Yelp needs a zero star option. This is the saddest DD I've ever come across - and I grew up not far from where the store is located. I walked in and the store was literally empty with one person working. I ordered a BEC and it's been 15 minutes and I still don't have the food. Two customers walked in after me, presumably to order ahead for tomorrow. If you can avoid the heroin needles in the parking lot, or the numerous stabbing that occur within stabbing distance of the property...you might be able to get some crappy food in less than a half hour if the gods are with you. read more

It's a horrible place to go for anything. The service is horrendous and management are rude too. If you want to hear all their personal drama this is the place to go. Think I'll make my own coffee at home or go to the lansingburgh one where the staff are friendly and courteous. I ordered the TURKEY BACON CHEDDAR sandwich from the menu board. I'm not a low talker nor a fast talker and I actually annunciate my words. It's supposed to come with, get this, turkey, bacon and cheddar ( no egg) and a chipotle sauce. What I was served was a sandwich with a rubbery microwaved egg disc and questionable turkey ( too light to be ham but too dark to be turkey and the aroma didn't smell like either meat choice) with nothing else. When I returned it the excuse I got was they accidentally rang in a turkey sausage, egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich. OK so where's the turkey sausage and the cheese? They didn't even get the sandwich they wrongly rung in right. Ive never had an order come out right from this location. I liken this to ordering a cheeseburger and being served a fish filet then being told it's a common mistake since the items are so similar. read more

Somewhat down in the mouth Dunky's location, which runs out of things, isn't the cleanest, and has an awkward seating area and a permanent clientele that discourages lingering enjoyment of one's purchase. I've seen plenty of urban Dunky's locations that were in worse sections of their respective towns that nevertheless were at regular Dunky's standards; this ain't one of them. Okay, this Dunkin IS as bad as the rest of the reviews indicate. I stood at the register for a few minutes waiting for someone to take my order. I'm pretty patient so I didn't make a deal of it - I just waited quietly. The first thing that concerned me was the young female employee who came to the register and rudely asked "What do you want?" I replied "wow, um good afternoon" and then placed my order. The second thing that concerned me that the young female proceeded to argue with a young male employee through her headset in the middle of me placing my order. The final thing that concerned me was the young male employee who walked around with his pants hanging way below his butt. He tried holding them up with one hand and making a drink with his unoccupied hand. It was disturbing and unsanitary. This is a sad place. read more

I normally love Dunkin' Donuts, their donuts and bagels are good and the coffee is not too strong that it upsets my stomach. But this branch is appalling. The customer service is the main issue here. The majority of the staff here are very rude. I have gone several times this week and not once have I seen a smile on the employees' faces. In fact, the taller black girl with the acrylic nails (which are against health code FYI) rolled her eyes at me when I ordered earlier today. I have complained to the manager before about this and it got better for that week but it seems like whenever she is no longer in the store, they all go back to how they previously acted. It's like being served by a bunch of toddlers honestly. If you don't like your job, either suck it up or get a different one. The store itself also has many shady people around it. Understandable based on where it's located but it doesn't make the store itself look too appealing. Overall, if you can go to a different store without going too far out of the way, please do. The employees here are beyond incompetent. Particularly the kid who wears his pants below his butt. He can't comprehend a simple coffee order. I know the job market is strong these days, but it seems like the franchisee could have found a much better employee. This is not my first bad experience at this location, I have been previously, and my order was prepared incorrectly. After my most recent experience, I drove 10 blocks to a different Dunkin where everything went perfectly. I will not even bother trying this location next time. read more

Go elsewhere. Went through the drive-thru with my wife and began to order two breakfast sandwiches and a French vanilla coffee. Nothing fancy. Woman taking orders forgot to turn off her mic, she promptly said to her co-worker, "get ready for a lot of food". Once again, got two sandwiches and a coffee. Once I pulled up, she stared at me. Perhaps waiting for me to say something? I'm not sure. So I said "hello" and handed her my money. Once we received our food, the woman said, "have a good one". I thanked her and said, "you too." For some reason she shrugged at me and slammed the drive thru door? Very weird. Also noted that they forgot the French vanilla flavoring, and the coffee was old/burnt. This place is pretty darn bad. I live on the same block as this Dunkin'. Unfortunately, I've had more than enough bad experiences to confirm the rumors: this is probably the worst DD in the capital region. From the nonsensically short hours to the terribly-prepared food and forgotten orders -- it's all kind of true. Things that have happened here in the last two months: -After ordering, on requesting to use the restroom, a disinterested staff member told me that they had lost the key :/ -ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and an iced coffee with "a little cream": recieved light tan beverage that tasted mostly like half and half and contained very little coffee... waited 7 minutes for the manager to remind staff to make the sandwich. Got it burnt :( -got a "black" coffee sweetened. read more

The only time I resort to Dunkin Donuts for my coffee is when I'm in a rush and looking for the convenience of a drive-thru. No more. I would rather go without coffee or be late to get where I'm going than to subject myself to literally throwing away money at this place again. It's unfortunate because there has been a time or 2 where I was given excellent service and the product was satisfactory. BUT- unfortunately thats a rare occasion, especially at this location! After going there today and simply ordering a large hazelnut coffee, 1 cream no sugar......and getting to work to sip the piping hot coffee only to find that its some kind of sugary concoction of un-drinkable sewage. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE AND NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. I say park in their parking lot and walk over to Bruegger's Bagel's next door instead. read more

I have called this store trying to order something 5 times with no answer. They really don't care about customers here. How can you hear a phone ring through 5 separate times and ignore it? I'm new to the area, but this Dunkin is my go to b/c it's closest. I live off of Congress Street. My first few experiences were terrible, waiting to place my order when I'm the only one in line, orders forgotten, etc...what I did notice was that this seemed to always happen on the mornings when a particular blonde manager was working COMPLETE CHAOS! However, I've also noticed a much different environment when the brunette with the curly hair is running the show ‍The service problems may be a managerial issue. I also think it's understaffed... there should be two people designated for the drive through. One taking orders and one filling them apart from the main restaurant staff. Last week the blonde manager noticed a really long line had gathered and literally said forget the drive through that's shut down until this line is done! I would have been so mad had I been in the drive through! Not the best, but not the worst. Seems like a first job for a lot of these kids and I take that into consideration...I think it's a management issue. Also never had a problem with attitudes and find the staff very accommodating when there is a mix up. read more
