m. Pulled up to the drive through and was told they had no doughnuts. At all. I asked why and no answer. Finally the lady came back on and just asked if I wanted anything else besides doughnuts. I told her no and pulled off. Went next door to the Sphinx and got some decent doughnuts and coffee. #77/2022 Last time reviewed was just at the onslaught of covid when everything was closed no inside dining. I'm definitely upping this one a star It is much improved very cleaned up. Very cordial employees good attitudes. Very clean inside quite welcoming atmosphere Currently now open till 9:00 p.m. 7 days a week I'm not too sure what time they open in the morning. I came in and I had a taste a avocado toast and I have them for the extra with the roasted tomatoes. Prepared perfect nice and hot spread on Just Right the tomatoes were delicious and had a extra large cawfee to go Coffee done great no problems look forward to coming back through here and definitely stopping at this one more again when I'm coming down out of the Asheville area towards Greenville or vice versa. read more

Went up to drive through and waited for like 3 minutes, gave up and went inside. Ordered a medium caramel frozen coffee for like $5.70 or so, cashier was normal and my drink was good. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they had a problem going on inside or something because idk why they were moving so slow at the drivethru. read more

Worst Dunkin location. They aren't open the hours they advertise. I downloaded the app due to all the commercials they run about how great it is and all the benefits you get. I ordered a donut and paid through the app. Got to the store and was told they didn't have the donut I ordered. No big deal I said just give me a plain donut. They had only 4 types of donuts. All frosted. Sorry, I'm not 5 and don't want a frosted donut with sprinkles. And then they can't refund my money. I understand it's hard to find help but come on. You're a donut and coffee place. The worker was like a deer in headlights. He had no clue. After a couple weeks got the $2 refunded and app deleted. Not worth the hassle. read more

This is the worst customer service I have had I'm from anywhere in a long time. I pulled up to the drive through to place my order an hour before closing on a Sunday night. Just as I did, it started pouring rain. So I cracked my window to tell the girl to give me just a second. I ordered two medium mochas and a double chocolate doughnut. When she read my order back, she asked if I wanted cream and sugar in my coffee. I'm not sure if this was her first day or what but cream and sugar does not go in mocha. They don't even sound the same. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt with the rain but when I pulled around, I was met with a girl who opened the window and reached out for my card. No hello or how are you doing or anything. She gave me my card back and I said thank you...no response. She handed me the first mocha and I said thank you...no response. She handed me the second mocha and I said thank you a third time and again, no response. I don't know what was wrong with her but we are in the south and you should have better customer service than that. When someone says thank you, the correct response is you're welcome. There wasn't even a thank you for stopping in or have a nice night...nothing. As I drove off, I remembered why I don't waste money at Dunkin' doughnuts. I'm biased towards Dunkin' for their coffee options no food options. This particular location is by far my favorite. The employees appear to work well as a team quickly getting customers in and out wether by coming in for takeout or the drive thru. Employees are friendly and keep the store clean inside. read more

soooo when you do a mobile order and they hand you your food and they act like they are done and you say i ordered a half dozen donuts. and your reply is we don't sell cruellers anymore. sooo you just decide not to give me my order since it's not there yet i have paid for it? so I got 3 cruellers and three vanilla cream and you get my entire order wrong.Seriously the kids that work here are either clueless or lazy. this is the second time I've tried to order from here and it's usually wrong or tastes hmmm microwaved or not fresh. Me and my sister have gone to this dunkin many times. It has always been good. But recently the line has been absurdly long and just crazy. Today me, my sister, and friend went. We waited in line for about 30 minutes. People kept leaving the line. Once we got to the speaker to order everyone in front of us had left. We waited in at speaker for about 5/10 minutes and then decided to go to the window. Two workers were in there which obviously is understaffed BUT they looked at us and then just ignored us. NO ONE was working the drive thru. If you are short staffed and not working the drive thru LEAVE A SIGN. Say hey sorry we are not working the drive thru but to be completely ignored is ridiculous. I have worked in food service for a long time. And this is just not the way. I am so disappointed. read more

Over the Christmas break my kids were craving donuts and luckily we have a Dunkin' Donuts in Travelers Rest. I went by around 8:00am to get an assorted dozen and the line consisted of two people in front of me. Though the restaurant wasn't busy, it did seem to be a bit chaotic inside. The staff were helpful and courteous and I was able to get my assorted dozen relatively quickly. While nothing was particularly outstanding about the experience there wasn't anything wrong with it either. read more

I'm a college student and I go into this location often to get coffee and do my homework. Today I ordered and was doing my homework when two girls behind me (likely also college students) were given free food. The man told the girl he gave it to that she looked let down when her friend got food but she didn't. A few minutes later he came over to me and gave a me a free vanilla donut, having remembered I ordered a vanilla coffee. Overall, the staff is always sweet and helpful and I am glad to see familiar faces when I go in there. As Dunkin's go, I greatly appreciate this one. Keep up the good work! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would... I live near by so it is an easy stop on the way to work, but trust me when I tell you I am sooo ready for the Starbucks to open nearby. I've been 3 separate times over the course of the last two weeks, and all 3 times their steamer has been broken. I'm not sure how a coffee shop can stay in business without a steamer because they tell me the only hot drink they can give me is regular coffee. On other occasions, they have told me their sandwich machine is broken - not sure what that means either because all of their sandwiches taste frozen? I can not recommend Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. They microwave their hash browns, which is unfortunate as they could be amazing if they were cooked properly. Also, this particular restaurant tends to forget what is in the order. I had to ask for the first hash browns to be redone, got more nuked browns, they forgot my drink and my donut, and I had to ask for those. The donut was then the wrong kind. I'm very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. I don't think I'll be back. I'll go to another Dunkin that has better service, but for donuts only. If you want good seasoned potatoes, go to Wendy's. read more

