Haifa Warm Hummus
Angelina E.

We always have our company lunches at Dvash and always leave with our bellies full and satisfied and a leftover box in hand! On this specific day, it wasn't too busy at the restaurant, which was surprising, because it's always very busy here. We always make sure to make a reservation. We always order the shishito peppers. It's served with crispy bread and a garlic aoli on the side. This go around we decided to order the Haifa warm hummus that is topped with sautéed eggplant. Their pita bread is some of the best pita I've ever had. It pairs so well with the hummus. I could've eaten the whole plate of hummus myself! For my main course, I ordered the quinoa salad topped with chicken shawarma. I think this will be my go-to salad order from here going forward. The flavors paired so well together. The salad included quinoa, cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley, onions, feta, roasted almonds, and cranberries. The ambiance is nice, with inside and outside seating, and the service is always kind and quick! They're very good about clearing plates before the next course, and they're always refilling our waters when needed.

DVASH AVOCADO TOAST

Some of the best Mediterranean food we've had in a long time. Service was wonderful, they were all super friendly and helpful. Inside had some lovely music playing. Couldn't ask for better!

This place is AMAZING!! This was my first time, and now I will forever be coming back. Family owned business started in Parkland as "falafel bistro", and the owners are super sweet (Lauren & Ilan). Super cute to dine in, and they even do take out (highly recommend). The food was to die for. I wish I had more pictures, but it all speaks for itself. Below are some of my favs from the night, but I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Best apps: - Portobello hummus or the tomato garlic hummus (seriously worth the money to get a hummus, it was the best hummus I've ever had) - Beef arayes (get this!!! My friend ordered it, and it ended up being my favorite part of the meal, which says something bc it was all great) - Hazelnut burrata Best entrees: - chicken parm (I know they're not itlalian, but one of the best chicken parms I have ever tried) - chefs burger (caramelized onions, Brie, and garlic, seriously so good) - chefs salad with grilled chicken Dessert: - the carrot cake!! Pro tip: if you're there when they have a chicken hummus mix (shawarma, Jerusalem, or schnitzel) on special, definitely get that!! (A regular, Michelle I met at the bar, told me it's one of the best) I also saw they have great lunch specials & happy hour, so I will 100% be returning!!

Lentil Soup

Dinner at Dvash was intentional, soulful, and beautifully composed from start to finish. DVASH is located at: 8208 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33434 We began in the Hummus Corner with the Haifa Warm Hummus, featuring sautéed eggplant and roasted pine nuts, served with pita and pickles. The hummus was creamy and rich with gentle smokiness from the eggplant, while the pine nuts added warmth and texture. The pita was incredibly fluffy and light, warm and pillowy, perfect for scooping. The sour pickles on the side were excellent, bright and crunchy, cutting through the richness of the hummus beautifully. The Soup of the Day was a lentil soup special, and the portion was so generous that we probably would have been better off splitting a cup instead of ordering a bowl. Even splitting a bowl, it felt almost like a meal on its own. Hearty, deeply filling, slow cooked, and well seasoned, it was comforting and substantial in the best way. Chef's Cauliflower was a standout. Perfectly roasted so it had that lightly crisp edge with a tender center, then paired with beet tahina, roasted almonds, golden raisins, and sesame. The beet tahina brought an earthy sweetness and creamy depth, the almonds added crunch, and the golden raisins gave little pops of sweetness that balanced everything out. It is one of those dishes that feels both bright and comforting at the same time. We also ordered the Beet Carpaccio, omitting the parmesan to keep it vegan. Thinly sliced beets were tender and naturally sweet, paired with roasted pistachios and micro cilantro. Even without the cheese, the dish was vibrant, elegant, and beautifully textured. For the main course, we had the Tofu Jerusalem Mix, served with quinoa. The sautéed tofu with onions, mushrooms, and Mediterranean spices delivered bold, savory flavor, while the quinoa made the dish grounding and satisfying without heaviness. Everything we ate was fully vegan, though it does not have to be. This is a restaurant that can be enjoyed by vegans and non vegans alike, making it an excellent choice for a mixed crowd. The menu is thoughtfully designed with many plant forward dishes, and several items can be easily adapted to suit different dietary needs without sacrificing flavor or experience. Beyond the food, we noticed the We Will Dance Again sign displayed inside. It was presented with respect and care, felt rooted in remembrance and humanity, and did not come across as political. A quiet and meaningful presence in the space. Dvash delivers food that is balanced, flavorful, and intentional. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and deeply satisfying. A place that feeds both the body and the spirit, and one we will absolutely return to.twd -- at Dvash Mediterranean fusion.

