Terrible terrible and total waste of time. Came here twice in a span of 2 hours. First time, the line wrapped all the way around so we didn't get to go and now the second time the line wasn't as long. Waited for about 15-20 minutes only for the guy to come and tell us that if we don't make it to the runner by 10 pm we can't get a order in. So basically you take chance. How is this fair? If we're in line before 10pm, we should still be able to order. The line was moving slow, there was only one runner taking orders. They turned away more than 6 cars, I've never experienced this "service" before. I went to the Dutch Bros In Sacramento and I can tell you that they're WAY BETTER. They're super busy but they got more than 2 people outside taking orders and making sure the lines move smoothly. Never coming back here again. read more

It's been mad hot as of late B. I'm pretty sure all the coffee shops boba tea joints and ice cream parlors have had their work cut out for them these last few days in the "East Bay". I'm not one for coffee, but after seeing my "Yelp" friend "Tiffany D." Always make the drive from the "South Bay" all the way here to get her fix, I knew it had to be special. "Dutch Bros" isn't your run of the mill coffee shop, they do it with a pizzazz all of their own. Now let me tell you why one sip of their coffee made hit a "Shamone" and "Hee Hee" one time.. "Dutch Bros" Location - Oakley, Ca Drink - The Billy Jean Price - $7.80 Dutch Bros: "Dutch Bros" has been making a statement I the "Yelpire" . From what I could tell, their locations are few and far between. People seem to really love this place equally when I compared locations. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not really one for coffee. When I do have an urge though, I usually turn to "Peet's Coffee and Tea". Needless to say now, my mind has been swayed. So my "Yelp" buddy I mentioned earlier, she was kind enough to send me a few snaps of other menu items they have at "Dutch Bros". We were talking about the establishment and I got asked why I haven't gone yet? Well seeing we just had one heck of a heat wave this past week, I figure it was finally time to visit. Pretty quickly after looking over the menu she sent me, a drink called "Billy Jean" caught my eye. I know it's not the "Billie Jean" that says she was "Michael Jackson's lover" but I could totally dance like him, it was time to make this "Billy Jean" my lover. So the next day I made my way to the "Oakley" location and I ordered my drink, Large and Blended with a drizzle of Caramel which came out to $7.80. let me just say, when I took my first sip I knew why this place had a line of cars, and the nearby "Starbucks" had none. I was like "Left Foot Up, Right Food Slide, Right Foot Up, Left Food Slide" Yes this drink was off the hook, of course I added the caffeine :) So, this "Billy Jean" was basically a "White Chocolate Mocha", with "Coconut" flavor added. I'm glad I added the " "Caramel Drizzle" kinda brought a different flair to the drink. I have to say along with the great service at this location, I was all around impressed. In Closing: The best part about my experience with "Dutch Bros" is the fact when I was ordering my drink, guess what was playing on the outside radio of their establishment.... "Billie Jean" I kid you not, that was like a sign I needed to Forsure have the drink. This location sits right off Main St, in Oakley right off the freeway before you cross the Antioch Bridge. I say if you're in the area I recommend this place 100% I forsure will "Toosie Slide" aka "Moonwalk" on back and try more drinks. read more

If there's one thing I love more than coffee, it's Dutch Bros coffee! The boys and girls working are always so friendly and personable. I love when they give out the monthly stickers, I give them to my grand babies. My favorite is the 911 Just kidding! I'm too old for all that caffeine. This store is not prepared for high demand. Employees are always dilly dallying together to take orders. Waited in line 30-40 minutes today to be told the system is down, we can offer tea. While waiting in line, the two female Broistas were taking one order at a time before they came out to take another, they did not try to take my order until I was next in line at the window. I will not be making my way back here, you're better off taking the extra miles to the Brentwood location. read more

There are many choices and combinations to select from their menu. My favorite are: Annihilator, Crazy Hawaiian, and Grasshopper. Went up to the walk-up window, placed order for large hot mocha coffee. There were already 2 persons ahead of me (NBD) maybe 20 cars in line. about 10 minutes later one of the persons received their order and another person walked up to the window and ordered. About 10 minutes later the person who just ordered received their order while the one person & I were still waiting. I was like WTF just happened? About 5 minutes later the other person waiting received their order. Me, still waiting 15 more minutes. I asked about my order and was told I ordered behind all the cars in line and had to wait my turn AGAIN WTF the cars were all done and more arrived and was told NO YOU HAVE TO WAIT. The gal at the window proceeded to argue with me about how I had to wait, I had been there by this time over 20 minutes and she was like no you haven't!!!! The line behind me (3 more people) I stated I was not letting anyone order till I received my COFFEE How hard is it to make a coffee and wait 30 minutes .... NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GO THERE. Dutch Bros over Starbucks any day. Came here for the first time and the guy helping us out was super friendly and helpful. He recommended his favourite, the Double Torture, which my cousin got while I got the Cocomo. We got a size medium and it was SO filling but SO good. The coconut flavour makes the drink pretty sweet in the Cocomo while the extra espresso shot gives more coffee flavour to the Double Torture. If you like the flavour of coffee, I recommend adding an extra shot. The guy there even checked up on us to see how we liked our drinks after when we were drinking at the bench. Best part, if you buy 10 drinks you get the 11th free with their stamp card. read more

