We stopped by this food truck around 6pm and ended up being their last customers of the day as they were out of shrimp! We heard they were completely out rice and greens but we still went ahead and got the spicy garlic Kauai shrimp and the spicy pineapple shrimp tacos. Loved the tacos which had a real kick but the spicy garlic shrimp was really the star. First the Kauai shrimp was super fresh and personally I love eating shrimp heads so this was a real treat. The shrimp had such a nice texture and flavor I could tell they were great quality. The spicy garlic sauce was definitely the best I've had. So much flavor and with just a bit of kick to complement the umami shrimp. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Kauai and will come earlier just in case they sell out! read more

If you want the most garlicky delicious shrimp then come here!! My husband and I both ordered the shrimp with garlic+butter, peeled (because we have a toddler and baby and can't peel them since we're wrangling them)...and WOWOWOWOW! SO so good! The shrimp is super tender, not ever cooked. Seasoning is spot on. I'll be craving this when I'm back at home. My daughter had the spam musubi and she had two of them! The musubi has a bit more rice than expected but my daughter loves rice so it didn't matter. Service was fast! Definitely a food truck to visit!! Tables near truck for perfect seating! I love shrimp and this food truck had full flavor shrimp fried garlic butter shrimp and spicy due to the fryer not working we didn't get to get the coconut shrimp but the following day we made sure to come back and try the head on shrimp as well . The food is made to order and made sure that was known especially since you will be waiting with a line . Don't be thrown off when your GPS has you going into a community / hotel area because the truck is in a middle of that. The combo plate with kalua pork and garlic butter shrimp was solid -- the pork was tender and the shrimp perfectly cooked in garlicky goodness. Easy to find food truck, right where it was said to be on Yelp! The garlic butter shrimp are definitely the stay of the show. We also got a combo plate to try the pork and I honestly wasn't a huge fan so my husband ate all of it. It was super Smokey if you're into that, and didn't come with any sauce to my knowledge. My husband just dipped it in the extra garlic butter. Didn't see any children size on the menu so we just got two adult dishes and shared with our two year old. This place is kind of hidden in the Wyndham condos/timeshare. There are 3 food trucks there. We ordered the garlic shrimp plate. And the seafood combo. Both were delicious. Parking is easy and they have outdoor benches and tables in a covered area if you do not want to take it with you. Service is reasonable and could take some time to get your food depending on how many people have ordered. It could take some time but definitely worth the wait. read more

Located in between buildings 17 and 5 in the Club Wyndham resort complex. When you see guest registration on your left, take the next right and follow the driveway to the loop. 3 food trucks there, Shrimp Paradise is the white one on far left. This place is one of the best places we ate at while in Kauai! The plates are amazing and come with a lot of food for only $20. They have a wide array of options and the best musubi I've had in my life! Besides the amazing scenery on the island this is one thing I'll miss the most and sadly we discovered it the day we left or we would've had it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