Fig & goat cheese flatbread

With so many Mediterranean restaurants nearby, which one should we choose for dinner? Based on recommendations (and great Yelp reviews), we went to DVASH in Boca. Excellent choice! We had a group of 6 people and split several appetizers and main dishes to create a tapas-style dinner to be able to taste a variety of items from the menu. Appetizers included two types of cauliflower: Chef's cauliflower with a tangy bbq-style date sauce, which was delicious; and roasted turmeric cauliflower with a delightful beet tahini sauce. We also shared grilled mahi bites, which came with a "mashugana sauce". Translation: crazy. Taste: terrific! Next up was a fig and goat cheese flatbread. A tasty dish although the ratio of fig to cheese seemed too low. Bring on the figs! Although the menu features 5 different types of hummus appetizers, we opted to have the hummus which came with the shakshuka. This entree was voted the best bite of the night. The spicy, sauteed tomatoes with poached eggs and crumbled feta cheese was a hit. We ordered extra pita bread so we could dip the bread in the yummy sauce as well as in the hummus. The shrimp cilantro skewers with grilled asparagus and couscous was also very good. We had difficulty removing the shrimps from the skewers though. The mahi mahi shawarma with jasmine rice was delicious as well. The tofu Jerusalem mix with quinoa was a bit disappointing as it was a bit dry and could have benefitted from some sort of sauce. Our server was attentive, patient and very accommodating throughout our dinner. He asked if we had been there before and when a few of us said "no" he offered us a free dessert to share. Since we couldn't decide between the carrot cake and the bread pudding with halvah, we ordered both. The bread pudding was declared the crowd favorite. So glad we were able to enjoy this dessert so that we know to order again it the next time we visit. The place was busy on a very rainy Monday night, which was our first indication that it was likely to be a terrific meal. And it truly was. The only downside was the music volume. We enjoyed the lively Israeli / Middle Eastern music, but the sound level was just a bit too high to allow for quiet conversation at our table. Overall, a great dinner at relatively decent price for Mediterranean food.

Chef's cauliflower

Came to Dvash on a Friday evening. I do recommend trying to make a reservation if you can. Its not a huge place, but it fills up fast. We had to sit outside but luckily the weather was tolerable. We ordered the chefs cauliflower, truffle and fig goat cheese flatbread, shiitake dumplings and whipped feta. The whipped feta was nice and creamy. The shiitake dumplings were unique. Pan seared and stuffed nicely. The fig and goat cheese flatbread was a wonderful combination. All the flavors balanced themselves out nicely. And finally the chefs cauliflower was probably my favorite. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly and the flavor was a combination of salty and sweet. With the food and two soft drinks, the total came to 98.45. The reason why I gave this restaurant four stars instead of five is for two reasons. The first being that the service is lacking. We didn't get any refills while we sat there, and also the food comes out as it comes out which isn't explained at all. Also, the prices are astronomical. Whipped feta for $25? Cauliflower for $22? While I certainly enjoyed my meal, the prices are egregious.

Shishito peppers
Mary M.

I really enjoyed this spot! Tucked away in a strip mall, you'll find a spacious, clean, and contemporary restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We had the shashito peppers as well as the burrata to start. The shishito peppers were good but not the star of the show. The burrata on the other hand... yum!!! The garlic bread that came with these two dishes was incredible. We finished with the lamb chops that came over a bed of flavorful mashed potatoes with some asparagus. The mashed potatoes were really good and the lamb was cooked very nicely. Excellent customer service. Sadly only snapped a photo of the peppers, but loved everything!

SCW and I went to DVASH while staying nearby. We got there right as dinner service was starting and I'd recommend booking a reservation before you go. We just wanted take out and were given menus and ordered quickly. The food was ready in about 20 minutes and I sat down watching the restaurant fill up quickly. SCW went a few doors down to shop so I waited for our food. The interior is really nice, inviting and clean. Our food was ready and off we went. Our food consisted of falafel, pita, tahini spread, pickles, a tofu burger with chips and burrata. We liked everything but noted most everything had a good deal of olive oil to it. I was disappointed by the tofu burger as it really lacked in flavor. Just very bland. Room for improvement there. I'd certainly give DVASH another try in the future.

Tumeric Cauliflower! So delicious

Wow, what an outstanding restaurant. The moment you walk in to the time you leave, you are treated like family. The service spectacular, the food out of the world. My new favorite restaurant FYI, the portions are huge . My main dish, I starting eating, before my picture so left it out.

We were very happy to return to DVash after a very long hiatus with our clients. We all love to eat Israeli/Mediterranean food and this is definitely the place to do that. We sat inside for the first time because it was another hot evening in Boca. The interior is lovely. They have booths and tables and chairs to dine at. I loved their sign recognizing Oct 7 - "we will dance again ". Paul ordered a red Sangria and we shared a platter of very authentic hummus with roasted eggplant and onions on top with hot pita bread. It was luscious! We totally cleaned that plate. Two of us had the MAHI MAHI SHAWARMA 38 Grilled, on top of sautéed onions with mediterranean spices. Served with jasmine rice or hot quinoa. It was perfect and a very nice portion. Paul had the GRILLED LAMB CHOPS 44 Roasted garlic mash, grilled asparagus, mint pistachio. I saw that he totally enjoyed it. Lastly, our friend ordered the TOFU JERUSALEM MIX 32 Sautéed tofu, onions, mushrooms, mediterranean spices. Served with jasmine rice or hot quinoa. He didn't stop saying how much he loved it. We also had the Halava ice cream which we shared. There was plenty! This was a wonderful dinner and I must mention that it was noisy but not unbearable like some other restaurants we've recently frequented. So I just moved DVash to the top of my list when I long for Israeli cuisine.

Dvash is one of the most unique and delicious spots to pop up in Boca in a long time. I've been several times (twice for dinner and at least 4 times for lunch/brunch) everything on the menu is extremely flavorful and fresh. It's a tiny place with inside and outside seating. I highly recommend getting a reservation especially for dinner as most nights they are booked solid. There is a bar with seating as well. I've tried many things on the menu and nothing has disappointed. Their hummus is amazing! It is the most creamy tasty hummus you've ever had and they have several preparations with roasted eggplant, mushrooms, lamb etc. Their shakshuka is a favorite of mine for brunch and their sandwiches and burgers are out of this world. Pro tip ask for their spicy sauce and slather it on everything. They have lunch specials which include an entree salad/soup and a drink or wine. They also have bottomless mimosas or bellinis for brunch. Service has always been amazing during my visits. Dvash is definitely a gem in boca. Try it you will not be disappointed.
