all the food was amazing as always but the customer service was terrible. I politely asked for my food after waiting at least 30 minutes and the employee in a very rude tone asked "what was it?" and i replied "it's under (name)" and she repeated in an even more disrespectful tone "what was it?" and before i could say anything that i ordered she walked away and grabbed my food from behind the counter and slammed it down in front of me and walked away. mind you my friend ordered 20 minutes after me and got her food instantly. all i have to say is that the customer service is terrible and it is very upsetting. read more

For the most part, I've had good experiences at this location, but I stopped going after a recent incident. When I took the first sip of my iced coffee last week, it tasted strongly of what seemed like a cleaning solution. I brought it to the staff's attention, and while I wasn't looking to get anyone in trouble, mistakes happen, the response I received was disappointing. The staff seemed confused and took the drink to the back, but rather than showing concern or offering a clear explanation, they became defensive when I raised the issue. FINALLY!! I've been waiting for a Dunkin' in Vestavia for so long, and my dream has come true. I stopped by on the Saturday after their grand opening, and I stumbled upon their grand opening celebration! They were offering 99 cent medium coffees, donut decorating, beyond meat breakfast sandwich sampling, and a lot of cool prizes! I got my favorite iced latte with almond milk and hazelnut syrup. Still amazing as ever. I also got to decorate a donut with strawberry icing and chocolate sprinkles. Loved it! The store is beautiful and pristine. There is a good amount of seating and a lot of natural lighting, which is nice for a study spot. They have a wide variety of different donuts displayed and everything is on screens. They have a section for mobile ordering in the store and a drive thru for those always on-the-go. I'll definitely be coming here more often because of the convenience. Sometimes I get tired of Starbucks, so this is a good change for my tastebuds :) read more

This location, for me, was as good as any of the other locations. Newly built it has the look and feel of the new model Dunkin'. Samee donut selection that you've come to love .... I'm all about a good French Cruller. Prices are reasonable, especially for the location. About a $1 per donut when it comes to what I'd consider to be the classic type donuts. They also have a pretty extensive list of drinks, usually pass on this since it is mostly geared towards the coffee side of things. Pretty easy access, you could have some issues trying to cross traffic (if heading towards B'ham) if you try and leave this place during before work and after work traffic. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this place to others and wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future. read more

I was excited when I discovered that we were getting a Dunkin in Vestavia. Given the other area locations were never in a convenient spot for me, getting one right around the Walmart and currently constructing Wald Park, I know I will be getting plenty of use from this place! I made it to the grand opening celebration the first Saturday they were open, which included discounted beverages and donut decorations. I even got to take a picture with the donut and coffee cup mascots outside the store on the way out. I have returned several times since then, usually getting the iced coffee from the tap. This is not your father's Dunkin; I like the new set up they have and hope the rest of the new Dunkin's have the same blueprints. For those of you not accustomed to Dunkin, get the mobile app, earn points every time you pay and receive a free reward beverage whenever you reach the threshold. Food and drinks are great when the order is correct. The wait times keep getting longer and longer in the drive through. I just spent 35 minutes in the drive through for a vanilla latte and old fashioned donut. And the latte was the wrong one. Me and my kids come into the Vestavia location at least once or twice a week. We are always greeted when we walk in the door. I have picky kids with indecisive minds sometimes, and Chris is always so patient and great with helping my son and daughter make their choices. He has a delightfully personality. the worst run Dunkin EVER - go elsewhere!!! - they were busy - fine, we all get busy - but i stood at the counter for probably 4-5 minutes with each "employee" (and i use that term very loosely - really just warm bodies taking up space) passing me by multiple times without looking up, acknowledging me or a word to say "hey, we're busy, but i see you and i'm coming to you, OK?" HOWEVER, they were more than happy to chat up the people of their same race in the drive thru. when i asked her about maybe at least acknowledging the customer next time, she had a "SEaDie" look on her face like she she really could care less if i dropped dead right then and there. is this what the world has come to? when i was growing up, if someone told you that you weren't acting correctly or doing something right (like, i don't know... Quick stop for a hot chocolate on my way to work. Convenient location on my route. Normally not really crowded in the mornings. The traffic to come out can be tricky but its well worth the stop at this new location. We just visited this location for the first time and wow!! The person that took our order was very nice and professional. And the person who gave us our food was really friendly too! If you go to this Dunkin, you will never get the same order right more than once. They are always screwing the orders up. Today's order they forgot to give me the donuts I ordered and the English muffin was burnt again. Also they rarely put sweet cold foam when ordered in the coffee. They didn't put that in there also. Not sure what is going on at that location. There seems to be a high turnover rate of employees. I don't understand how hard it is to read a screen with an order on it.
