Both were very pleasant and efficient. Spoke to another couple who have been using their service for about 10 years and they said the service has been consistently excellent. **WARNING**Do not buy a used vehicle from this place!!! From start to finish my experience was not a positive one and I wish I could go back in time and take my business elsewhere. Instead, I can at least warn you reading this to go elsewhere. Foothills Toyota sold me a used car with very low mileage for its year, but failed to complete the needed services due to its age before the sale. 90 days after purchase I take my car to a different dealer for an oil change, only to be told you need a 60k mile service at the tune of $1500+ dollars as the fluids and spark plugs in this car they sold you are old, they break down and degrade regardless of mileage (only 10k on car)and yeah, wow they should've done this service before they sold you this car as it was well due at that time and they knew that, it also costs them next to nothing in comparison to the consumer. (another trusted mechanic confirmed this to be correct, that I indeed need to do this service now) You should call Foothills and they should make that right, but they're probably not going too. Sure enough, I called Foothills and they said they'd have someone get back in touch with me. Got a return call from someone who spoke absolute broken English (INFURIATING) who I could barely understand. Terrible choice from a customer service standpoint to have someone who's extremely hard to understand return an already frustrated customers phone call, but they already have your money so what do they care, right? 1st he stated the "service wasn't necessary" and that the other Toyota dealer was just trying to "upsell me on service maintenance". Then stated that "we don't perform those types of service at this dealership anyway" I'm sorry, what?! So, every other Toyota dealer does this service, but not Foothills?! Get outta here! You just are an unethical dealership that cuts corners on used vehicles (unless it's a recall) and screws over your customers.... GOT IT. If you want a good laugh and facepalm, see attached photo from their actual website talking about the importance of the 60k service. I would HIGHLY suggest (even with the "low sales tax") you buy from a different dealer as in the end the couple hundred dollars I saved cost me $1500 right from the jump instead. SHADY Wave if you see me, I'll be the one driving around with the license plate frame that now says, " Wish I WOULDN'T have bought this car from Foothills Toyota" and you can save your generic "please get in contact with me" response you write on every bad review BTW to make it appear this dealership actually gives a **** about its customers. I am shocked by the absolutely terrible service experience from FOOTHILLS Toyota, relating to a blocked AC drain which caused flooding and mold to develop inside my 2024 RAV4 Hybrid purchased in March. A different Toyota dealership addressed the immediate flooding issue because I was out of town when it was discovered and they handled it as a covered service call. They recommended I contact my home dealership when I returned to finish the carpet cleaning and mold remediation - a major concern for me as a lung cancer survivor. Imagine my surprise when I contacted FOOTHILLS service department who then hemmed and hawed with a variety of excuses. After we had several back-and-forth conversations on the issue as well as the potential health concerns it presented, they blamed the delay on the central office and their determination of whether or not it was a covered incident. Eventually they wrote me an email saying the remediation will not be covered. Note that the other out-of-town dealership had considered it covered. I will say, the FOOTHILLS SALES team was great. Tanya and her manager provided excellent support during the sales and pickup experience. After my initial purchase I was widely recommending and singing the praises of the FOOTHILLS TOYOTA dealership. NOW - the FOOTHILLS SERVICE department has COMPLETELY ruined MY customer relationship. From a customer perspective, the issue was considered a covered one at one dealership and not at another. FOOTHILLS Toyota should have focused on the long-term customer relationship which has now been completely and adversely damaged. As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend FOOTHILLS TOYOTA dealership based on how this has been handled. The BEST SERVICE EXPERIENCE came from I5 Toyota in Chehalis who had immediately addressed the blockage. If I lived closer, I would gladly give them all my future business and recommendations. Wanted to buy a GHighlander. Placed $1000 down before the salesperson filled out any paperwork bc he said that is the first step to order a vehicle. I was going to them because as they advertise, they have the lowest interest rate. He reserved one for me whose VIN included the optional insurance on wear and tear. I let him know that is an option that I do not want. I've owned cars for almost 40 years and did not need $2,500 in warranty for scuffs He assured me that it was the only way