I was so excited to find out that KC has ditch bros because we don't have them in stl and it's been my favorite coffee since I first had it in Colorado a few years back. This is absolutely the best Dutch Bros ever! The drinks are consistently delicious, and the workers are always smiling.

Their espresso is awful. Bitter, so bitter that my husband couldn't drink it. He ourdered two shots of espresso and no amount of sweetner/sugar could make this espresso palatable. I like just a plain latte, espresso and milk, iced. The espresso has no character. I'm not fond of overly sweet and flavored coffee beverages, so Dutch Brothers is not going to be my go to coffee shop. If you like Frappuccino this is the place for you. If you like good coffee without a lit of add ons, this is not the place for you. read more

First off, 3 stars is NOT for the coffee. The good: The coffee is amazing! And, what I really love is that most everything they can make sugar-free. I love that! Not a ton of coffee places will have that kind of sugar-free selection. For this alone, it stands out from most coffee shops local to me. I've been to this location about 4 times since they opened. Also, the staff is super friendly. The down: It's been averaging about a 20 min wait in line. First trip was about 30 mins but it was opening week (understandable). They have a lot of people working, so I'm not sure why the long wait. I'm sure there is some training going on but the manager in me wants to help move them around to be more efficient. if the line went faster, this would be a 5 star review. I do get small talk at the window (to a degree), but before coffee isn't when I'm at my chattiest, so I can forego that. I think this is more of a company thing, though. I plan on continuing to stop by at least once a week when I have extra time in the mornings. read more

It's the day after Christmas, and the line has been out of the building and down the street. We drove past twice. Once at noon, again, at 1:30. Then a third time we got in line. The line took 35 minutes to get through. I have a feeling it was limited staff today. The staff was very friendly, even though it was 20 degrees today! You could tell workers were extremely cold. Please make sure you tip the staff decently! Then we got up to the window, and they asked to see my Dutch Bros app. They gave us extra points for waiting! We didn't even ask for points. We didn't complain about the wait. The wife got the sugar and spice oat milk latte. She could smell it as soon as she got it. Holiday baking spices, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. She said it was lovely, 4.5/5. Mine was a dragon slayer Rebel Energy drink. Red raspberry, blue raspberry, and blackberry flavor. Mine would be a 4/5.
