We Peru's the store, and I have to say everything was fully in stock, well organized, and the store was very clean. They offer so much. I would say Harbor freight is like the Aldie of hardware stores. They offer some major brand names but the majority of the store has less known brands. We picked up a few random supplies and everything we bought, we have used and it works extremely well. The prices are definitely extremely reasonable especially for the good quality. Check out was very easy. They had a few registers open and got people in and out of line to purchase quickly. We will definitely be back.

Went in for an engine stand, sort of an emergency need as an engine needed to be unloaded from a pick up bed. There was a stand on the floor and plenty in the back but the employee didn't want to do the work to get one down. I asked if I could take the floor model and was flatly told no. I explained the need and was told to come back tomorrow and they might be able to get one down from the back. It was obvious they didn't want to work, didn't care about actually making a sale and treated me like I was an absolute inconvenience.

I was given a four hour window and I was notified how many people were ahead of me. I received a call from the delivery person that the would be arriving at a certain time and they did. I asked how much for all three boards and they quoted me $41. 61. I'm new to buying wood so I figured that was a normal price. I didn't check the receipt after I'd paid (my fault) and I went home happy and excited to make stuff. It wasn't until a few days later that I found my receipt and saw they'd charged me $416.14 for three boards. These prices are far above the national average for wood and they don't post prices at the rack. Had I bought these boards anywhere else I would have paid far less. An example, I paid $21.60 a linear foot for the walnut. That's about $32.40 a board foot. S2S online is $14.99 a board foot. I paid more than double to have two extra sides surfaces and sanded. My whole purchase should have costed less than $200. I can't speak for the rest of their merchandise, but if you're buying hardwood don't go here. Update: Brisco True Value in AG charges $11.99 a bd ft for walnut, $6.15 for maple, and $7.59 for cherry. My purchase there would have been approximately $171.53 before taxes and fees for the amount I purchased. I will be shopping there from now on.
