Hands down my new favorite Mediterranean restaurant! Nice ambiance minus the tiny table for one to two ppl; if you want to sample many things it becomes cramped. My server was super knowledgeable; I appreciated his suggestions and his desire to ensure I enjoyed everything I ate/drank. The food was amazingly good. The fresh pita bread with the classic hummus (best I've had) was a total win, add the pepper jelly like condiment to it created a kaleidoscope of flavors in my mouth. I literally wanted to sit there the whole night and just eat that. Eventually I added Whole Branzino and Summer salad. Tried the special 'bitter' cocktails, they were very good but not my favorite; I'll have to acquire that taste some more. Returning in a couple weeks. Can't wait! AVOID MOTEK BOCA RATON AT ALL COSTS. I made a reservation and provided my credit card as required. Approximately 90 minutes before the reservation, Motek texted me to say the restaurant's air conditioning was not working. I canceled only because of the conditions they reported and specifically asked for confirmation that I would not be charged the $40 reservation fee. Motek assured me in writing that I would not be charged. They charged me anyway. Since then, I have sent two emails, left five voicemails, and made approximately 20 unanswered phone calls. Not one person from the restaurant has acknowledged the issue or offered any assistance. I have now been forced to open a fraud claim with my bank. Even more disturbing, my bank informed me that Motek apparently processed the charge as a recurring monthly payment--not simply a one-time reservation charge. I never authorized Motek to establish recurring payments of any kind. Charging me after explicitly promising not to do so was unacceptable. Refusing to respond after dozens of attempts to resolve the issue has made the situation even worse. I will never give this restaurant my business, and I will actively warn others about this experience. Any establishment that requires access to customers' credit cards should be held accountable for how that information is used. Based on the unauthorized charge, its apparent designation as a recurring payment, and management's complete failure to respond or be reachable by phone, web, or email, I strongly recommend avoiding Motek Boca Raton. read more

Recently went for brunch and will definitely come back for more! Started with the most beautiful fried artichokes I've ever seen--the leaves were spread like blossomed flowers which made them so delicate with a light crisp. The heart was rather small but it was deliciously paired with a cilantro lime aioli and a fresh squeeze of lemon. We also had the French toast and a creamy mushroom truffle toast, both with thick slices of Japanese milk bread. These were both generous portions and quite filling. I especially loved the mushroom toast was loaded with mushrooms and full of umami. This restaurant is a very good family style Mediterranean establishment. Prices are a little steep, but what do you expect for Boca. Service was great! However, I would only go back if someone else is paying the bill. There are several yummy Mediterranean restaurants within the area for a third of the cost. I find this restaurant to be trendy for influencers getting likes. This is just my opinion as everyone has one. Again, I think it's a place you should definitely try at least once and if you like it, go back. I've only ever gone here for their happy hour menu, but at five dollars for drinks it can't be beat. I've been to several of their locations and this location was lively. Absolutely phenomenal, must-try restaurant! The moment you walk in, the energy is undeniable, the decor is relaxed Mediterranean chic, and the music selection is a whole lot of fun. It's most definitely the beach vibes you would want out of a South Florida Mediterranean restaurant. The staff was super attentive, welcoming, and efficient which is exactly what great hospitality staff should be like. And the food... absolutely delectable. We ordered the pastrami pita (flatbread) and tuna tartare for the table which were both stupendous. The tuna tartare was refreshing and light while still packing great flavor and the flatbread was super well balanced and delicious. My husband ordered the ribeye on bread which was a smoky carnivorous dream and right up his alley. And I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich which was perfection, every part of the sandwich played a strong role in making the whole a perfect bite. The broccolini was also very tasty, it had a good amount of smoke to it and great crunch. It is most definitely a must-try restaurant if you haven't tried it yet, our only negative was that it was definitely rather hot inside the restaurant. Motek Boca was the choice for a much needed catch up with a girl friend. This stunning Israeli restaurant is a Boca highlight. I walked up to a beautifully decorated patio with shading and comfortable seating. As it was a nice day, I chose to sit outside. In true indecisive girl manner, it got a little too hot for me. Adrianna, my server, gladly lead me to a table inside and introduced me to Christian, my new server. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous, spacious, clean and smelt amazing. For cocktails, I highly recommend their Jaffa Spritz and Baharat Old Fashion. The menu is family style so everything is meant to be shared. The food was fresh, delicious, filled with flavor and gave off a mouth watering aroma. The service and ambiance here was perfection. Went for happy hour! Amazing selection of eats and drinks....even though they did run out of a few items, the overall experience was worth the 40 minute drive for me. Our server, Nico tried his best and at times seemed a little distracted but overall he got the job done and for anyone that knows Motek, knows that the ambiance does transport you...definitely making you feel as if you left Florida and dining in a foreign land. Amazing lunch, service, ambience. Met a friend for lunch who had been here before , and my first time in Boca. Kaylee was an incredible server-/ attentive, friendly, and explained how the menu and service worked. We ordered and kept ordering and Kaylee