The barista was friendly and helpful. I ordered inside so I could use the restroom. I found that the restroom was very dirty. The lobby was fairly clean, drink was prepared in a timely manner. Super nice staff, super fast service. But the lobby was so so dirty and the filth under the barista cabinets kinda made me sick. Lots of cups, lots of green (matcha?) gross stuff under there, lids, so many things that looked like it was there more than a day. Ok, this is my local Starbucks and I usually go about 5 times a week. Is my order always right? No, but a couple of misses out of 300 isn't bad, and far better than McDonald's or Wendy's. Are the employees busy? Always, but they seem to have a moment to say something positive when I walk in. Since the pandemic, I've had to use the drive thru more, and I'm the one behind you when you take five minutes to order your "special" drink, and food, and get indignant when you pull up thirty seconds later and it's not ready. I have to wait too, even though I used my app. For every snarky reviewer, why don't you take a deep breath, order online, walk inside, and let these really nice people greet you properly. In a hurry I drove to my fav Starbucks in Cherrydale. Super long line in the drive thru. I sped past there and decided to come to THIS joint. No cars in the drive thru and maybe one customer in the building. It took a slightly long time for my americano???? When the chic brought the tall drink to the window she handed it to me NO SLEEVE!!! OUCH!!!! I promptly asked for a sleeve as she was turning away "we are out of sleeves" huh??????? Have you ever held an americano WITH a sleeve???? Hot as 40 hells!! She said "I can double cup it". Um... you should have done that anyway! Sadly I had just gotten off work and was in no mood to sit in the ER because that was a 3rd degree burn waiting to happen. It seems as though they've reorganized the seating arrangements, of which I'm not particularly fond. Just at a glance it seems like there are several big communal tables and fewer 2-seaters. That aside, my caramel macchiato was beautifully crafted and the sample of vanilla scone I tried was just the right amount of sweet, albeit a little crumbly. The whole point of using the drive thru is so that I don't have to get out of the car with 2 small children (which is what makes the caffeine necessary). After waiting 8 minutes in the drive thru for my drink only to pull away and realize the order was wrong....... Makes me wanna hop the fence to liquid highway next door. I know I have this location 5 stars several years ago, but I have to down grade it now. Most of the staff has been replaced and now the Store Manager (Titus) is gone. AND IT SHOWS! Lackluster customer service. Incorrect order fulfillment. Leaks at the counter area where you pick up your order. Dirty bathroom. This location has seriously taken a terrible turn. Not sure I will be visiting a Starbucks in Greenville for a while. This one the only location that got it correct every time. Very sad to see the customer service fall off the cliff. I'm a huge Starbucks fan and usually have at least one cup of coffee from Starbucks each day. However, the usual Starbucks I patronize has been performing abysmally subpar, to the point that I've waited in line for coffee for 30+ minutes over 3 times- without any of the workers offering an apology for my wait. I'll continue to patronize Starbucks because I believe for the convenience and, typically, good service, Starbucks is the way to go for coffee. I'm also a strong supporter of small businesses. Greenville has several locally owned coffee shops. Perhaps I'll frequent these rather than suffering the wait at my usual spot. read more

The coffee tasted on point, and the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich was simply marvelous! Great place for college students to study! Terrible service. I usually order my drink via the app and pick it up. Many times it's not ready after 10+ minutes of waiting and when it's wrong (more often than not) and I ask them to make it correctly, they get upset and make me feel bad for asking for the drink I paid for. This was my first visit to this location since it's always super crowded. I guess the key is going late in the evening. The service was fast. We had 3 drinks in our order so I was impressed! Waited 10 minutes for my dry cappuccino only to get a drink as wet as a latte. Obviously, the norm for Starbucks baristas is to make their cappuccinos as wet as a latte - really, do you not know the difference, let alone feel it when you hand me the cup? This is my usual spot and I like the crew. They have lots of changes in the last few months but the new people seem nice.

It meets the standard expectations one has of a typical Starbucks store. It's not overly fancy, not too pricey, fairly fast at service, and fair portions of food. The only negative thing I can say about this joint is that I wish the food menu was clearer/more food items were listed, maybe I didn't see it, but then again I only saw 4-6 actual food items (outside if pastries). On the plus side, there is plenty of outside seating when it's nice out. All in all, if you need a quick bite or an outside sip and chill place, this is a good one. read more

So I went in there this morning to order a drink. I never usually go to Starbucks as it's expensive. But it being my birthday I wanted to treat myself. I ordered a grande caramel frapuccino with three shots of espresso. She poured my shots into my cup and put into the blender with everything else. I get that part to mix it well. Well she then proceeds to fill my cup up and throws away the rest. Which was probably at least another grande maybe more. So I got maybe one out of the three shots I originally paid for. Then still proceeds to put whip cream on it. Not I'm impressed with the service, as I am a chef in the industry. read more

I ordered a drink but was told they were out of a certain syrup needed to make it. So I ordered another latte. Paid with cash. Put change in the tip jar and sat down and waited. 20 minutes went by, still no coffee. They lost my order and the barista who took my order acted like she had no recollection of the order. I was questioned about how I paid for the coffee and told "I can't find it in the system." My response was that I wasn't making it up. I had clearly been sitting and reading waiting for my coffee. They made me a latte on the fly but it was with regular milk, so I asked for almond milk and the barista was clearly irritated "you didn't say almond milk." I guess you need to make sure you order twice at this place. Absolutely ridiculous. Never again. read more

I love Starbucks, they get 5 stars. However this location receives only one. I always get my ice coffee the same way, except at this location. When I sipped it and said it tasted off, they asked me if I had ever had it before. Yes actually I had, about 200 this year alone!
