Love this place. Great gyros at our local go to spot. Friendly staff, special gyro pricing on Tue&Thu, and your order is ready fairly quick. Very typical Greek gyro place as far as selection goes. The spicy feta is really really good! Also the dolmades are very tasty. The lamb gyro is a must try but if you don't want it on a pita you can order the Greek salad with gyro meat on top. The salad dressing is very tasty. If you haven't tried Souvlaki Fresh yet- go grab a gyro and enjoy! P.S. You can eat at the restaurant but mostly a take out. We ordered through there app and got $5 off. The gyro meat was freshly shaved and served in large portions! It was phenomenal. The fries were seasoned with a seasoned salt and the rice had some beans on top. The tzatziki and Greek dressing were fresh and amazing. The pita was soft and warm. I have no complaints. I walked into Souvlaki Fresh the other day and remarked "it's been quite some time since I've been here, it looks the same but the staff are different". And when preparing this review I noticed that there was one from me, 12 years ago! Wow, how could I have stayed away so long?? The interior is simple. Counters and bar stools. Tables for 4. Not many. And lots of pictures of scenes from Greece. And the menu on the wall, up high, with some photos of the various food items. Cold box with non alcoholic drinks. It was immaculate in the sitting area. And the area where the food was being cooked was also immaculate, salad prep area was neat and orderly. All staff weee wearing gloves while preparing food. The cashier, Jacky, spoke fluent English. The other staff might have spoken English but seemed shy. But when I asked if it was OK to take some photos and post on YELP,! They all said yes, and smiled. I hope I have caught those smiles as they were warm and welcoming. We ordered to take home. Most people entering were either picking up orders which were called in or placing an order and waiting, like us. We ordered falafel, which was tasty, but I thought expensive for their size and quantity (small and 6 of them). We also have the Chicken Souvlaki Pita and it was also tasty. The orders were packed neatly and withstood the 5 minute drive home. Next time we will order different dishes to see how they appeal to us. But I won't be ordering the falafel as it was just too small. Two little bites and it was gone. Parking is right outside their door and can be a challenge depending on day of week and time of day. The landlord used to employ a security guard to watch the vehicles being parked and where their owners were going. He would run after and say get out of that spot. It was effective. Many drivers would park here and then walk across the street to Mizner Park. They need rhat security guard back. Quick. I've rated 5 stars as the quality of food and severice warrants it. They dont even offer Tadziki sauce like all the other Gyro places do, and I did not see any tomatoes or cucumbers or onions in their Gyro but their Lamb meat is so so good, the Gyro is delicious with less things inside and no Tadziki sauce. The food here is really good and you get a taste of Greece while being in Boca Raton. This is a small shop that looks to be family owned. I did do a lamb and beef souvlaki pita. It was definitely worth the wait during their rush. They have a sweet Greek yogurt for a dessert that had cranberries, walnuts and honey. This is a small place so I wouldn't have a huge group of people. Parking here is limited so you may have to park in Mizner park. read more

Very Good. When I entered Souvlaki Fresh I was greeted by the Cashier. Very friendly! I ordered a Gyro Pita along with Greek Fries. The Gyro meat tasted very fresh and not too oily. Their vegetables such as the tomatoes, lettuce, and onions that came inside of the Pita had tasted fresh and delicious as well. Their fries were nice and crispy even 10 minutes after ordering. FRESH is a constant theme that you will find at Souvlaki Fresh ( I guess they live up to their name). Definitely coming back here again. This is my go-to place for greek food. The service isn't the best, but this is really a fast food place for greek food. You order & you get your food pretty quickly. In addition, the interior design is very cheap looking and basic. It honestly fits the whole fast food theme very well, and honestly it was surprising at first, but the design grew on me. The food is amazing. I tried a lot of different menu items, and it was delicious each time. My two favorite appetizers are spicy feta with pita and tzatziki with pita. For $5, it is always worth it. The pita is served hot and they give you a lot of spicy feta or tzatziki (whatever you ordered). There's more than enough dip to be left over for the next day. They also have gyro deals on certain days (fridays?), where the gyro is like $6. Their gyros are one of the best I've ever had. The meat is tender and the sauce really completes the meal. The gyro platter isn't my favorite, just because I rather have meat on a stick than cut up in small pieces. My favorite menu item is the chicken souvlaki platter because the chicken is tender, the salad is fresh, their rice is juicy, and their french fries are so seasoned that you don't need sauce to dip it in. read more

Lucky me even showed up on a Friday where they run a special for the gyro pita for a little over $5 and made it a combo for $3, I was in heaven. When you arrive in the plaza I'm happy to report that parking is complimentary (unlike the plaza in front of the restaurant). Walking up they have a couple tables outside and inside they do have a few more, but it would be a little difficult showing up with a group of more than 4. They have their menu posted on the left and the prices are very affordable for the amount of food you get. I ordered the Gyro pita with fries and a drink, as well as a hummus and pita appetizer. The hummus arrived first and its a GOOD amount of deliciously smooth hummus with a great authentic taste, my only thing is theres not enough pita bread with it...but its also less than $5. They have a simple yet option giving menu with different options of shrimp, falafel, chicken etc for gyros and pitas, hummus, salads, desserts etc. I tried the falafel pita and took it to go. The service was fast. I told them to put everything in it etc. When I got home I realized there was hardly any sauce. For the most part I felt like I was eating salad in a pita. There were maybe 2 or 3 tiny falafels in there. The freshness was there however in the salad and in the falafels. The falafels were not overly oily etc. If I go next time I will definitely pay extra for more sauce on the side (.50 cents extra) because it was a bit dry. Souvlaki Fast is a Greek/Mediterranean fast food concept. Service is great, friendly staff and the food is great! A variety of items to choose from. Order food up front at the counter, pay, and have a seat. Your food will be brought over. Ingredients are great, you can feel they are fresh. The place is painted in white, the color chairs give it a nice contrasting color. If you think about it, a white color is a very delicate color. You would notice spots on an instant, but not at Souvlaki Fast! Place is super white, lots of natural light coming in. Prices are very reasonable given the area they are in. After many delicious takeout meals from Souvlaki Fresh in Boca I felt it was time to give them a well deserved positive review. Last night I ordered their Gyro Platter. This container must have weighed two pounds! There was an order of Greek fries topped with feta under all that gyro meat and a Greek salad on the left. I'm convinced all the Gyro meat in the country comes from one place so the meat flavor was what you would expect which of course was very tasty. We had a small order of their chicken wings first (which we've had before) and they were surprisingly very meaty and very crispy.