offered lots of advice/ help with some of the items. My husband had t stopped raving about the hummus and baba ganouch, saying it's the best outside of the Middle East he has had. We had a bunch of other dishes, names I don't remember, but everything was fresh, healthy and delicious. Salmon and chicken shawarma kabobs, falafel, drinks, etc. We sat on the spacious patio, but the inside was elegant with a beautiful ( and busy) bar. Photos don't do it justice. HORRIBLE DON'T COME HERE! The hostess heard me speaking Spanish on the phone, took one look at me, and immediately said they had no availability. When I questioned her attitude and pushed back, she said I could either sit at a high-top table or be placed on a waiting list. Mind you, I could clearly see several empty tables inside. I explained that I have a bad back and cannot sit at a high-top table, but she still made no effort to accommodate me. I was prepared to spend a considerable amount of money, but instead, I'm on my way to Houston's, where I know my business will be appreciated and the quality of service is always superb and consistent. It's a shame because I loved their Aventura location, but as the company has grown, its customer service has clearly declined. Have been hearing about this place, all amazing things. Finally got to try it. We tried making a reservation, but it was full, and this was on a Tuesday. So, you can tell it's popular. Waiting time for a table was 1+ hour, but the outside bar area was open so we sat there. The bartenders were amazing. So friendly, nice and quick. Our drinks came out in no time, again, while having a full house. Food came out not too long after and I have to recommend their hummus, and the crispy eggplant. This was my second visit to a motek location and it was just as memorable and delicious. The Boca location is definitely bigger than the Miami location but has the same vibe. The drinks were so fun and yummy and the food was better than i remembered. We started off with the za'tar labneh with the pita - this was sooo good and not overly yogurty tasting. We also ordered the Moroccan fish, arayes, and crispy cauliflower. The fish was so flavorful and had a kick but we loved it. Honestly everything was so unique and so good. I would recommend everything we got especially the arayes, but you can skip the fries. We ended with the sundae with vanilla and Nutella ice cream which was awesome. It is really big but so delicious. I definitely will be back as they also opened a location in New York but I would want to go with a big group so we can order a lot of the menu. We came here for lunch the other day and someone told me that the chicken shawarma bowl was fantastic so I had to try. They were kidding! This bowl is loaded with flavor and had such an amazing balance of protein, veggies and their amazing hummus. I was totally blown away by this bowl and I found myself wanting it the rest of the week. I've been wanting to try Motek for quite some time and I finally got the opportunity to go by this past week. First impression upon walking in: wow this place is crowded! Like, it's a huge restaurant to begin with and I literally couldn't believe there were so many people seated inside and so many people on line waiting to get in. For a Tuesday it was a bit crazy. Anyway, after a brief wait, the hostess took us to our table and our waiter quickly came over and introduced himself. He then went on to explain the entire menu to us for some reason, which was completely unnecessary and a waste of time. Once the waiter moved along, we had a chance to review the menus ourselves and take a look around the restaurant. Unfortunately we, like all parties of 2, were given a tiny table to sit at. I'm sure it looked fine on paper for a couple, but when you consider that dinner here consists of a lot of different plates, tapas style, the tiny table really makes it a bit uncomfortable. I definitely was not a fan of the table size. Ambiance and service aside, we ordered a bunch of different dishes including a kebab, the hummus, a flatbread with cheese and zaatar, the falafel, a Greek salad, the muhammara and malabi for dessert. All the food was generally very good. The only thing I didn't really like was the muhammara which had a different flavor than I expected as well as a very astringent profile. Also the hummus was good, except they went way too heavy on the tahina. My favorite dishes were the falafel and the kebab. However, for the nearly $30 kebab price, they probably should have given two skewers. We got only one and it was a little bit light for an premium entree in my opinion. In the end, despite some minor criticisms, I felt like Motek was really solid. Five stars. I would absolutely head back to try more dishes and you should too if you're into Israeli and Middle Eastern food! read more

I have dined here several times and the service is always impeccable. But most importantly, the food is wonderful. Was recommended by several people to try this Israeli/Mediterranean restaurant. Was a bit crazy at the host stand. Lots of people waiting for tables. I didn't know it was Happy Hour from 2pm- 6pm! Anyway, we were seated quickly but so very close to another table that I asked to wait for another table. The decor is very lovely with a lots of tables as well as separate rooms for parties. There was a large bar as well. Now for the food- I ordered the salmon salad with watermelon & feta. Salmon was served separate from the watermelon- which I thought was good. Salad was fresh & so was the salmon. Hubby had fried artichoke & chicken schnitzel. All very yummy. I did taste the artichoke- & I enjoyed it. My only issue was that for my 1st time here, I didn't see the valet stand when arriving & that parking was difficult! I realize we drove in from another entrance. We did notice it on the way out. Came back here for my husbands birthday after a few months but we haven't stopped thinking about it since. We got pretty much one of every appetizer! Personally I didn't like the hummus. It was a thin hummus and I like a thicker one. The pita and the pickled veggies are my favorite. Just about everything we got was outstanding! We had an amazing server and the manager