They are obviously not putting any money into maintaining this facility. And then you go to a Foodland Farms in Honolulu and the difference is glaring...everything is state of the art. There once was another Foodland on Kauai. The Kapaa location was allowed to slowly deteriorate (sound familiar?) and the locals simply drove to the next light and shopped at Safeway. Not a possibility in Princeville. If you need a real supermarket the only alternative is that same Safeway in Kapaa. On the plus side...they have good poke. If you trust their refrigeration!

They have a great selection of fruits, vegetables and shelf stable foods. They also have a lovely cafe at the back of the shop where they serve coffee drink and some hot food items. I had a jalapeño cheese bagel with butter and my partner had a lox bagel. We were both very happy. They also carry cold case items to go like vegetarian spring rolls and mango chia seed pudding.
