It was my first time going Dutch, and I wasn't wowed out of my socks. I ordered my goto beverage, a hot mocha and it was delivered to the window in a friendly manner. The mocha was good, but not great. I was hoping for something better based on how people go crazy AF for this place. I did use the walk-up window as the drive-thru was kind of a cluster with two lanes merging into one and no real sense of ordering with a speaker, then picking up your order later. Maybe I missed something. Service was friendly, it took about 8 minutes from when I ordered until I got my coffee, which is probably on par with a busy Starbucks. WOW! My second time to a Dutch Bros. First time was another location. Today was here on 7962 Bandera. Went through drive through for a $50 gift card for a good friend and coffee connoisseur. While in line was approached by Paul. Asked for him to suggest a coffee for myself and he was extremely knowledgeable and informative! Not to mention excellent interaction skills. Drove up to window for my purchase and another employee who had several silver rings on his hand that were cool looking and he was a clone of Paul in the respect of customer service! The customer service of the initial person who took our order was very sweet and nice. My dad order some suggestion the employee made and I ordered a simple Lavender Lemonade (having had it before and loving it). When we got our drinks, I noticed mine looked like a plain lemonade and I mentioned that to my dad. He then proceeded to ask if that was a lavender lemonade being that he's never had one and didn't know what it was supposed to look like. He thought I had possibly been mistaken but I told him it has a purple-ish color to it. The girl checking us out had asked the barista and then decided to lie outright to our facing saying "yeah, that's the lavender lemonade!" I told my dad just to drive off cause it wasn't worth the argument. Very disappointing that this location lies to people. It could've been a simple resolution or an apology and we would've went about our day. It was the principle of it all and I will never come back to this location. I've had no issues so far, and they're always polite when I request light ice (something that doesn't happen to often at other Dutch Bros). Coffee is always good and the staff is very friendly, but I don't understand the point in ordering ahead on the app when I'm giving a pickup time and I still have to wait to get to the window then they start my order. Them bringing it out to me in the line only happened a hand full of times and is very inconsistent. If they could do better with the order ahead orders and bringing out the orders like they are supposed to so that order aheads do not have to also wait to get to the window this would be a 5 star rating. read more

Dutch Bros are popping up everywhere in San Antonio. This Leon Valley location has been around for a while now, and it has never disappointed us. On my most recent trip, I decided to veer from the usual fare to see if they could handle an off-menu request. I ordered a sugar-free German chocolate freeze with a sugar-free picture-perfect swirl and whip cream topping. Easy Peasy. We were greeted by a young man and his iPad outside taking orders and had but a short wait at the window. My drink was made to perfection, and I ended the night with a guilt-free indulgence. Right now, this location is about the closest to me until the Helotes location opens, so we'll continue to visit I encourage others who did not have a positive experience to try this location again, as perhaps they have worked out the kinks they may have had. So, it was my first time, there and I had a free medium drink offer. I walked up to the window and there was Ava, smiling and saying a friendly, "Hello!" I told her I was a newbie and had an offer for a free medium drink and she was thrilled. She asked me all of my likes, and said she could recommend, or make me something custom. I operated for the second, because why not? She was so fun and I felt inspired. I knew I wanted a freeze, and said after that you take the reigns, to which she did. I had a white chocolate, macadamia nut, freeze with a soft top, inside the cup was drizzled with caramel and chocolate. It was very flavorful, sweet and tasty just as I asked. I would withhold on the caramel, just because I don't really like it. But I'll be super happy to return, and start trying new things! Nothing to do with the service, but I wish they had a few tables because where the walk up window is there's a cute little set up. All in all it was a great first experience! Swung by my local Dutch bros this week since they're popping up everywhere and I haven't tried them before. I went through the drive through and a really nice girl was there to take my order. I told her I've never been to a Dutch bros before and asked what she recommended. She recommend the golden eagle which was white chocolate macadamia and chocolate milk. It was good but not necessarily my type of coffee. All the options seemed more sweet. They did have some other options I want to go back and try, and I would definitely support this place because of the customer service I received and personalization from the employees. read more

This is a new location in Leon Valley. I've been to many other Dutch Bros. This is the worst. Not enough staff to make the drive thru flow go.
