PTO is a mess too--every time I didn't feel well, it turned into a big issue, even though I always worked overtime when asked. After I quit, they didn't even direct deposit my last paycheck--they mailed it without warning. That tells you everything about how this company treats its workers. It should take a note that I have dialysis on Tuesday, Thirsday & Saturday per week at 9:00 AM pick up time & 1:30 PM dropping time. The Pick Up address is Alvista Tower 7P, 147 36, 94th Ave. Jamaica, NY 11435 N.B.:- You should maintain the pick up time according to dialysis center's fixing time to continue dialysis starting time accurately due to three & quarter to four hours dialysis period per patient. If you fixing for drop time 1:30 PM within next 15 minutes of. dialysis dressing & last weight check up on exit point of Dialysis center. It is normal. Please do not take advantage of time on your side half an hour as there is a gap of one hour for appointment time to time in case of normal patients visiting for primary care doctor or even eye doctor. Despite the terrible phone etiquette, he explicitly quoted me a guaranteed flat-rate of $170 cash for the long-distance trip. On the day of the ride, the scam began. The driver sent a link where the screen suddenly showed $200 instead of the promised $170. Then, once he actually arrived at my house in a black Toyota Highlander SUV, he aggressively changed the price yet again, demanding $250. Because all of my heavy bags, my mom, and my sister were already packed and trapped, he blackmailed us into paying $80 over our original phone agreement when we had no other choice. To make matters worse, the driver mentioned his daughter went to Princeton University, so you would think he would have some empathy for a stressful college move-in day. He didn't care at all. The moment we arrived, he completely refused to lift a finger to help us unload. That ride came 45 minutes late! The wheelchair didn't have the foot pedals on so the elderly passenger had to keep her feet up. Then the wheelchair lift didn't work properly in the van. We were late to our hospital procedure. Would have been better off in an uber! Tried to get a credit and they wouldn't call me back. Find someone reliable if you need medical transport!
