They are extremely pleasant and rival Chick-fil-A for helpfulness. Don't get the hype coffee is mediocre, barely any food options and the very awkward part is they verbally ask you if you want to add a tip in the drive-thru if I wanted to tip they should have to put it in yourself not ask and make the customer uncomfortable. Absolutely amazing. I got three drinks for what that other place charges and every single one of them was outstanding. Even with the huge line it moved very fast. They even have a double wide exit and side door so if the car in front of you has an order that takes longer, they pop out the side door, give you your drinks, and you can drive off instead of being trapped in the drive thru. The coffee was amazing, they originally got my order wrong but the cashier was so sweet and fixed it right away. But there was a guy (assuming the manager of some sort) started questioning the cashier at the window and correcting her in front of us and spoke very loudly, felt as though he was being rude and could have spoken to her by pulling her aside. The service at the location is trash. My family and I pulled up at a reasonable time after hearing decent things about Dutch Bros. It was about 7 PM and the line was 'Starbucks' long. Not too bad but the wait usually should be about maybe 5-10 minutes long. Well there were these two young gentlemen taking orders on tablets just as if Raising Caines would. Guess what is so unique about Dutch Bros though, you don't get any visual aids like a menu when they're taking your order, and the person putting in your order will be severely unknowledgeable and sarcastic! What a great time right? Well, my family had never been to Dutch and the website looked like all it served was Iced or Blended coffee. I genuinely asked, do you guys serve coffee hot by any chance? And was met by the beautiful response 'look at the sign sir *points* it says coffee' and continues to sarcastically explain that they serve it hot, cold, or timid??? Then I asked, do you have a menu we can see by any chance? Cars in front of us were clearly in front of the actually ordering menus, and he said 'we do sir they are right there.' He then walks away, comes back, and says I'll be your menu today and points at various parts of his body as if they were sections of the menu. I KID YOU NOT. At this point, I had a two hour drive home from here and needed some caffeine so I looked on my phone and ordered two Annihilators (wouldn't suggest this drink at this location) because at this point I was annoyed and wanted to bounce out of the long line we had been waiting in. This kid then has the AUDACITY to ask for a tip. I gave a dollar because I feel compassionate for baristas yadda yadda yadda. He responds with, 'thank you sir, I have no idea why you'd tip me but I appreciate it.' We then proceeded to wait 20 minutes in our line for a drink!!! I would have left if I hadn't already paid through the terminal (of which was the only indicated option of payment by this young gentleman). I was thinking of being a Karen or Kevin and complaining to the person at the window about the service but guess what! Our young man was at the window giving us our drinks as well! The drinks themselves were really mediocre. Tasted like espresso, water, maybe some half and half and barely whatever macadamia syrup they use for this drink. Truly a unique experience. I honestly have no clue why this location has four stars. Probably because it's something new and exciting for Lancaster. They have such interesting menu and cool staff here. Very welcoming and know what they are doing. Their coffee was so good like I enjoyed every taste of it. I got the white chocolate something in frappe. I need to get the Mangonada next. Their door says mafia only, so supposedly their employees are mafias, which seems like a stretch. So I have been coming here since they opened and even though the lines can be very big the longest I have waited is 10min. Today I stopped by before work and ahead of me were only 3 cars. Well, the one in front of me may have been an employee or an acquaintance of ALL the staff because starting with the girl taking orders to the window staff the chatting went on and on. Since I was timing myself for work I know exactly how long the wait was and it was 18 min. 14 of those was waiting behind one car. To top it off the girl making the drinks had this 2inch acrylic nails which in my opinion are extremely unsanitary and the girl who handed me the drinks had a spiderman glove which she had used to pet the dog in the car in front of me. Love this Dutch Bros location!! They make the best drinks and have super great customer service! I always go here to get my rebel energy drinks for late night study sessions. It can get crowded but the employees always do their best to get you your drinks as fast as possible! Seriously some of the best customer service of any DB location I've been to and just overall in the AV as they have great vibes and always help you with a smile. 10/10 would def recommend! read more

To the district manager of this location: We were cut off by another car when it was time to merge into 1 line to get to the drive thru window when it was clearly our turn. Then the lady in the car and her friend started taunting us and laughing at us. They wouldn't stop verbally harassing us and swinging there middle finger around through the rear view mirror. When she got to the window it became obvious that she knew everyone and turned out to be an employee at this Dutch location. We got her name being ANDREA. After she received her drinks she sat there purposely talking to her co worker Tayden who was working the window for about 3-5 minutes after receiving her drinks to piss us off even more. There was already a long line per usual and two cars behind us honked for her to move because it was obvious that she had already received her drinks and was just conversing. She finally moved but drove off really slowly making it a point again to piss us off while laughing at us in her rear view mirror. She drove off then made a u turn just to drive right in front us to flip us off face to face. The team lead nick witness that final altercation. Dutch brothers need to get it together being their grand opening and all. The staff didn't even know how to take my order and didn't even ask if I wanted whipped cream on my freeze which at the window when I asked for it they barely added any and then asked if I needed a straw for my drink as if I was going to drink a freeze straight out of the cup. Come on common sense. Too many workers for them all not to have it together. Lol. I asked for the drink to have light ice so it would be runny to drink and she didn't even modify it for me and it was too thick to even drink. Won't be back. Plus I don't like how they ask you if you're going to tip when you pay. That makes me uncomfortable. I'll tip if I want to not when asked. And why would I tip them for doing their job? Insane. First of all the only reason I'm making a review is so the employees that just helped me hopefully read it. I got Dutch bros at this location for the first time around 8:30pm. The staff there literally MADE MY NIGHT YALL are amazing! If you don't like the fact they can actually have fun at work and still do their job go cry about it somewhere else. Being someone that worked/works in the "fast food" type of drive thru industry I'm sooo happy to see they don't hate their job. I hope I can make the trip out to this specific location more often just to see these amazing employees having a great time !! Just because some of y'all are groomed to always hate ya jobs doesn't meant they have to . Try to be nice to them so they return it back to y'all.
