This was my second visit to TNT Smoothie & Juice Bar. I'm really trying to support local businesses and was hoping this would become my regular smoothie spot, but this visit was disappointing. I ordered a large Peanut Butter Bonanza ($11.86), which I enjoyed last time. When I asked to enter my phone number for rewards points, the man helping me (who said he was the owner) told me I could enter it after paying. That didn't make sense, and there was no option to enter my number afterward. It felt rushed and dismissive. Customer service was also lacking -- no greeting before I ordered my smoothie, no smile, and no thank you when I picked up my order. He placed the smoothie on the counter and walked away without offering a straw or saying anything. The smoothie was good, but the experience wasn't welcoming. Not sure I'll be back. read more

I was downtown for the Easter event and this place was a stop on the map for the activities. It was my first time there and a smoothie sounded sooo good since it was quite hot outside. I decided to try the Blue Cin. Ingredients: blue spirulina, pineapple, coconut, banana, cinnamon, chia seeds & oat milk. I also added an immune support boost for fun (and also because it's cold/cootie season) Let me just say wow!! The smoothie was super tasty and perfect for a warm day. Very light & tropical. There's a lot of options on the menu, so it was hard to decide which one to try. Blue Cin was a good decision & I'll definitely go back to try the other flavors! WOW. What a hidden gem! I was around the area post op and wanted to have a smoothie. I found TNT on a whim and found the flavors delicious. I wasn't able to see the inside as my partner ran in to pick it up, but he said the ambiance was clean and the employee (possibly the owner) was extremely sweet. Also i would consider myself a smoothie connoisseur.. i know what notes i like and the blue cin was definitely up my alley. IT IS AMAZING!! 10/10 no notes. What is it that makes it taste exactly like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk?! I was fully amazed and downed my smoothie quiiiick. I added some almond butter to it too and it was one of the best treats I've had. We also tried the Gold N' Green which was extremely refreshing and a perfect touch of greens. I'm so excited that we found this spot you have no idea lol. I'm used to city prices so it was nice to get something more reasonably priced. I think this is one of the best smoothie places in the Bay Area. Because of my work, I travel to big cities like San Jose and San Francisco very often, and I haven't found any place that has a smoothie flavor that really clicks with me. I'm very picky about smoothies because I often drink them as a meal replacement at home. I've done a lot of research and experimented with all kinds of ingredients to create my own recipes. For the longest time, I preferred making smoothies at home because I couldn't find a place that I truly liked. But when I tried one of the smoothies here, I thought, "Dang, this is worth coming back for!" Since then, whenever I have a little extra time, I stop by and treat myself instead of making a smoothie at home. Blue Cin is my favorite smoothie here. First time here, I wanted to try this place since we don't have many smoothies and açaí and chia bowls business in the area. Customer service was not what I expected, the gentleman that took my order couldn't hear me , and I don't blame him they had music and blenders going very loud, obviously he wasn't gonna be able to hear me, once he could hear me I gave him my order a Orange juice and ginger on ice , which he said they had no ice for that ... I would assume they do since they do drinks, I asked to try the chia based and he did gave me a sample but seemed annoyed by my request. Once they called my order the young lady was nice but the gentleman was telling her in front of me to use my name (she didn't ) I get they are probably all new and they are training but it was a bit awkward. This happened on Saturday....I placed my order and paid for it in cash. My bill was $21.66 so I gave the girl $25 in cash. She hands me back $3.00 and tells me "here's your $3 back, you have 34 cents credit" (first red flag). I was surprised so I asked for my receipt, sat at the table while waiting for my order. As I looked at my receipt, I noticed it did not indicate at all that I had a "34 cent credit" (2nd red flag). When the girl called me to pick up my order, I asked her to explain to me what she meant by me having 34 cent credit and how would I redeem it in future visits? Then she told me that "it really isn't credit, we just don't carry change/coins in the shop at all. I was flabbergasted being a business owner myself. I informed her what she was doing was illegal, I asked if they had a sign stating, "exact change only" to inform customers they don't carry coins/change, she replied "no". I asked her how long this has been going on, she said "we've never had coins/change" (3rd red flag)". By this time a second girl came out from the back. I told both those girls that the owners of TNT were having them running their business doing illegal financial dealings. I ask them to think about if they went to buy makeup at Ulta and the cashier treated their cash payment the same way, would they just walk away from that business or would they feel like it was illegal and unfair to keep their change? They both understood at that point. I demanded a full refund and told them I will be filing a complaint with The Better Business Bureau and the Antioch Business office, which I will. It's a damn shame to have to encounter this from an Antioch Community Business right on G street the heart of Rivertown especially since they are trying to revitalize the Rivertown small businesses. We have lots of community events that bring money into small shops like TNT Smoothies. it's not a good look for the G street community. read more