I am not a coffee drinker so in general I don't go to places like this but my daughter went there with my friend, got hooked and made me go. I have actually never been to or have even seen a drive in coffee place and had no idea what to order so my daughter ordered me an iced chai tea, they asked if I wanted a "party on top" and of course I said YES! Who wouldn't. Just for the record, a party on top is whipped cream, sprinkles and cinnamon and it was really good, so good in fact that I went back a few days later and got another one but this time without the whole party thing. I'm not sure what else is on the menu but I'm definitely going back again and again for the iced chai tea and you should too! read more

I'd have to say this Dutch Bros is probably the best out of all the Dutch Bros I've ever been to. You get the great drinks but its the people who makes it a step ahead of other establishments. This place was right across the street from the hotel I was staying at. It made it convenient and I chose Dutch Bros versus the Starbucks which was in the same complex as the Best Western Plus I was at. This is a smaller Dutch Bros - and they're all small. It is in its own little island with two entrances. What I don't understand is when there's a long line for the drive through why people still sit in their cars versus just going outside and standing there for their drinks. You're wasting gas people!! The parking lot is pretty large considering this place is a to go coffee shop. There are 2 benches that you can sit at, but no one does other than to wait for your drinks. My first instance of this Dutch Bros was at 5:30 am on a Saturday morning. They open at 4am I believe. We went there to grab some coffee, my wife was in a wedding and to go get her makeup done. She was first in the bridesmaids. We ordered our drinks and then asked the barista to write on one of the drinks "bride" for obviously the bride. She said she would be happy to and even gave us a stamp card that was full of stamps and with a note to wish her a great wedding. That was really sweet. Our second instance was nothing out of the ordinary. The drive through line was long, we parked, ordered our drinks, got them and went on our way. I will always pick going to Dutch Bros versus other coffee establishments. This one is ahead of the curve. read more

Dutch Bros is a great place for a quick cup of coffee. It is a drive thru kind of place either in a car or as a walk up. They have whatever coffee drink you want whether a super sweet vanilla latte or that caffeine boost of a cappuccino. Don't like coffee, they have other options like smoothies, tea and hot chocolate. As for food, they have granola bars and muffin tops. The muffin tops are the best because let's be real, who wants the rest of the muffin. Yeah im done coming here for a while. The quality of the drinks i order get worse and worse every time i visit. I ordered a blended 9-11 and it was basically all ice, very little drinkable coffee, definitely not worth the price. They were cool enough to make a different drink but sadly it was really disappointing as well. Tasted very watered down for a coffee drink. I absolutely love Dutch Bros. I'm from Hawai'i but I've always heard great things about this place and I was really happy when I found out there was a location in Oakley because I really wanted to try this place out. The service here is always on top of it whether they're busy or not; everyone's usually friendly and fast! You have the option to walk up to their window and order/pick up your drink or go through their drive thru. Aside from service, the coffee is great! So far, I've tried the Dutch Freeze, Caramelizer, Mocha French Toast, Dream Weaver, Birthday Cake, S'mores, and Snickerdoodle. My favorite so far is Birthday Cake cause it has the right amount of sweetness. I usually like to get my drinks iced and occasionally as a breve (steamed half n half). I recommend getting your drink as a breve if you don't like the strong coffee flavor. All in all, I always try to stop by here whenever I get the chance; their drinks and service definitely never disappoint! read more

I had been to this particular location only 2 times, but they are Super friendly and have really good coffee. The drive thru always has a long line, but they have a quick, but serviceable staff. I went to the walk up window on last visit and as I mentioned they are super friendly. I had ordered the Annihilator which has White Chocolate and Macadamias. The coffee is super strong but not too sweet. I don't usually go to Oakley, but if I'm in the neighborhood, I stop off at this drive thru anytime. I was a huge fan of Dutch Bros loved it, but they decided to take my cherry does soda out of the menu and it really disappointed me and for that reason is why they get a three not to mention those long lines they could switch it up and make their little area bigger so they can have two drive-through lane slowing but yeah, that's a little ridiculous in my opinion but hate people love their coffee and then wait it out. Love Dutch bros! Way better than Starbucks and the coffee actually works! The staff here is always super nice and actually want to work. If you ever need help or suggestions on drinks, they know what to recommend. Honestly, all their drinks are good and each time i enjoy what ever drink I get. My all time favorite drinks are the strawberry banana smoothie (parfait style), blue raspberry Dutch soda with a splash of cream and no whip cream, & their layered caramel macchiato. I suggest trying these if you don't know what to order. I'm so happy we have a Dutch bros out here, not only are they delicious but their pricing is very affordable compared to Starbucks. I had to walk up in order to see the menu clearer without feeling rushed to pick what I want. The menu that's in store is MUCH smaller than the menu I saw online, but when I asked they said they can make it all. I ended up getting a sugar cookie latte. -Sugar cookie Latte: 4/5 It's Almond roca, vanilla and white chocolate. It was simply delicious and refreshing. You would think with those flavor it would just be the taste of sugar in a cup but the coffee taste is pretty strong. I enjoyed it and it kept up with my coffee needs. -Service: 5/5 The two guys that helped up get out drinks were so nice. They asked if it was our first time and I jumped for joy and told them how i've been dying to come here and they were so happy for me that they gave me and my best friend each a stamp card with all the stamps except for one! The hype is real!! I was in the Pittsburg area so I decided to take a trip to Dutch Bro's Coffee since I'm usually not in the area. There was a line (probably waited 10mins) which was fine so I can search up the menu while waiting. However, my phone couldn't get any serve (AT&T) so of course it was my turn to order and I didn't know what to get.
