Always a busy spot. Suggest to go directly through the drive thru here. Visited recently to try the first new Fall flavors. The Cookie Butter Latte is really good ( little to sweet for me), but the Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée is absolutely delicious- perfect balance of all ingredients. Don't often come to Dutch; as it seems to kinda cater more towards the energy drinks like their own Blue Rebel and their elevated boujee beverages. However, when they feature their seasonal coffee brews that's when I like to experience their unique blends especially in the fall. Note- They have a "secret menu". First is their Golden Eagle (a creamy caramel breve). Another is the- White Zombie (a vanilla breve with white chocolate), and lastly their Snickerdoodle (a breve with cinnamon and white chocolate). Additionally, with the energy drinks there are several variations like the Daydream Rebel and other combinations such as the Red Velvet Mocha. I visited the Dutch Bros at 3670 S Val Vista Dr in Gilbert around 7:45 PM last Wednesday and ordered a passion fruit and coconut extra blended Rebel with a blue raspberry float and parfait-style soft top. The drink itself tasted really good and was made well. However, when I got home and started drinking it, I felt a small paper-like texture in my mouth. I was able to take it out before swallowing it, and it looked like a small brown piece of paper--possibly similar to the brown paper used for hand towels. While I did enjoy the flavor of my drink, finding something like that in it was really disappointing and not appetizing at all. I hope this was just a one-time mistake, but I wanted to bring it to attention so it can be addressed. read more

I don't appreciate your morning staff a girl with a nose ring branding my car the patriot just because I decided to show respect to Charlie Kirk. And then when I drive up to the window the guy with curly hair and glasses laughing because he thought it was funny his coworker described me as the patriot. OMG... first of all, we live nowhere near this store. Our doctors are in the area. the 4 DBs by us are okay, good, no large complaints. when we go to this location the staff are OVER THE TOP friendly, supportive, and attentive. We took our fur baby to this location on Val Vista for her birthday, her favorite Saturday routine is getting a pup cup. Our truck was swarmed by staff who were having a post shift meeting on the patio with one young woman carrying a pup cup with sprinkles, and extra dog treats. All of the women were gushing about her (Gypsy)... Because of dietary concerns we told them there was way too much cream in the cup and we thanked them. The girl immediately went back and made another one JUST RIGHT..... WHO EVER IS IN CHARGE.... needs to give their staff a HUGE pat on the back, and let them know, they made a huge difference in our lives that day..... The service was five stars, the drink was four. Stopped by this Dutch Bros one early Saturday morning to grab two large lattes before our big day got started. A line at the drive-thru had already formed when we arrived, but it moved fairly quickly. Once it was our turn to order, we were greeted by a sweet and bubbly team member. She made great conversation while we briefly waited for our drinks. I ordered an iced cinnamon honey oat milk latte and my husband ordered an iced flavored oat milk latte. The drinks were tasty, but weren't as strong as we would have liked. We had a busy day ahead of us and needed all the caffeine to get us through. However, we felt like there wasn't much in our large drinks. We're big coffee drinkers and if it doesn't make our hearts palpitate, we don't want it. Kidding, of course! This review is exclusively for the coffees more than the location itself. I was introduced to this coffee by one of my colleagues. My first coffee was white chocolate mocha and there was no looking back since then. My favorite is the bob Marley which I tried at the Gilbert downtown location, don't know if it's available in other location. My go to is the caramelizer and their coffee blend is on top. This location i have always used the drive through and it's crowded every time of the day. The price of the coffee is as usual but I don't like why they add tips to the billing when the coffee price itself is about $5 for a small cup. But like the concept of 10 cups and 1 free cup. There are two different drive thru lines you can pick from when arriving. This evening both were open so we decided to go for the one lane that was on the left side. We were there for about 10 minutes when we finally saw two employees come on out and start to help people. At this time, another car had arrived right after me in the right lane. I saw the employee skip me and went to that car that had arrived after me to help them out. I was starting to get irritated when I finally saw the people in that car point to my car and they told her we were actually there before them. (Thank you) The employee looked annoyed and turned around to help us. She didn't say much and just took my order and walked away. As I can see from other reviews this place can be a hot mess at times. We waited about 20 minutes for one medium midnight rebel and by the time we got to the window it tasted watered down. I only took away a star because of the inconsistency from my husbands last visit. The drive-thru was ridiculously long and because I had an appointment I decided to walk up and wait in line. While the line looked long it went quickly. It was my turn and I'm glad I knew what I wanted because there are no menus to look at. Younger adults and maybe even teens working? They were friendly and even asked me if I had a punch card. Way to get customers back ! I ordered the Annihilator iced with an extra shot. I stopped by here yesterday on the way to paint my new house - time to fuel up! The line for drive-through was a bit crazy. It took me 15 minutes - but the employees did their best to keep us moving by walking up to the car windows in line, having us pay while waiting in line so that we could drive up to the window and quickly get our drinks. Our family has quickly fallen in love with Dutch Bros.  The store on ValVista in Gilbert, AZ is exceptional. Over time I have watched them handle many interactions with various levels of traffic.  They constantly have smiles, greet every customer as if they are cherished, work very hard to keep the line moving, and make every visit pleasant. This Dutch Brothers is right across the street from where I work, so I often stop here on my way in the mornings. The drive-thru is always crazy busy when I stop and I was almost late for work the other morning! They do have some workers who come out with tablets to take the orders and payments while in your car. It really does not make the line go any faster. They do have a walk-up window, so next time I will do that to avoid the drive-thru line. The wait is woth it, as their coffee/teas are worth it. I usually get the passion fruit ices green tea, and it is cold and refreshing. I will be back to this location as it is close to my office. It just opened, so I expected a longer wait time. That was fine, but my drink was not very good. I had an Italian soda, and it seemed like they hardly put any syrup in it. I hope they work out the kinks of this new location because it is really close to my house and on my way to work, so fingers crossed. Oh Dutch Bros. The coffee is great, the best way I can describe it is pretty much a chocolate milk latte with sugary flavors... but I love it anyways. Typical for Dutch Bros is long lines, this location no exception especially as it is off a major highway, across from a hospital, and new to the area. It features a double drive through, however, there is still only one order window at the end where you pick up your drink... so once you're in line you are officially stuck in line for the remainder of however long it takes them to get through two drive through lines worth of cars and one window to take your order, make and serve up your drink. That being said, I'd skip the drive thru unless you're confident you've got 15-45 minutes to wait and walk up to the window where you can at least walk away if its unusually busy. That being said, I waited in the drive thru line because I got stuck in it and everyone was super friendly per usual and the coffee was delicious as always. It's the same old Dutch Bros awesomeness just with longer lines because it is the new location. read more

Dutch Bros is very popular at my school so I decided to stop by and try it. I didn't go into the drive thru but at the window, there was a bit of a wait due to the customer in front of us, no biggie, but then another employee came over to help us get our order started. I didn't get his name, but he was very nice and he helped my friend decide what to get. Josh at the window was probably the nicest person I've ever met. Our drinks came out faster than expected and the sizes are generous. I got the cotton candy frost and it was super super sweet, I'm fine with it since I'm a sweet tooth, but let this be a heads up to anyone reading this :) I can tell that this Dutch Bros goes above and beyond to make customers want to come back, I know I definitely will! read more
