Great little hotel / bed and breakfast located close to everything, outside of the hotel is a old historic frame home with two other buildings on site clean and well kept, the staff are nice and accommodating, the room was the Amanda suite which is the first room down stairs by the front door, room was clean no odors Ac worked very well tv was decent many channels to choose from, bed was comfortable and sturdy, has small closet with suitcase stand and small frig with coffee maker, bathroom was nice and clean updated and was great the out side area around the pool is secluded and inviting with a pool if your looking for something close to duval st in the keys and to relax this is the place would stay agin without hesitation had a great time p.s has free parking but is a block away but easy to get to and safe for your car

We booked this hotel at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised. From the check in to leaving was flawless. The room was super clean and the common area is well taken care off. It is relatively close to everything and parking was included in our rate which is not typical of a lot of hotels in KW. Breakfast was also included which was just enough. We stayed in the Marlin room and upon departure we were greeted by vomit in the ice bucket . I guess someone across the hall had too much to drink. I was surprised to find it cause there are cameras in the hallway. Needless to say as disgusting as it was I wouldn't hold it against them. Just Don't use the ice buckets!!!

Great accommodations and location a few steps off the epicenter of Duval Street. This was my second visit to KEYW in as many years; initially I was disappointed I was unable to secure lodging at another inn I stayed with the previous year, but sometime things happen for a [good] reason; this was to my advantage. After looking at their website, I called Duval Inn and spoke with owner Corey and booked for 5-nights. I was on a budget and booked the least expensive room. I arrived and met Corey who immediately upgraded to a more expensive and deluxe room for the same price. I enjoyed the continental breakfasts; and the complementary happy hour provide the opportunity to meet the other guests and share information and experiences. The entire staff -- especially bartenders Roy and Fritz -- are very personable and make sure you have a good time. I will look forward to staying at the Duval Inn my next visit to KEYW.

Cameras on parking lot do not work per owner - park here at your own risk

Park here at your own risk.... My car was hit and keyed overnight at the hotel's parking lot. There is no dedicated parking lot for this hotel. The adjacent lot is public parking which I am assuming used to be owned by the hotel but was sold to the city for public use. The hotel's parking lot is two blocks north and shared with a 2-3 other hotel properties plus a restaurant. They basically cram as many cars into this small lot to support 3+ hotels and the next door restaurant. I filed a police report that morning and requested the property owner to provide the surveillance to find out who keyed my car. The property owner's response was that the cameras' were not working even though there were signs clearly stating that the parking lot was camera monitored - plus the maintenance guy said that they do work. The owner would not talk to me directly to help me file my police report and instead made his front desk staff deal with it, which their response was "sorry, nothing we can do." We were originally going to stay an extra night here but decided to book at La Concha - they have their own dedicated adjacent parking lot with valet service. Long story short, if your car gets hit or vandalized on their premises, you are SOL as far as getting any assistance from management. As a Key West newbie, lesson learned. Avoid this hotel and its sister property Pegasus International. Look for other hotels that do not cheap out on parking and end you up with a damaged car.

Room hasn't been deep cleaned in several months as dust and trash underneath the bed. Ceiling fan and blades layered with a coat of dust. Small pool was constantly filled with debris from the overhead tree shading it. Large constant running exhaust fan borders the pool area so having a peaceful rest there is impossible. Last straw was having a huge whole in my shower towel which wouldn't even be used in a homeless shelter the last morning I was there. Management is uncaring and indifferent as they are laughing all the way to the bank with your money. Book @ your own risk. You've been forewarned my friends.

8AM Same wet pool covers since we've been here! Smell and are wet and dirty!!

Property does not have one consistent vibe, but it is closest attributed to South Beach/modern. Rooftop bar has live music in the evening and good drinks while overlooking Duval street. Breakfast selection is good, but if you are used to complementary breakfast through the Marriott status, then you are only offered eggs, bacon, granola, and toast. Sadly the bacon was stale (we were one of the first, if not the very first to order breakfast, so it being completely cold and stale tells me it's not from today). We asked for coffee at breakfast and were pointed to the coffee station on the front end of the bar. Just drip coffee, nothing special. No milk, alternatives or honey, just cream, sugar and stevia. That part could be improved for it being about $400-$500/night. The room itself is decorated well and clean. Plantation shutters look great, but they do let in light in the morning since hotel doesn't have any curtains. Walls are thin as we heard the phone ring, but turns out it was our neighbor.

But then they showed us their rooftop bar (live music!) that overlooks Duvall St. so now that's our go to spot to drink and people watch. See you there!

I like that I received a text from them early on our check in day and asked when we'd be arriving. We were a little early but our room was ready when we arrived. The lady working the front desk was very nice and check in was quick and easy. The guys working valet are top notch. They were quick and friendly. Even when I forgot to get something from the car and needed it again. I walked to it, but they offered to get it. The cleaning staff was friendly when we saw them in the hallways also. We book a King Pool view room and it was clean and spacious. It has a small fridge, coffee maker with pods, a pull out couch and 2 chairs at the desk, and a tv. The bed was firm but comfortable and the pillows were nice. The only thing I could see is the at the hallways of floor 2 needed some patching and paint at a few areas. We will definitely come here again on our next trip, soon.

The property is filled with hammocks and tree swings, perfect places to drink your FREE coffee or tea from the lobby every morning. You know what I loved more than all the free beverages (lol)? The fact that we visited in the middle of summer and didn't get bit by a single mosquito! How is that even possible in Florida during summer??? They must spray & have mosquito repelling plants. Or super powers. Our room was cute and clean. We got the standard room (no upgrades) after the Hyatt screwed up our reservation and we were scrambling to find accommodations last minute. But ya know what?! This place was so much better! I can't rave enough about Eden House. We are definitely staying here when we come back!

On top of that the room is almost closet sized with an exposed shower and sink which makes it feel very humid in the room. Theres barely enough space between the bed and wall to walking into the room. The shower also hadn't been cleaned with a piece of old soap stuck to the floor and bug crawling under the pillow when i moved it.. I brought it to the attention of the man working the front desk who first told me it was a queen. The GM came on later that evening and admitted that it wasn't a queen and offered us a slightly larger rom but same size bed. Again the sink was in the room and it was stuffy and humid which made it hard to sleep more than four hours. I canceled the room after one night and tried to get my money back, but they've refused. Do not stay at this hotel. The "queen room" is basically just a hostel at hotel prices. $260 a night in my case.

I chose a poolside room (shared balcony). I was given room 3 and I loved it. :) There is plenty of room for two people. The bed was so comfy and the pillows were perfect. They have complimentary water (2 bottles) in your room. They have a mini fridge and options to buy snacks and liquor. They have fruit infused water next to the pool daily. You will stay hydrated. There is an honor bar next to the water; which has a few pricy options for a beer or other canned beverages. I did see plenty of people have their own drinks poolside. So, outside drinks are allowed at the pool...but no glass. They have two pools. I preferred the pool towards the back. There are lush beautiful plants all around you and you'll often see little lizards scurrying by the pool. They did not have a late checkout for my room but they were nice enough to hold my bags and have use of the pool while I waited for my friends to arrive. I would stay here again but during high season, the rooms get expensive. I loved room 3 but would love to someday stay in the cute cabin looking rooms up behind the pool. They have a covered porch, sitting room m, and a large bathroom. Overall, the service was solid. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, the bed was amazing, and the pools were a lovely respite from the crowded streets and heat of the city.
