Even if you make an appointment, they will not service your car when they say they will. Even basic diagnostics apparently take them days to accomplish. Whether it's staffing issues, training issues, or just being "too busy" (their go-to excuse) it boils down to one thing: mismanagement. They will say one thing on the phone and another when you arrive when asked for a time frame for work completion. If you must use this dealership for service, come prepared for disappointment; have a friend follow you in their car, or be ready to call a Lyft or Uber, or you will be stranded for untold (literally - they can't tell you how long anything will take!) hours in their smelly, uncomfortable waiting room under ugly buzzing fluorescent lights. They may even hand you back your keys, after you've been waiting, and tell you to come back another time. Zero respect, zero concern. AVOID AVOID AVOID. read more

Made an appointment to look at a used vehicle on the lot that I'd been eyeing for a while online. Female salesperson was clearly inexperienced and honestly, not cut out for the job. Each question I asked, her response was like that of an annoyed teenager. Her 'sales questioning' was presented unprofessionally, and she apparently wasn't listening to my answers because she kept asking me the same questions, such as 'are you going to trade in your vehicle?' When discussing price, one of her responses was that it was her job to make the most money possible for the dealership....accompanied by the look of 'how could you not know this?' (Uh, yes, we know that, which is why most people despise going shopping for a car) How about replacing that with how you'd like to serve the customer's needs with the goal of them going home satisfied and happy with their purchase? When discussing price, rather than providing a value proposition, she argued, taking a confrontational, aggressive stance. Clearly this dealership needs to take more interest in training their people. Sales 101 is in order. Although, I don't know if you can train a personality into someone.... I walked out in the midst of discussions based on how incredibly rude this person was in addition to finance tacking on an additional 7k on top of the asking price, in response to a potential offer. Went down the street and bought a car the same day. Same make. Wonderful experience, nicer car, drives like a dream and an appropriate price. My truck has been serviced there for the last 4 years. They have always been fairly reliable. But at the end of May I scheduled an appointment to fix oil leak. Well they couldn't get me in until June 23 so I drop the truck off early June. They diagnosed it June 5th as a valve cover leak and on the 23rd for my appointment They hadn't even ordered the parts they needed to do the repair with. Because they kept saying parts were back ordered. Well on July 8 I found the parts myself at Ford Midway truck repair in Kansas City. They would FedEx them and they'll be here today. Ford can't get me in until August 5. I had an appointment on the 23rd that they weren't ready for and now they're pushing me out to August 5. I personally think that I should be next in line. I had to find the part myself. So to tell you the truth I don't think they have any mechanics. I was in there a couple weeks ago, and their shop looked empty. It was in the middle of the week I'm not sure what's going on here, but I am not going back. read more

Review for service department* Service staff was beyond unfriendly, talked down to me and told me there was nothing wrong with my vehicle after 2 months of waiting to get it in. My car has not been starting and shuts off while driving. As a former employee of Dwayne Lanes I'm disgusted at how I was treated by the service department. I had a pleasant experience buying a Used vehicle here. Salesperson was kind and helpful and we made a purchase. At the time of purchase everything was fine as we got the car home and ran the air and it sits in the hot sun it is obvious the car has been smoked in. My son is highly allergic. I contact the dealer and they offered to do nothing. I get that it is used and as is purchase but it would seem they would stand behind their product or at least offer to help get the smell out. Bought a new 2022 Bronco Wildtrak fully loaded. Ordered it online during the pandemic. It's worth more now than I bought it for new. Sales staff at the dealership were very friendly and helpful. It can be difficult to find a mechanic who will work on my Ford hybrid, and I am very satisfied with the quality of service, efficiency, and understanding I received here recently. My car was a safety hazard (brake issues), and I was able to book an appointment efficiently, they showed me the damaged element of the car instead of expecting me to just believe them without seeing, and gave me a loaner within two hours. Opinions vary but manipulating an original MSRP for a used vehicle it makes it no longer the MSRP, its not relevant as Ford is not setting the price. I consider it fraud to change an original window sticker and raise the price 20k above what it sold for new to justify gouging. Fine ask 200k for it but done modify the "manufacturer suggested retail price", this MSRP only applies to the vehicle when sold as new but the dealer makes it appear they are selling it for MSRP, which in this case is impossible for them because they would have to have integrity and not be gouging.... they wont show the actual window sticker they show a made up one...show the original and show your markup of 20k over the price when it was new, that would be transparent. read more

