So I finally stopped by Dutch Bro's Coffee and I'm so glad I made the journey to it! I follow a handful of people in Oregon on Instagram and they are always hyping up Dutch Bros... so when I realized there was one not too far away I knew I had to go. I tried the German Chocolate Breve Iced Coffee and it was just delightful! I really appreciated the sweet young lady taking my order and offering this suggestion since I've never been before. I first discovered Dutch Bros while visiting my Sister in Oregon a few years back. It was her favorite coffee chain, and I think we went there every day while I was visiting. For the last couple years, I have been getting my Dutch Bros fix every time I was in Colorado Springs. Thankfully, finally, I can get their delicious beverages very close to home. Although I have grown to expect the "burnt" notes that certain national coffee chains are known for, there is something undeniably pleasurable about a rich, full-bodied, cup of coffee that is all about the smooth, and has left the harsh behind. Dutch Bros is that cup of coffee. They manage to provide an excellent product, that although not cheap, is not as overpriced as certain competitors. This location has only been open for a couple days, but I have been here both days. I plan to keep this up at least for a while. So there is a lot of hype around Dutch brothers! They are known for their long lines and very customizable drinks. The few times i have been to this location, I did not experience a terrible wait. The staff is soooooo nice and they play fun music you almost feel like you are on vacation when you go there. The workers are all super friendly and I think it would be a super fun place to work. With covid times upon us they adapted well by coming outside and taking orders window side on an iPad. You can pay them there and by the time you get up to the window it is just a quick swoop of your drinks. I have gotten two different iced coffee drinks and a tea.'the tea is already sweetened which I didn't like. (Coloradans aren't sweet tea drinkers!) I like to have this as an option. The coffee was awesome but again, a little on the sweet side even when I requested "half sweet." I would definitely go again just won't order anything sweet and may stick with just a cold brew coffee. read more

I'm visiting my bestie and I was so happy to see these establishments out here. This location is the only one we have gone to. The service is awesome. All of the servers are super friendly and patient. My bestie has never been here and was waiting for me to come out in order to try it. She is a coffee fan... so she has been trying the coffees. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I'm forced to have the energy drinks. Which I don't mind at all lol. She has tried the Golden Eagle (9/10 would recommend. She said it was pretty close to the stuff she would order at Starbucks.) White Zombie (6/10 would recommend. She said there was a lot of chocolate in it. So if you like chocolate... it's perfect for your taste buds) Caramelizer Nitro Infused Cold Brew (7/10 would recommend. She expected it to be a little bit more sweeter) BUT... she enjoyed All of the drinks. We also ordered a Peppermint Hot Chocolate. LOVE IT I have ordered the Electric Berry. Love me son Dutch!! I've been an avid fan since I lived in Arizona which there was a plethora of them just about on every major corner. But alas I am now here in Colorado. I was ecstatic to learn (thanks to yelp!) there was one just a short drive from my house. I sure hope they bring more Dutch locations around the metro area and even down in CR. My all time fav is always an iced kicker. I also love Unicorn Blood when I'm not wanting coffee. Dinosaur Egg is also good. BUT I went this morning and they now have a PUMPKIN KICKER. *dead* So of course I ordered that and ICED! I always love Dutch coffee as iced vs hot. And it was AHHHHMAZING. I got extra pumpkin too - I DEFINITELY recommend!! If you're not a coffee fan and just want a nice drink with a lack of caffeine, get Christmas morning (it's like a chai tea latte) and it's delish! Just wish it came with caffeine (without having to add a shot.) When in doubt, google their secret menu or ask the Dutch baristas. They always will hook you up with something yummy and new. Honestly so relieved they have a Dutch Bros about 20 minutes from my house. As expected, this stand was pretty busy both at the walk and drive up windows. I've honestly found that I get better service at the walk up, even back home in Washington and that's true here too. Service is always fast and questions about their menu are always welcome. I ordered their birthday cake latte and found that getting it half sweet was just right if you don't want it to taste like syrup. I also picked up granola bars and got some extra stamps. If you're looking to try something new, definitely look at the online menu as the full list of flavors for all their drinks. Okay, so I frequent this place on the weekends when the weather is nice out and I always have great drinks. The people are usually friendly and they keep the line moving. My only issue is the constant invasive questions. When you arrive to the window to get your drinks, it never fails that the person working wants to know engage in question after question. Some examples include, but are not limited to: "How's your day?" This is normal. I'll let this one slide. "Where are you going?" Umm, not your business. "What are you doing?" Again, not really your concern. "What are you plans for tonight?" One girl asked me this and she seemed very creepy in the way she asked me. Totally made me uncomfortable. "Did you wake up early?" What's early to you? "Where are you headed after this?" Once more, not your concern. "Did you go out last night?" Wow, really? "Who do you have in the car with you?" Okay, now you're getting weird. "Looks like you have room for one more in there." Excuse me? Are you asking for a ride? I mean, the questions NEVER stop. What is that all about? PRO: Fast and efficient service! CON: Almost too fast for my taste. As soon as we entered the drive up queue a barista was on her way outside with an iPad to take our order.