that he could sell a car. I asked him to confirm. He came back two days later and said it is the only way to sell a GH???? Seriously! Who forces an option on someone that isn't even a physical value. Just an optional warranty. The young woman on the service drive, I believe her name is Autumn knows little to nothing about vehicle maintenance/repair. After waiting about an hour Autumn approached me to explain that the low beam light on the passenger side was out, something I told her while I was checking in. And then she said something to the effect of a list of other things, when I asked what the other things were she couldn't tell me but said a service advisor could. so I asked to speak to a service advisor who also couldn't tell me but wanted me to schedule the repairs right away. The customer service from the "Service Department" is seriously lacking. several days after my initial feedback I received a call from David Calloway (who only Identified himself as being from Foothills Toyota) and referenced that "George" had brought my initial review to his attention. Who is GEORGE? In his message he stated "I did a little bit of a deep dive and I'm like okay, some of this makes sense and some of it kind of doesn't...It kinda seems like they might have just thrown in some oil soaked components, so I'm not sure if all of those things need to get done or if it's just, you know, residual oil kind of leaking down. So I stopped in, walked the lot then entered the building where I walked end to end taking time to view the old Lancruisers. Not one employee made eye contact with me or spoke to me. two were seated at desks on their computers. I'm as solid a buyer as you get with impeccable financials. I suppose I could have requested help, and certainly don't like to be hounded, but a simple "hello, can we help you today?" would have been appreciated. This is one train wreck of a dealership. Called on a 2023 4runner and initially put a deposit down on that--- they charged "on accident" 3 times to the same card, all which were denied because they were entering the wrong zip code ! But rather then verify the zip, the reps just keep running the card until my card is maxed out . Long story short after 2-3 weeks of waiting on this car to arrive, they tell me to fill out a credit app online. I then fill out the credit app, and they inform me they never received it, turns out it was expired when they sent it to me . Great . So I fill out the credit app again, and this time the manager calls to ask if I have a WA license, as if living in another state is illegal. I happen to have places in 3 different states, AZ, KS and WA. The original sales rep knew all of this information and proceeded with the deposit process from the start. But after 4 weeks of nonsense from this dealer, showing nothing but complete ignorance throughout the process, stringing me along, they eventually tell me, "Sorry Sir, you don't have a WA ID , so we cannot sell you this car that you put a deposit on. Truly terrible and preventable experience with this dealer and a MAJOR waste of my time. Avoid at all costs and find one that treats people the same across the board, and sells at MSRP. This dealer jacks the prices from MSRP, leads people on, takes deposits and then refuses to sell the car, wow. There are much better options out there. read more

The staff at Foothills Toyota went out of their way to take care of the problem for us, even though it was VERY short notice. I am very disappointed with the service department with their dishonesty in recommending products that don't need to be done. A brand new truck does not need a new engine filter. My wife has a 4Runner and the dealership is always recommending a new engine filter on every visit for her vehicle ...even if I replaced the engine filter. My truck had an issue with low tire pressure. Service dept due to a tiny nail. Foothills Toyota said the tire could not be repaired and recommended I buy a $250 tire. I took the truck to a tire place and they repaired the tire at no cost. Tire place was shocked Foothills Toyota recommended a new tire!!!! I HAVE ZERO TRUST in Foothills Toyota. They recommended a $6000 replacement of the hybrid battery on a 2008 Prius. The car drove fine and when I asked why they felt a replacement was necessary, they could only come up with a code and no detailed data. I checked out the battery with the Dr. Prius app, and no problem was detected. They should have been able to justify such an expensive repair, but they couldn't. read more

