It was so good that we came back two more times during our trip. There are plenty of poke options to choose from, along with other local favorites. If it's your first visit, the selection can feel a little overwhelming, but the friendly staff makes the experience easy. We also tried the ginger fried chicken, and it was delicious. This is definitely a grab-and-go spot, there's no seating, but there's plenty of parking. Arrive early for the best selection, and come hungry!

The first night, my husband ordered the prime rib special with mac salad and rice, which was basically his dream come true, and I got the loco moco, which I shared with my toddler. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and exactly what we were craving. We enjoyed it so much that we came back on our final night and ordered the galbi and lechon kawali. Once again, every dish was a hit. The proteins were flavorful and filling, and the mac salad deserves its own shoutout. It may be my favorite mac salad on the island. This is absolutely the kind of place we'll return to on our next visit. It's also conveniently located near the airport, making it a great first stop when you arrive or a last meal before heading home. A couple things to know before you go: parking was easy when we visited, but there isn't any seating. This is very much a pick-up-and-go spot. It had been named one of Yelp's top food trucks in the nation, so I had to give it a try--and it did not disappoint. Located right on the side of the highway in Kapa'a, Kauai, Tony's Catch sits in a group of about six other food trucks. From the outside it looks pretty simple--just a white truck with a menu--but don't let that fool you. I ordered the mahi-mahi fish tacos, which came with red rice and beans, and I have to say they were some of the best fish tacos I've had in my life. My wife ordered the fish and chips (also mahi mahi), and it was delicious too. I've eaten at plenty of food trucks over the years, and this one takes the top spot. Overall: 5 stars for the food, 5 stars for the location--right next to the beach. I totally recommend it.
