I had a couple people recommend DunnEnzies as their favourite pizza place in Kelowna and after visiting, I can see why. First off, this location has a gorgeous patio that is shaded by a huge tree. Inside is a little more pub-like but still comfortable. Their menu has a lot of interesting vegetarian options. We went with the Tony Beets which is topped with roasted garlic, spinach, onion, roasted beets, goat cheese, and balsamic. I'd never had beets on a pizza before this but now I'm a convert! We ordered two pizzas and a caesar salad to share. Unfortunately this was a let down for us - the pizza's weren't seasoned well and the crust was underwhelming. I didn't go for a second helping on their nachos served to us on Sat night, May 14th. I felt the dry and burnt appetizer was not worth the calories. The four of us had an entertaining time during the $27 each ticket comedy show. There was a fun vibe to the place and the wait staff and comedians were awesome! Love, love, love this place ! It is so cute, and the ambience at night is just perfect. They have twinkle lights, live music, and super fun events. You can sit inside.. but try to get a table outside! The patio is like a large, grassy backyard with trees, and room for kids to play. You can bring your dog (who doesn't love that?), and their food is top notch. It is a pizza place.. but I recommend the tacos! The staff is also great, and gave us some special treats on a birthday celebration night, and always make us feel very well looked after. Cannot recommend enough! read more

Absolutely fabulous afternoon at DunnEnzies Pizza. We are a group of 10 gals, former "stewardesses" who lunch together once a month. Because of our background in old fashioned customer service we appreciate friendly, efficient, kind service in a lovely environment. Good food is also a priority. On Friday, July 28, we were treated to a wonderful afternoon of exactly that, delicious food and wonderful service, it was perfect. The garden setting under the beautiful tree is relaxing and pleasant. Even though there were other people in the garden it was very quiet and felt private. The staff were excellent. Many thanks to the owner who checked on us a couple of times and made us feel so welcome. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day. Thank you, thank you, we will be back. read more

I have tried Dunnenzies Pizza twice now and would say one of the most flavorless pizzas I have ever tried!! Next to no sauce if any at all, just cheese some sausage and peppers with little flavor and even the crust was bland. do not recommend if your looking for good pizza. read more

Went here after seeing a Facebook event for live music. The space is small, but cozy -- good for seeing local bands, but certainly not enough capacity for headliners. No one greeted us when we arrived, so we seated ourselves. Tables are pretty limited and tend to be large so you will likely share with another party. The service after we sat was quite good, with frequent checks by the servers to make sure everything was good, etc. They had some beers on tap from breweries I was unfamiliar with. I didn't see a cocktail list, which seemed strange, but there was an extensive margarita menu. The pineapple express margarita I ordered was easy drinking qnd not sickeningly sweet. I would definitely order it again. The band itself, the Geektones, was actually pretty decent and played a mix of covers and original songs. People even got up to dance at times, though there isn6t a huge space for a dance floor. There were a couple of issues with the sound, but the staff tried to resolve problems whenever they arose. The music is really loud though, so there was no way to have a conversation while the band was playing and due to the size of the restaurant, there's not really an option to sit in a quieter area. Foodwise, theres nachos, fries, and arancini (which I would love to try) for starters and then the mains consist of a massive pizza list, a series of tacos, a calzone, donair and 4 salads. The green goddess taco was good but a bit overpriced as you only get 1 taco for $7. We tried the fuggedabout it pizza. It was good, but I expected it to have more kick and spice. the crust is also pretty thick, so be aware if you are more of a thin crust kinda person. There is a pretty patio area that I could see being fun in the summer (although the review below about it is scary). Overall, this is the kind of local hang out that you would want to go to with longtime friends and just chill. read more

Let me preface this, by saying I have worked in the service industry for 6 years, and I have personally made my fair share of screwed up orders and mistakes, so I understand that it happens. Because of this, normally I'm really easy going when I experience poor service because I know it happens sometimes. But honestly, the service tonight at Dunnenzies was absolutely ridiculous, and one of the worst experiences I have ever had at restaurant. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know and I will not be going back. Here's why: The 2 of us arrived at the restaurant just before 7pm. The restaurant was pretty busy, however there were multiple empty tables (several still covered in dishes). We entered and stood at the door for a several minutes before we were even acknowledged for being there. Finally someone said "we'll be right with you folks" at which point it was still a couple minutes until someone came over to take us to our seats. Let me say, that while we stood there, multiple empty-handed servers made eye contact with us, then turned around and did something else. Once seated, the server came back after several minutes to take our drink order. I ordered a strongbow cider, my girlfriend a dill pickle caesar. While waiting, we watched the restaurant fill up with people, and proceeded to watch as all those tables which arrived after us received their drinks before us. 20 minutes later my girlfriend received her drink. And I was notified that they were switching out the keg for my cider, so I'd have to wait longer. To which I responded that I ordered a cider that comes in a can, not from the tap. I received my cider a few minutes later, at which point we were finally able to order our food. We ordered 5 vegetarian tacos (no meat required, so shouldn't take too long to make, right? Wrong.). Finally after 50 minutes of waiting, someone brought us chips to say sorry for the wait. The chips were SOGGY, which was disappointing. After over an hour of waiting, we finally received our 5 tacos. Which were mediocre, and not worth the wait or lack of service. If they had just opened, I'd understand high wait times, but they've been open for months, this kind of service is completely unacceptable. Save yourself the time, and go somewhere else. read more

We met some friends for what we thought would be a pleasant evening. Were we wrong. We sat out on the patio under the gorgeous tree on a warm Friday night. Our server was outstanding. Outside of that, this was brutal. There were a dozen or more children running rampant in the open yard beside the patio as well as through and between the tables and the patio. They were yelling and screaming, climbing on the corrugated tin fence, throwing rocks at the tin fence, throwing crap they pulled up from the gardens all over the patio - it was unbelievable. This was the worst restaurant experience ever, ruined totally by millennial parents with no respect for others who think their children can do whatever they please, while they just sit there and eat their meal like nothing is going on right behind them. When we complained to our wonderful server that Management should police their unruly guests, she said she TOTALLY agrees, but this craziness is pretty common and Management won't do a thing about it because they don't want to anger those guests. I said well THIS guest is furious - they don't care if I'm angered? She felt terrible but was helpless, as well as visibly shocked by what was going on. I don't even know if the food was any good I was so mad. I had a pizza but there was nothing extraordinary about it. If you want a nice quiet dinner with friends, might I suggest the pool deck at the H2O centre on a Saturday morning during swim lessons? Because THAT would be a better, quieter more civilized dining experience than this was. Dunnenzies Management - might I suggest you grab some kahonies and ask unruly guests or their children to sit down and stop bothering other guests or they'll be asked to leave? And also put a sign up at the edge of the patio saying this isn't a playground, it's a restaurant and children and their parents must be mindful of other guests? NOT that I really care WHAT you do, we and our guests are never eating here again. read more

Worst service I had. Food was sub par . It took more than two and a half hours to get a nachos and was only served 2 drinks in that almost 3 hrs periods. No apology, no discount and snide comments from the manager as we left. Nicole, our waitress brought me a lemon in her bare hand sorry as a server my self that is NOT acceptable.