They screwed me on my trade in, by the tune of 10k, showing me a CarFax that my car had been involved in an accident by the original owner and said it had lost thousands of dollars in value because of it. The next thing I know they have my low mileage, "wrecked" Subaru sitting on their lot for $10k above what they told me it was worth. Never again. I hope it was worth it to them. I took my car in to check for a coolant leak. They kept it for TWO WEEKS just to say there was nothing wrong. My car overheated on the freeway and I found they had left my coolant cap off as well as left a greasy mechanics rag on the engine which was possibly close to catching fire. My car got so hot it melted some of the rubber trim off. Took my car in to be serviced later and was told it had so many oil leaks that they would need to take out and re-seal my entire system for $4,800. After tears and a lot of stress trying to save up the money among medical bills I finally took my car to another service station Vollan's, and they found a leak in the coolant tank and found out that my "multiple oil leaks" which I was also told were, "too many to count or be fixed" except by resealing the entire system for $4,800, was simply a loose oil filter. Vollan's charged $375. The guy said he'd never seen an oil filter put on so loose in his life. So Ford had not screwed on the filter properly when they did my oil change and then wanted to squeeze nearly $5,000 out of me for the pleasure. They were either lying or completely inept. If they cannot remember to screw coolant caps back on, pick up their rags, and don't even know how to put a filter on properly after a simple oil change, than they are not mechanics and I don't know what they're doing their except damaging people's cars and causing a lot of stress and bad feelings. (apologies to any good mechanics working there and overshadowed by the frauds) The tears and stress they caused me overworking myself amid health issues to try and save up enough money, as well as making me overheat in the pitch dark and cold on the freeway is horrible. On top of that they left greasy footprints all over my carpets which I still haven't had the money to get cleaned. I would just walk away but I don't want anyone else to get scammed by them. Everyone else I've talked to when I described what they said what they needed to do to my car for $4,800 used words like criminal, shady, and deceitful. I was told I could get a whole new engine for $800. This is criminal. And that doesn't include the trouble my parents have had with them. If one family has had this much trouble I can't imagine it hasn't happened to someone else. I tried to contact the manager, was told he was on vacation and never heard back. read more

Bought a used van from skagit ford, now the over all process being annoying dealer with the salesmen who was trying to push me into their financing the deal was slow but routine. I'd have given maybe 3 stars. That changed when I happened to pull I credit report to learn they ran my credit, I told them over and over. Do not run my credit. I have a check from the loan I acquired from my credit union. Date I was dropped off to skagit for signing and paying with my credit union issued cashiers check I was confronted by a sale manager while I waited to be called back to sign papers. He demanded I sign a 8300 tax for for cash transaction. I states it was not required. He Michael Credle told me. I have only one choice. And raft is to fill out this form with my SSN or I was not going to be allowed to by the van. I figured ok. It is an irs form. However I again stated. Do not run my credit! He left returned a few mins later and wanted my employment information. Again why? I wonder and ask. It is needed for the 8300 it's form. So after what took like 10 times as long as it should have to come in sign pay and drive I was finally off with my new purchase. Was not till a few months later in preparation to consider buying a house I pulled all 3 of my credit reports and guess what. Yep, the day I signed and bought my van skagit ford ran my credit. Upset I email the Credel the internet sakes manager. No reply. So I call the next day talk to booking keeping the pull my paper work. I ask her was a 8300 irs form filed? She said no. In fact no 8300 form was in my file. I then ask. Is my SSN on any form I signed or filled out? She said no and form where a SSN could be put in was blank. I said yes because I never gave it other than the 8300 form that clearly was not needed. I then ask why my credit was ran? I got transferred around. To sum it up, the manager I spoke to just said. Well. We dropped the ball. Would not tell me why it was pulled till I pressed. He then stated perhaps because they wanted to bet my financing. I stated I was very clear. Do not run my credit. I gave them a few days and we spoke again. He stated the finance manager was written up, stated Micheal Credel the internet sales manager that demanded I fill out the required 8300 form did nothing wrong and more less said he was a puppet and did what the finance manager tells him. He went on and on how this is not how they do business. They somewhere along the way dropped the ball. More or less no big deal in his eyes. Hmm. Fraud using a irs form to pull the credit of a customer that stated over and over. Do not run my credit is just a hiccup? If you have bought a car from the skagit stores ford subaru etc check your credit. If you are looking to buy an new or used car think twice before dealing with these completely unprofessional lying Immoral fraudulent people. Your SSN on any form is not safe with these guys. IMO kinda bold using a irs tax form to commit fraud, then just shrug their shoulders. Oh well. This is absolutely the WORST sales department I have ever experienced!...Sales Manager Michael Credle has absolutely no integrity, he promised to make several fixes/ repairs on the used Taurus I purchased...What a joke! There were 4 repairs promised, fix dent in drivers rear door (couldn't be done because paintless dent guy couldn't do it/no money in the deal to do so?)...send to body shop then! Align trunk lid, (Was already adjusted as far as it would go?...again, no repair)..send to body shop, they can do it! Car shook when test driving and was promised to have problem fixed...tires are cheap/poor quality?)...replace the tires then! Navigation did't work. This is the only repair that was completed and it was to simply install a navigation card which any teenager could do.....It's right in the console! 1 for 4, not a very good average, especially when 4 for 4 was the deal. We recently purchased a new car at Skagit Subaru. While we are so far happy with the car, we are not happy about the dishonesty we encountered at this dealership. I will give just one example: When we were discussing the price, we were told there was a $255 licensing fee. When we asked if that was the actual license fee charged by the state, the answer was an evasive "It changes from day to day." When we were signing the final documents, the total price matched what we had agreed on, so we did not examine each line. It wasn't until later that we realized that the license fee was only $105, and that the other $150 was listed on the line that says "Dealer Documentary Service Fee," with an explanatory note that this was a non-required, negotiable fee. We were originally told it was part of a required fee. This perhaps explains why the salesman didn't write up an official paper - just scribbled notes. read more

