Every time I visit this Dunkin', it's a disappointing experience. The bagel bites always come out cold in the middle, the cream cheese is never warmed like it is at other locations. Today, I ordered my usual brown sugar shaken espresso, the drink had zero brown sugar flavor... it just tasted like plain espresso and milk, no sweetness at all. I didn't have time to take it back because I had to get to work, so now I'm stuck with a bitter drink I'll need to add sugar to myself. I asked for assorted munchkins and got all chocolate and 1 glazed I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this location has been consistently disappointing every single time I've gone. Service is horrible! When you come in you only see 2 people, 1 working the window and the other preparing the orders. So you wait patiently at the counter. Then from the back more workers appear and just look at you. After 5-10 mins once the window dies down then the window worker helped up. It's like this every time we come in! read more

We only come to this location because of convenience. We live way too far to go somewhere good and sometimes we just want to get a quick donut for our kids, but we were done coming here. I can usually put up with this place because their coffee is cheap and tasty (really it's just sugary and sometimes I crave that) and their line is shorter than Dutch Bros, but we won't be coming to this location anymore. The staff is friendly at this location, which is important here in Rita Ranch! The restaurant is clean too! The donuts that they DO have on hand always taste fresh. It is a small location, but I think its cozy inside! The parking lot is tight--although I am positive every single Dunkin' Donuts here in town has the same tiny parking lot!! This is a busy location as its the only donuts shop in our area! Therefore--if you plan on making a "quick" run thru the drive thru--don't try to do so before school or work---you're better off parking your car and running in! They move pretty fast inside. The manager (mary) is the one who took our order. Nice friendly staff, clean areas and restrooms, along with free Wi-Fi. Donuts and drinks are always fresh and yummy. Parking lot is super small, so be careful backing in and out with the rushing soccer mom's and dad's late to work in the morning. Stay away from the drive through in the AM, it will add at least 5 minutes onto your stop, if not more. If you want a high quality, cafe-style coffee for breakfast, Dunkin' is a solid choice. I stopped by first thing before the crowd arrived, and I'm glad I did, because a lot of people are wise to this spot. The building is nicely decorated and clean. The staff was friendly and their customer service was great! I wasn't sure what to order, but the employee behind the counter knew just what to make for me. I got a plain sugar Macchiato and a glazed chocolate donut. The price was about what you would expect to pay for just the coffee at the other place lol. The coffee was amazing. It was a fancy, sophisticated sort of presentation, but it was still recognizable as being coffee. The donut was fresh and delicious. I keep giving this Dunkin chances because it's the only other drive through coffee place in vail besides Dutch Bros, but I always regret it. Multiple times, I've asked for half sweet drinks because they just taste like syrup and it's not 1/2 sweet at all. Also, they fill the cup so full of ice that you almost can't put the straw in the cup. Even when you ask for light ice, it's still completely full of ice. We have a newer Dunkin' Donuts (or Dunkin') in Vail - we decided to swing by there and get some donuts one morning for breakfast. Our plan was buying them in the AM would be our best bet on freshness - didn't work out that way. The donuts were dry even the first day - after the 2nd day, some had to be tossed. Their coffee drinks are very good. We also bought a small box munchkins - they were fine and stayed good for several days. My first time trying Dunkin'. For the record, I am not a Krispy Kreme fanatic. It seems like people love either one or the other. To me, a donut has to have a lot more going on than just sugar in order to be good. DD didn't meet my hopes for their donuts. I tried the Boston Cream and Glazed donuts. Those were the only ones they had available. The pickings were very slim, and unfortunately the donuts they had left were not very fresh. The glaze/frosting on each was crusty and stale, and the donuts themselves were shriveled. The custard in the Boston Cream was very bland and needed much more yolk, and the chocolate itself was, in my opinion, too sweet. I'm not sure what their non-donut offerings are like, but I'm not sure I'm impressed enough to come back to DD and give them a try. read more