Don't expect them to be open just because they are supposed to be. If you want a coffee and doughnut after the sun goes down best to call first. They are never open until 9. Getting something from them first thing in the morning is also a lesson in patience. You stand in line forever. They are understaffed so people stop going as often, so businesses is down, so they put fewer staff on which means service is slower.....self fulfilling prophecy. read more

Went through the drive thru this morning for a medium iced coffee with winter white chocolate flavoring and cream. The cashier asked me to repeat my order again louder.. I basically yelled back and she still said I wasn't loud enough.. Frustrating. Out of winter chocolate. Asked for buttery toffee nut, also out of that.. We were headed out of town so we grabbed coffees and breakfast. My daughter ordered a turkey, bacon and cheese sandwich. The menu did not indicate it came with anything else so she asked for mayo. It came with a foul smelling sauce and it had a huge amount on it . I took it back and the cashier said next time ask what's on it . That's fine but why was there sausage on it ? I have tried on MANY trips to our Travelers Rest DD, to forgive and forget...and try try again! Maybe it's my timing or my lousy luck in restaurants...but I just can't find pleasure in visiting this store anymore. They started out welcoming, pleasant and with good quality service. Not sure what's happened! I haven't been, in maybe 6 months. Once it was a weekly treat...they even knew how to make the perfect coffee drink for me (been so long, I don't even remember what that was)! Now-a-days, if ya don't get in there about THREE HOURS before they close, what they have to offer is a mostly empty doughnut rack and a couple choices of doughnuts! Never fails! Each and every time we went! So we stopped trying. It's not our go-to place any longer because we usually enjoyed our evening sweets. THREE hours before closing, really? I've worked in the food service industry and ya just didn't do that to customers. Last visit they haphazardly piled sticky doughnuts in a bag with no paper between them. That was fun :( Lastly, my hubby decided to stop by on his way home from work this morning (11:00 am)...I really wanted a maple glazed doughnut. So, I called to ask if they had any before asking hubby to drive out of his way....I tried several times. I waited a few minutes between calls just in case they were busy...didn't want to worry them with a ringing telephone lol. They never answered. I assumed they were busy. Thankfully, they DID have my favorite. Just sharing with my husband, I told him that I'd called in case I could save him a trip....he said they were not busy at all. As a matter of fact, the cashier that helped him was sitting in the lobby when he got there. Now, I do not have an issue, AT ALL with anyone taking a break to sit down! But I'd called and just assumed they were too busy to answer...that's something I do take issue with. Bottom line, I am certain they have lost a great amount of business from my family and myself...that's a bunch of tummies to fill lol. Honestly, even after getting my doughnut today, I'm not sure I will "risk" the disappointment in going back anytime soon. What I actually got when I pulled around to the window was a small HOT coffee and my doughnuts were plopped, icing side down, into a paper bag - on top of each other - with no wax paper. We stopped on our way out of town after visiting family in Greenville. The location is great (right next to a Spinx). My children enjoyed their glazed donuts, which we took to go. By far the worst Dunkin Donuts i have ever visited. So far they are 0/3 on producing a correct, and edible, breakfast. My first visit i ordered an everything bagel extra toasted, if you order a normal toasted bagel it comes out warm but not toasted. This bagel was burnt BLACK, it was swimming in butter that was now black from mixing with the burnt part of the bagel(which was all of it). Visit number two i waited behind one other customer in drive through and i ordered a bagel with egg and bacon. I made sure to check my order right after receiving it, in the bag was a muffin with egg and cheese. I went inside to get the right order and found out they switch my order with the customer in front of me. Now today... ill give them some slack because it was busy, about 5-6 cars in drive through, however they had about 5 people inside working. i ordered a number 16 (tuna salad on a croissant with hash browns and ordered an iced coffee with it). I pulled up to the window and was handed a large hot coffee. naturally i said that wasn't what i ordered, the cashier asked me what i ordered and i had to REORDER at the window. She told me to pull up and wait for someone to run it out to me when it was ready. A few minutes later a younger woman brought it out for me. Her boyfriend must have been visiting because she had a few quick kisses with him in the lobby before returning behind the counter .I opened the bag to see no hash browns, but worse was the sandwich, it was a mess of tuna and soggy croissant. It looked like it was made in 5 seconds, which im sure it was. part of the top piece of croissant was missing with tuna smeared all over it. Now i don't claim to be fancy but it was not worth the 5+ dollars i spent on it. I went inside to show them the sloppy mess they called a sandwich and explain i did not receive hash browns, i asked them to refund me i left. Keep im mind on not one single visit was i ever offered an apology or any sympathy, they seemed to not care at all, try to avoid me, or act as if they did nothing wrong. NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION!