Had a terrible experience with Skagit Subaru!! first of all it took almost 6 hours to complete a deal for a 2015 WRX that I wanted to buy. Then, one week later they call me telling me THEY messed up the paperwork and I have to make up the $2,000 difference within 24 hours or they will come take the car back. I called the sales manager at Skagit Subaru and he was a complete asshole on the phone to me. He was impossible to work with and told me tough luck if you dont like it go somewhere else and they dont need my business as he continued to yell at me. To sum it up, the sales manager is a huge asshole, they told me the deal was set in stone and one week later demanded the car back or 2 grand in one day for THEIR mistake, etc. I went to Roy Robinson yesterday and explained the situation and they gave me a way better deal towards my trade in AND off the sticker price for the next model HIGHER wrx! much easier to deal with I STRONGLY suggest any and everyone to go to Roy Robinson Subaru over Skagit Subaru as they are much less shady and much more proffesional. read more

My husband was looking to buy a 2015 F150 last April. After looking around he was not able to find a truck with all the options he wanted at any dealerships. He went to Skagit Ford where they wrote up a build order for the truck he wanted. My husband put 500 down and was told it would be anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks. My husband was well aware of the popularity of this truck and resigned himself it would be the full 12 weeks. Well those 12 weeks came and went with no word on his truck. After many unanswered phone calls from my husband to Skagit ford our frustration grew. My husband finally reached out to Customer service for the Ford Company to try to get answers on where his truck was. It wasn't until August that someone from Skagit ford called my husband to say there was a problem and that his truck order was just mysteriously dropped. Even though my husband had been trying to get someone from there to tell him what was going on they never made the effort to get him answers or to even call him to say they were checking into it. It finally occurred to them something was wrong when a truck they had order for someone in June came in and my husbands was nowhere to be found. My husband decided to give Skagit Ford the chance to write another build order understanding that things can happen. He negotiated a new price after changing a few things. He was apologized to and promised that this time they would be talking to him so much more until his truck arrived. They never called my husband or returned his phone calls. Again once the order was in customer service was no existent. He even left messages for the owner and he didn't return his call either. Over the 5 1/2 months it took my husband to get the truck he ordered so much happened that brings us to recommend that you not buy from Skagit ford. We love the truck it's everything we wanted, although they did write the second build order up forgetting to put in one of the options he wanted and saying oh it's too late to do anything about that now. Our one major regret is that we bought from Skagit Ford. They did nothing to earn on cent from the sale of the truck. In fact it's been 2 weeks since we picked it up and my husband is still waiting to hear from them on some cup holders they were going to get him for all his troubles. Every person there promised to call him back and not one time did they. Think twice before you buy from Skagit Ford. They will tell you what you want to hear and after that there will be no customer service. read more
