This Dutch Bros location is out last stop on the way home from Las Vegas. It's not too far off the freeway. The street is pretty busy but usually a nice person will let us in turning into the drive through. The baristas are always friendly and enthusiastic (as is known to be expected from Dutch Bros). The service is usually fast and correct. Honestly nothing to complain about. We have tried the other location at the other end of town but we usually go to this one out of convenience. I do miss being in the Pacific Northwest, and I will always and forever equate that Oregon/Washington area with Dutch Bros. Getting in to the shopping center is a bit difficult. The line is usually pretty hectic so plan on being there for 15 to 20 minutes and longer if they're giving out stickers or merch. The employees are always efficient and friendly. The drinks are delicious. There's definitely something for anyone and there's many options to customize your order. Ordering ahead is helpful when you've got somewhat of a difficult order or several drinks but the drinks are rarely ever ready by the estimated time. The area is a bit sketch. My younger brother, picky on coffee felt his coffee needed to be stronger so they gave him a free drink and remade him a new one. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and... I thoroughly enjoyed my drink a "cookie butter latte with pumpkin soft top & cinnamon" which I got 50% sweet and with oat milk and honestly it couldn't be more perfect! Living in Santa Monica, I don't have a location nearby, so when my sister and I were on our way from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, we stopped in Victorville for gas, and I was thrilled to see their sign. Without hesitation, I made a U-turn and headed straight to their drive-through. I ordered the Golden Eagle and was pleasantly surprised by the generous size of their drinks--much more significant than what you get at Starbucks or Coffee Bean. The taste did not disappoint either; it was smooth, flavorful, and precisely what I needed for the long drive ahead. This Dutch bros used to be so good but for the past year I have yet to have a good experience with it. The coffee always tastes burnt, the cold brew is like water with a hint of a coffee bean dipped in it. There's no point in doing mobile order because they're always 15 minutes behind MINIMUM. I like getting the iced cold brew with a soft top cream foam. When they put cream into the actual cold brew itself, it's a bit too much cream for me. Also, I recommend the Kicker and the regular Lattes. Everyone goes for all the flavored drinks, but the regular espresso drinks are actually really well made too. More like a 3.5 star experience, as I felt the overall service was definitely lacking and the coffee was nothing too special (but not bad tasting either). I heard of the hype that is Dutch Bros all the way to Orange County, and thought it might be the perfect time to try this brand out. The selection looked interested, with Dutch favorites that had unique combinations that may resemble the menu at Starbucks. I ordered the protein coffee iced, and the associate explained it's basically coffee with 2% mixed with whey. The coffee itself was not very strong but at least the milk and whey paired well and did not seem grainy (like some poorly made protein shakes). The wait was atrocious though...I did not do the drive thru and ordered at their small window that allowed for people to walk up. It took at least 10 minutes for my coffee on a late Monday afternoon, which is impressive that they have that kind of business in the middle of the day but also left me to wait without any shade or cover standing awkwardly at that small window. They did not take down a name or call by order number, and I actually had to go up a couple times to check if my drink was ready. Really annoying, and really impacted the experience. I guess if you use drive thru, it may be better. Also, I didn't like how the menu was not clear on pricing. Apparently there are other smaller sizes available, but they only show the price for a 24oz drink. Lack of transparency, slow service, and OK product means I'll probably just go to Starbucks for at least quicker service. read more
