My daughter loves this place, so when we were in Phoenix last weekend she made us stop by - it was so good we had to stop at the one Oceanside on the trip back and it was even better! 20 minute wait in the line, but no big deal and definitely worth it! My fave coffee is finally in San Diego!!! Dutch bros has such a broad menu, so I always recommend for folks to take a look beforehand. You first pick the kind of drink you want (like a lemonade, a freeze, cold brew, etc) and choose a flavor from there. Some drinks can be made as different kinds (like a frost without caffeine or a freeze with coffee) so I always recommend leaning on flavors you like as a starting point. Dutch bros normally has a wait, especially at locations where there arent many around. So be prepared in case it does take a while! Walking up is faster than drive through at this location. This place has SUCH good customer service! I love every employee I've encountered so far both during their soft opening and their grand opening today. The service is always awesome and fairly quick, with really friendly baristas. The drinks are pretty solid, with a wide variety of options and modifications that you can make. And the overall vibe here is a lot chiller than say a Starbucks drive-thru, despite there sometimes being long lines that snake through the parking lot. Excited to see Dutch bros coffee in Oceanside near San Diego. We don't have Dutch Bros in West LA. The last time I had their coffee was when I visited Portland. Apparently that is where they originated. We got the americano and nitro brew. It was pretty good with a lighter roast taste. Definitely tasty. The drive thru is usually super crowded so I recommend walking up to the window to order. We waited about 5 mins while the drive thru is probably a 15-20 min wait. So excited to have a Dutch close to me again! Since it's the first one open in San Diego it's extremely busy. I love Dutch coffee more than any other, but no coffee is really worth a 45 min wait in a drive thru line on the daily. Until more locations are open it will definitely remain busy. They do have the parking lot set up well for a drive thru line considering how many are in line. They are fast with their orders, it just may seem slow since there are sooo many people ordering. My favorite drink is the golden eagle (now on the actual menu) made with white coffee beans. The lighter the bean the more the caffeine. Love to get it layered. This one was a little more bitter than usual but still happy with it overall. Definitely the best drink of all time and keeps me caffeinated enough to only need the one for a day. Every time I come here they're not even paying attention. Throughout my waiting time I was met with three different employees saying that my order will be right out. I didn't get my order until 10:24. i have only been here twice. Both within about a week of each other. Even though it's more of a drive thru location with walk up. Both times had a variant of the chocolate crunch. second time it was the cold brew version and was very watery. Only drank it because it was cold and we had gotten on the freeway. Other people in my party had the Golden eagle, cocomo and crunch freeze. those were fine. Probably come back because I want to try more flavors. We need some locations in Orange County. We accidentally stumbled upon this yesterday! Cannot believe it recently opened but soooo excited we finally have one here!!! SERVICE - Dutch Bro always seems to have really great service. They hire such kind people. I have never had bad service at any of the Dutch Bros I have been to in other states. DRINKS Chai - I always get this with extra cinnamon sprinkles. I never get anything else and their chai is so good! I get the large and though it's huge, the drink is easily downed.
