I'm super fortunate to live within 1-2 miles of 3 Dutch bros locations. This location is probably the cause of my addiction (going there almost every morning for the last two years- it's a thing for me). I like the location of it because it seems like one of the few locations capable of accommodating the magnitude of customers Dutch Bros draws in every day. And the people working here are the best- always super friendly, sociable, and it's not uncommon to see them leaning in cars hugging people, chattin, whatever. It's impressive how much interaction takes place & how fast/efficient they are. No one enjoys being miserable at work, and it's equally unappealing going somewhere with employees that just look miserable. The employees that work here- despite it being 120 degrees out, having a never ending line of cars/ people at the window- they're in good spirits, bringin up the fact that they're getting a great tan, or the busier the better because time flies by, or whatever. It really is a shame that I've never written a review about this place. I've loved the coffee here for quite some time. Personally, this is the best cup of coffee in Phoenix. I don't get the 5 dollar coffee-bombs, I get the traditional old fashion regular coffee with half of it being decaf. The baristas in this location are FAST, efficient and provide decent service. I have to dock them 1-star because most of them do something that is highly annoying to me. I hate being called "girl". I'm probably old enough to be some of those kids mom! I don't look it. I always get the same thing when I go to Dutch bros, the annihilator. Get your mind out of the gutter! It's not too sweet and you can still taste what coffee is supposed to taste like. I highly recommend it. If you are also craving for something to eat, I totally recommend the orange and cranberry muffin top! This is the best Dutch Bros I've been to so far in AZ. Because of this shop, I've switched from a casual Starbucks drinker to a few times a week Dutch Bros fan! I love their iced black tea with no sweetener (it has an after taste of peach) and their frozen German chocolate cake drink (great for the sweet tooth lover). The black and white hot chocolate is amazing, too! They're always friendly and actually like talking to their customers. It doesn't feel like a forced conversation like some of the other branches. The coffee is good. The service is too good. Low stars because it's one hell of a trip when you go and the line has three cars in it but it still takes 15 minutes to get through the oh e due to the window person talking EVERYONE's ear off. This is a regular occurance to the point where it isn't worth the stop when I have to be somewhere like work or class. I stopped this morning at 7:42. I got in line with 4 cars in line and was able to leave at 7:59. This wasn't a case of multiple drinks. This was watching the window person hand the ONE drink off immediately after receiving payment and watching them talk for another few minutes. This happened for each and every car ahead of me. I get it you want to be personal and intentional with your conversations with customers but understand that everyone in line is fustersted waiting for their drink while Chatty Cathy has some poor sap in a conversational headlock. read more

First time coming through and the young man was very clear and easy to understand. Very helpful and listened to what I wanted and offered perfect suggestions. When I went to hand him my credit card, he said since it's my first time it's free. I insisted but he said it's the rule, first times free. How on earth are more places not this awesome. And as I am finishing writing this right now I am pulling up to the window. I can smell the coffee, amazing!!! Go here! Got the coffee. The young lady went even further. Told me how she is just getting inspiration for other coffee creations. Asked if I wanted it stronger. I declined adding that this was perfect! Seriously, I wish I had cash on hand to throw a tip. But I am tempted to go in and see if I can buy them anything there. Though I have my doubts they will accept and they probably, being that they are all employees, either get super discounts or even get some stuff they want free. But I hope the gesture is acceptable. Again, I can't recommend this place enough. As someone who avoids Starbucks like the plague, I can only wait, wish and dream for Dutch Bros to get to Houston! One last thing. I love this place. It is more than a drive-through place to get your coffee but an experience and an adventure. The wait staff come out to your car and take your order on a tablet and then they ask how your day is going and what your plans are for the day and how your family is and all kinds of things and they seem completely sincere in their inquiries and their responses. And then you wait briefly in line and go up to the window to get your order and again you are greeted by an extremely friendly staff member who seems sincerely intrested in your day and your life and they make you just want to go back for more. And the coffee is also good which makes it even better. This time we tried the coffee cake which was a recommendation from one of the staff.