came over and was awesome! They sent over a dessert we would have never normally gotten, and ice cream sundae, and it was sooo freaking good! It was our first time . We started with the classic Hummus creamy and the best I have ever had, we also did the spicy ceviche was excellent but really on the smaller side. For dinner we tried the Branzino, the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwiches, Zataar Salad and we added Falafel not one complaint. Our drinks were very good if there was a complaint the Martinis are on the small side. This restaurant sends food out as it is ready. The service was pretty bad. Girl with orange hair and glasses was working our table outside for happy hour. As it was my first time here I didn't really know what to order and had to ask what she would recommend. She recommended three options that were all fried and didn't really explain each item. She also didn't give us any recs from the original menu. I just feel like the service didn't live up to the food. And even then the food was good but our bill came to be pretty pricey in the end. This place is such a vibe, and the food was incredible. It's beautiful inside with a light, airy feel, and they also have a huge patio. They serve the best hummus I've ever tasted, and I've been to Istanbul for the real deal. I even ate their pita bread without getting a stomach ache, which never happens for me with gluten. If I remember correctly, they have it shipped in from Israel. I also had the chicken skewers, which were tender and full of flavor. The cocktails were beautifully prepared and seriously delicious. For food, we shared the hummus, spare ribs, and crispy eggplant, and everything was incredible. The crispy eggplant in particular is completely to die for and perfect if you want to order a few dishes for the table and share. But the real star of the show was the pistachio cheesecake. It was light, creamy, and fruity without being overly sweet, and easily one of the best ways to end the meal. Everyone needs to try it! Had a great experience at Motek! Came on a Tuesday night during Thanksgiving week, had a 7:45 reservation and it was PACKED! I was visiting from out of town, so not that familiar with the area so parking and finding the actual restaurant was a little confusing, would've been helpful more signs. Our server was great in explaining Motek's background and food inspiration, and reviewing the menu items. My friend and I both got the chicken schnitzel which was cooked to perfection, had a small salad on the side and a delicious lemony sauce for the chicken. I got a side of the fries and my friend got the lemon potatoes. Food was a little pricey, especially everything a la cart ($12 for the lemon potatoes, $9 for a side of fries, $26 for the chicken schnitzel which). For dessert I had to try the pistachio cheesecake and it did not disappoint. Very creamy and flavorful, loved the raspberries on top! Would highly recommend. read more

It's a beautiful restaurant, with branches and leaves clinging to the walls and ceiling inside, and a pretty space outside, with comfortable seating and lamps for each table when it gets dark. Service is super friendly. The food itself is phenomenal. Everything is pretty shareable, so we ordered a bunch of food to share for our table. The hummus is smooth and light. The Italy Oven Pizza is perfectly cheesy and comes with salt and oregano on the side to add to it. The Salmon Ceviche is smaller than expected but has great flavor, and I like that the salmon is cut into small pieces. The fries are also delicious. The drinks are just as good. Wow. Just wow. Came here for HH (only outside or high tops) to try out one of my favorite cuisines. I must say every single dish was delicious. Our server was a young kid sooo nice. The place is so cute, i loved it. Only thing for owners, the sitting outside in summer for your servers should have 20% added, the way this kids were suffering (amongst us guests too) with those hot AF uniforms. I don't know why you decided to do it like that without thinking of your employees/guests. The umbrellas arent big enough to cover sun or our non stop rain season. We absolutely loved this place. Chaz, our server, gave us the best recommendations and was always happy to help us with whatever we needed almost immediately. Shout-out as well to the manager D who was fantastic as well, I love to see active leadership who leads by example and help customers. The ambience is very high end and feels like a fancy restaurant as opposed to the Aventura one which feels more casual. The food was actually amazing. The new York pita with pastrami was a banger. The labneh that came with the latkes was like sugary strawberry cream cheese, delicious!! And the chicken snitzel is nicely dressed up on challah. The only thing that threw me off was the pistachio cheesecake, the rose sauce our table's favorite. Where do I begin?! Thank you Motek for a wonderful dining experience. Chaz (our AMAZING waiter) started our evening noticing that I was eyeing the Bamba (Israeli Snack) and brought me a bag to take home. Walking into the restaurant was like walking into Israel or Greece. It has beautiful decorations and ambiance. When we were looking an the menu, Chaz was incredibly knowledgeable of all of the menu items and had very helpful recommendations. Because of him we ordered the Zucchini Latkahs which I've had before, but never really tried them with the labneh sauce (tasted like strawberry cream cheese). They were delicious. We then ordered The New York (flatbread with pastrami all on the top) (See image below) Which was DELICIOUS. I'm very glad we tried it. For our entrees Chaz saved our (pardon my speech) *sses when he told us to only get on schnitzel sandwich instead of two, because they are very large. Low and behold it was and he just simply cut it in half for us to share. It was very good, but my favorite was already in my tummy. Then for dessert he recommended the pistachio cheesecake, which we sadly didn't like. The raspberry/rose puree was a little too rosy and gave it a soupy flavor. BUT before we ordered it the wonderful manager, D had came over and given us the pistachio VEGAN gelato that they're known for.
