Our order was taken In-N-Out style by a friendly staff member with an iPad, & were greeted with their signature chipper, "Hey, Friend!" at the pick-up window. I ordered a Strawberry Sparkling Soda with strawberry pieces; the flavoring wasn't as sweet or strong as I would've liked but that didn't take away from my overall enjoyment. Absolutely the worst Dutch bros I've ever been to as far as wait time, customer service, and even drink consistency. I've been to this location several times over the last few years since they first opened. Nowadays I will drive a bit further just to go to the yuba city location only to avoid the hassle and headache of this location particularly with rude staff. Myself and my husband have both been a victim of short, heavy set Hispanic girl with piercings and glasses (apologies for only using descriptors as I don't know her name). She is incredibly rude and nasty for no reason at all every single time we've ever encountered her. The other staff members are not quite as rude, but not very friendly either. Recently my husband had a mobile order here and went to the window when we pulled up. We choose mobile order for this location because dare we get in line and wait 30+ minutes because they are so slow. He was a couple minutes earlier than the expected pick up time, which shouldn't be an issue to anyone. We don't mind waiting a few minutes, he just figured he would walk up and check in so they know he's there when the order is ready and this girl looked at him and said with the most rude tone and dirty look "you're way too early." And it's not what is said, it's HOW it's said. A simple "we'll have that out for you in just a few minutes" would have sufficed. My husband snapped back and told her that he was just checking in, and any other time we come at the approximate ready time given it's still not ready anyways so shouldn't matter that he's checking in. She said nothing back to that, but when we got our drinks they didn't taste as they should, and she made them so it makes me wonder if she omitted certain ingredients or just sloppily made it inconsistent on purpose just to be a jerk because of the interaction she had with my husband. She is such mean girl energy, and idk how she has worked here for as long as she has with that attitude. If you hate people so much then just don't have a job that involves customer service. And with that being said the fact that this staff has the audacity to ask for tips is quite comical. If you want to be treated like a human being and not just an inconvenience for being a paying customer then go to the yuba city location on Colusa. They are always consistently friendly and never have an issue with the drinks. read more

Went to Dutch Bros in Marysville CA this morning and decided to go through the drive thru. While waiting behind at least 10 cars, which is normal because the location is very busy, the staff that takes orders were having 10 minute conversation with their friends instead of moving the cars along. I am a very patient customer and always tip well when the service good but today was an example of what a business should not do. Clients see everything! Been to hundreds of Dutch bros across our travels and had such a rude bro-ista today. He was rushing us and said things like "that's not a thing" when my 11 year old asked for raspberry cream on top. What they do here does not makes sense, they'll take the orders and give it out of order. We're close to the window and they'll hand out the drinks of the cars way behind us. I would say they probably handed at least 6 drinks already and those cars are not mobile order we're all drive thru. I come here all the time. I get a Strawberry rebel every single time. I was handed a very orange drink that did not taste like how it does every other time. I was told they are gonna remake it and I can keep the drink then the manager wanted it back. Then gave me the same drink back with a new straw. The new workers seem like a holes. Stopped by on my way to a job site. I think this place is new, as I have driven this road before and never noticed it before. They have two lines entering towards the building but then it combines into one line, which kinda a bottleneck. Someone came by and took my order. There didn't seem to be one dedicated person per line so they kept jumping around. When I inched toward the building and pickup window, most people zippered. I also did notice that if you're drink was ready and you weren't at the window yet, they would bring out your drink to you. Which is how I got my drink. The barista also gave me a Dutch Bros sticker. I got a small hot Annihilator. Its supposed to be macadamia nut flavored but it was very subtle. My go-to drink is usually the carmelizer but I didn't want something too sweet this morning. It's not a fast stop - I think I was there a total of 15 minutes. But I do love my Dutch Bros. read more

My California friends told me I had to try Dutch Bros when I moved out here and I'm glad I did. While, I have not tried their coffee yet, their Freezes are amazing! I've had the Golden Eagle a number of times because it's so delicious and this week i grabbed a Freedom because, merica. Fourth of July. They have a great, drive up or walk up environment with a little bit of outside seating, great service with super friendly baristas, who are very knowledgeable about their products. This is the closest dutch to me, so I usually frequent this location. I have noticed that if there are more than 2 cars in line you can expect to wait AT LEAST 15-20 minutes. i'm not sure if it's a staffing problem or what but it is every single time unless i'm the only car there. I went today about 5 cars in line and waited almost 40 minutes. We waited for 10 of those minutes at the window, and we only had 2 drinks. I have worked in coffee shops before, so i know it should not take 10 minutes to make 2 drinks unless you're literally BRAND NEW. The wait would have been fine except our entire order was wrong. Also not to mention the guy at the window just kept awkwardly staring at us, i know their job is to connect with customers but i honestly would rather have a faster experience if it meant not having that awkward chat. First i ordered a medium rebel extra sweet. mine came out first and it was a small and not extra sweet. When this has happened in the past (also at this location) they give me a cup with some extra syrup. When we asked the guy at the window seemed mad and made us feel awkward or as if we did something wrong for asking for PART of our drink to be corrected, we didn't say anything about the small cup instead of the medium because accidents happen it's not a big deal. They gave us a side cup and then our second drink came out a couple minutes later. this was a Small rebel half sweet. i tried this drink bc my boyfriend said it was SUPER sweet and it was. it was more sweet than the drink we actually ordered to be extra sweet. Ultimately it's not a huge deal but i notice there is a lot of inconsistency at this location, with wait times, and drink quality. at the end of the day I am a paying customer, and i do expect the company to try to satisfy their customers expectations. I come to this Dutch Bros often, on average 2-3 times a week regularly. I came last Saturday morning 2/15 with my son and went through the drive through. I gave my regular order to the worker outside taking orders, who repeated it back to me twice before it was finally correct. He said he was having some issues with the tablet I guess, but still remembered to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip and didn't have any issues pulling up that on the screen so go figure. When I got up to the window I got my drink and then was handed the incorrect size for my son-a kids instead of a small. While it' wouldn't be a big deal for me, my son is on the spectrum and is very particular and I knew this change would not go over well with him and since I had ordered the small anyways and I assume paid for it I brought it up to see if it could be fixed. A short, heavy set Hispanic girl with glasses, who I regularly see working there in the morning time was off the to side on the tablet while this was going on. The worker at the window told me they would change it to a small, while she decided to butt in, roll her eyes and loudly say "No, if she wants a small then you better refund her and then charge her again for it." She said that's what the owner would say to do. It couldn't have been more then a dollar at most difference and nothing to have such a nasty attitude about. At this point, I just wanted to get out of there, so I told them to just give me the incorrect size that was made even though I ordered and paid for something else. So the only reason why I'm saying this is because it happened a couple of times I get in line there's a car in front of us and the car either works there or had work there because they sit and talk to the person in the car for like 5,10 minutes before moving onto the next car mind you there's other cars in line Then it comes the window and there order , after they have there order they sit there and they talk to the person at the window for 4 to 5 minutes after the fact mind you there's about eight or nine cars in line.
