The ginger lemon tea: I asked several times does it have caffeine in it. One employee said no and the other said check the menus. Upon checking the menu, it did not say. They still could not provide me with an answer as to if it had caffeine. After making my tea and pastry I waited an additional ten minutes for my matcha, the person making it was socializing, checking out a new item for their bathroom and leisurely making my matcha. After about 8 minutes he finally looked at me and asked was I waiting for something. Matcha: the matcha was not great, it had a cleaning solution taste to it. That's pretty much all I can say. Coffee cake: the coffee cake was good but it didn't say anything about having a filling in it. And it was filled with some brown filling. And I'm not a fan of fillings in pastries.

It's in a small shopping center at the north limits of the Crieve Hall neighborhood. You can normally find a parking spot in the lot or if you know someone in the neighborhood, walking is an option too. Walk in and order at the counter. Be sure to check the available bagels that day AND any specials, especially the cinnamon bun special. Every time I have been, the staff has been extremely helpful as you navigate the choices. (note - there is a separate window outside to pickup online orders, delivery orders etc. so that helps with inside congestion). There is almost always a line but it moves quickly. On my last visit, they had just completed the March Madness bracket and were featuring the Cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese- $1. As I said, always check the special! They will feature some interesting coffees, bagels varieties and let's talk about the Cinnamon Roll. The first time I sampled the Cinnamon Roll special it was a blueberry pancake version, imagine an amazing cinnamon roll(yes, it's sweet but not overly and has great flavor), with blueberries and cream on top! The only downside is they are very large, but that means you get one to share with your people. Their bagels are really good! You can eat them plain or get some spread for them. (note that bulk bagel orders are not sliced). They also have breakfast sandwiches. To top it off, this has the feel of a real neighborhood spot. Plenty of folks greeting each other, friends connecting, families gathering. Indoor seating with books for the wee folks and some outdoor tables too. I usually transfer the pho to my own bowl at home, and I think slightly undercooking the noodles would really help it hold up better for delivery. The fresh spring rolls are good, but I'd love to see more of the other ingredients and less noodles inside. The sauce is really good. The taro boba with coconut milk is hands-down the best drink! It's creamy, flavorful, and not too sweet. I haven't tried adding extras yet, but I'd prefer an option to add extra boba from the app next time. Hubs and I walked around the store looking at all the different items. I picked up feta cheese, fresh pita bread and package with two pitas that had a coating of zaatar. I was looking for what my friend in California called Lebanese pizza but didn't see any. This store has fresh halal meats and most everything needed to prepare foods. I didn't see fresh vegetables. When we came home, I opened the two pack of zaatar coated pitas, warmed them up and served them with fresh feta and my own homemade Shirazi salad and the pitas were fire! I will buy them again!!!
