I have given every dunkin in the area countless chances and nearly every time they make my coffee wrong (it's just a stupid latte), I wait an absurdly long amount of time for the wrong coffee, or it's something along the lines of them being out of milk or straws. Was in the mood for a Dunkin iced coffee this morning. I ordered on the mobile app just before we arrived there. Then we pulled in to a very long line at the drive thru. The reason the line was so long was each car seemed to be at the speaker and/or the pickup window for 3-4 mins. We sat so long without moving that my husband actually shut off the car a few times as we inched our way along. By the time we reached the window, we had to ask them to add ice as the original ice had melted as it sat waiting for us! All in all, getting that coffee took over 30 minutes. Call first because they close earlier than their posted 3pm closing time without notice, just a handwritten paper sign hastily taped to the door. The employees don't seem to know that a regular coffee has cream and sugar. Ice coffee was also old and burnt with not even close to enough cream or sugar. I don't even think you should work at Dunkin' Donuts if you have no idea what the difference is between a Boston cream donut and a vanilla cream filled, they are two totally different donuts. This is the best Dunkin I've been to and coming from New England I've been to a lot. They are always polite and efficient. The manager is absolutely amazing. Even though they are short staffed and have to close the lobby due to staffing, she goes above and beyond to get my daily coffee to me. I order in advance on the app everyday. She knows me by name and vehicle. When the lobby is closed and the drive through line is long, she sees my on the go order and will still take the time to bring my coffee out so I can still get to work on time and skip the line. I'm not sure what was going on with this Dunkin Donuts but the drive-thru line was super long! I was in the line for 10 minutes before my order was taken. I should have gotten out of line but I was in desperate need of some coffee while I was on the road. The staff that was taking the order was friendly enough but you can clearly tell that she was frustrated. I'm not sure what the problem was. The coffee was awful! It tasted like it was sitting in the coffee pot for hours burning. I have NEVER had a bad cup of coffee at DD. I just can't believe it! This is the worst location ever. Customer Service does not exist at this location. Trying to get a cup of coffee and donuts from this drive thru will take you a minimum of 10 minutes if it is NOT busy. If it is busy just turn around. It will not be worth it. I waited out side one time for 13 minutes waiting for a bagel. I finally went inside and told them and they said oh its sitting right here REALLY!! like it was no big deal. I will never go back after this morning. I've been to Dunkin many times bright and early in the morning (before 6 am) and this morning I arrived around 5:48 am. There was a line of cars in the drive through so all appeared normal. After sitting in the drive through line for almost 15 minutes (all cars in front of us had left) I finally pulled forward to see what was going on. No one was communicating to the cars in line that they still were not open although signs on the window and online all say they're open at 5 am. There were cars behind me still unaware that no one was going to or cared to tell them they weren't going to be taking their order anytime soon. At the very least, hang a sign back there to tell people you're unable to open a coffee shop on time ‍. Both locations in Venice are awful. I thought this was the better of the two but now I think I'll avoid Dunkin' Donuts completely unless I'm somewhere other than Venice. The cashier refused to wait in 2 gentlemen in front of me in line. The manager was useless. People from the drive through came into the store to complain. I would honestly give 0 if I could. Each experience I have had is horrendous. They have one particular employee who cannot seem to handle a line of more than two people. Each time I have dealt with her the store has been close to empty, the drive thru has not been very busy and she has had help from co workers but will still talk rudely to the customers telling them "hold on" and "we are stressed". If she can't handle basic customer service, she shouldn't be there. I have only had one friendly and helpful employee experience there. I don't know what is going on that the majority of the employees there are so rude and incompetent. If that wasn't enough, they are constantly out of the majority of their food stock. Each time, I have had basic orders and have had to have replacements. I picked up an iced coffee today that had no ice in it and when I asked for ice they said they were too busy (um, they weren't).
