This is what they call a large cappuccino with an extra shot. Shameful.
    Wyl M.

This location lives up to it's 1 star previous reviews. There was a line out the door on a Saturday around 11am, not because it was busy, but because the service staff was so slow. The shelves were practically empty, which was okay because I only wanted a large cappuccino with a extra shot of espresso to use up a $5 Christmas gift card. When I got my receipt, I noticed the shot wasn't on it. I explained to the "barista" the error, and he said that's because it already comes with one... ? I thought to myself, "WTF?!, not what I asked you for fool! Did they provide a hearing test before they accepted you to Dunkin Dumbnuts College for exceptionally gifted clowns?!". ...OK, what actually came out of my mouth was, "I'm aware of how you make a cappuccino - hence the word "extra". Can we fix this?". Next came the anticipated eye-roll and dramatic sigh, followed by the insincere standard apology. I was assured the shot would be included. Of course it wasn't. Not only that, I received the smallest large cappuccino I've ever gotten from this franchise. I ended up going to Stuart's and getting a coffee to mix with the waste of $4+ I received at Dunkin Donuts. I threw the card out. They can keep the change- I won't be back. Check out the sad picture attached.

It's cute inside and the service was friendly and informative. They let me know that EVERYTHING, even the puff pastry is made in house!!! Very impressive! I bought a couple glazed donuts to make up for the horrible pastry and donuts that I had this week from elsewhere. I'm so glad I did because they were fresh made and moist and the glaze was still wet! If nothing else they made was good, I would go back just for the glazed donuts! But everything is great so let's keep chatting! I originally decided to drive there to get the cinnamon bread that I remember as a kid. Unfortunately they were sold out. But they did have what they called Easter bread, which is s rich egg loaf, similar to Challah with red and golden raisins in it and the dough is lemon flavored. I bought a loaf of that and brought it home and made epic French toast with it! I highly suggest you do the same! I also tried their spinach pastry and "pizza" pastry, delicious! All the dough here just melts in your mouth without leaving a leathery film on your tongue which means it's real pastry made with butter! I have thus resigned myself to the fact that I will be gaining weight soon due to the frequency in which I plan to keep visiting this place haha!

I ordered six glaze, three jelly and three Boston cream. First of all, when I get home and open the box, there are six glazed and six jelly. The order was wrong. I started with a glazed doughnut, remembering how they were the best glaze ever. It was stale! I tried a second one to see if it was just that one doughnut, and that was stale also! The jelly was worse! The donuts were actually crunchy. Once again stale. It appears that they sell stale old donuts at regular price. I could see if I got there at three or 4 PM. But this was 8 AM, first thing in the morning. These donuts should've been extremely fresh. They were obviously made the day before and sold as fresh. Never again!

So much that I stopped by their shop on a late Sunday morning to a HUGE variety of donuts. They have vanilla based donuts in addition to cider donut. They've got vegan donuts and mishapen discount donuts. They also do too good to go as well as donate any left over donuts. I got the cappuccino and ginger cider donuts and a small coffee. I'll probably stick to their original as the glazes were a little too cakes on and sweet for my liking. Despite the sweetness, the ginger and coffee flavors did shine through... so for those who like sweet things -- this is amazing. In addition to donuts, they have hot apple cider and speciality coffee, tea and cider drinks! It's a cute space where I would love to sit at, drink some coffee and donuts with a book on a snowy morning.

It has taken longer than I like to admit, but I have finally made my way to Duncan's Dairy Bar…read morewhich has been a Troy staple since 1939. Well I'm glad I did because this old school diner was of the highest quality. Taking this into account, I ordered a ham, cheese, and bacon omelette with corned beef hash and the results were excellent. To begin, the omelette was delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection and tasted fresh. Similarly, the bacon was done just right. It wasn't too crispy or too undercooked. Likewise, the cheese was melted perfectly in the middle of the omelette to create a harmony of flavors. It was nice to see a diner actually being able to make a great omelette these days. After that, I tried the corned beef hash and it was great. To explain, the corned beef hash was savory, salty, and richly meaty, with a distinctive tangy and spiced kick from the cured beef. It was definitely homemade which is a rarity nowadays. Without wasting words, Duncan's Dairy Bar is a delightful old school diner that offers tasty homemade breakfast options.

Had decided on a ham club and was totally surprised. It was a more than respectable sandwich stuffed with what seemed like a home cooked ham and plenty of it. It was also stuffed with plenty of bacon as well. A perfectly tasty porky goodness Sammy. The downside is that it was freezing cold. We both agreed some heat would have made it a more pleasant lunch. Service was great with plenty of parking, but adding some heat would have improved the meal.