Some serious updates need to happen at this place! My wife called on 6-17-24 to try to set up an appointment to get new tires on her car. Never got a call back. She tried again the following Monday. Never got a call back. So she went online and scheduled for 10:30 on 6-28-24. We got the ferry and headed over. We got a call saying our appointment was moved to 12:30. It took 2 hours to get new tires put on. When I went to voice my frustration Nicole said that she just got our voicemail! I cannot comprehend just getting to a voicemail 2 weeks later at a business of that stature! She then said that if we schedule something online it doesn't let them know that it was scheduled and that it's a flawed system. I again can not comprehend how in 2024 with a company as big as Toyota, that there isn't a system in place to make this blunder not happen. Then to add insult to injury they tack on a 3% charge if you use your credit card. Since most vehicle repairs happen unexpectedly people don't just have cash in the checking account to pay for that. If I could give minus stars to this dealership and salesperson I would. I have never in my life been spoken to so rudely or treated so poorly in any sales situation. From the start Tyler Huseman was condescending and rude to me and my 17 year old son. She didn't acknowledge my son or ask his name. We both got the very strong feeling that once she met us, she didn't really want to engage or help us. My son and I both felt like it was racial discrimination. When I pointed out that she didn't need to speak to me rudely, she became even ruder and walked away and shouted confidential information from my credit file across the dealership. Everyone was kind, they have answers to everything, they're detailed orientated and just have amazing customer service skills. I've come in to get dog lights installed, that was a breeze. Although there was an issue with my aftermarket head unit not working correctly (the USB was just unplugged when they took it out to hook the wires up), they got me in as soon as possible and resolved the issue. I once walked in for an issue during my lunch break, again, I was seen immediately and they went to resolve the issue. I was visiting from out of state when a little incident with my car happened at home. I called Foothills Toyota, and I gave them my story and issue. They were able to order the parts same day, get it delivered so I can get my car fixed next day. I would love to give a shout out to Danny in the service department for handling my car issue. I really appreciate what you did, getting me in next day and resolving my little problem. I would also like to give a shoutout to Brett in sales. He sold me my car, and he's sold my dad a car. Most of us have gone through the stress of buying new car and know the hassles that awaits. Unfortunately, I had to add the stress of finding a new car during the Covid-19 pandemic. My journey started as most, looking online finding dealerships close to me and looking at their inventory. Living in Shoreline and have two Toyota dealerships within 5 miles of my house I figured it would be easy, nope. Those two dealerships will go unnamed but after contacting them and requesting communication through text and email only I received phone call after phone call. This was even after I told them they didn't have what I was looking for. Since some dealerships were only doing online sales during the Governor's mandate I felt as though I was stuck either dealing with these relentless dealerships or just waiting. I chose to wait and see what came after the shelter in place was lifted. Week or so went by and I was talking to a coworker about my issue with those other dealerships and he told me I should contact Foothills Toyota in Burlington. Said he had a good experience with them, so I went to their website to check out their inventory and like most dealerships they were closed due to the mandate. To make it more disheartening at that time they didn't have the exact 4Runner I was looking for. I was ready to give up for now and wait everything out, but before I clicked the close button, I saw the contact us tab. So, clicked on and left my number and specified text message only. With in 30 minutes I received a text from their GM Tyler. After a few texts back and forth where he was upfront about not having what I wanted and not pressuring me with phone calls, he told me he'd see what he could do. Later that day I got text from him saying he had one coming in that fit my requests, but he wasn't sure on date because of the current Covid-19. He emailed me the build sheet and it fit my requests to the letter. A few texts later with pictures of my trade in, which he gave me a ballpark number on trade in value that he said he'd confirm in person, price confirmed on the 4Runner, my name was on it. Now it was a waiting game, which I was giving constant updates on delivery. Fast forward a month, my new 4Runner was delivered but still had to wait for the Governor's mandate to be lifted so they could open. Tyler texted me on 5-4-2020 telling me he could sell me the 4Runner on the 5th, I was there at 8:30am excited but also stressed because of past car buying experiences. We all know what happens they got you in the door, you just drove 60 miles to get there, here comes the switch-a-roo and pressure for extras. I prepared my NO FACE and ventured in where I meet Tyler and his salesman Ed and was ready to battle. Well people it never came Ed was a pleasure to interact with, no up sale, Tyler checked in, its was the best car buying experience I've ever had. They had all the precautions in place for Covid-19 they even gave me exactly what I was quoted for on my trade in. I was on the rode by 9:30am in a freshly washed vehicle with a full tank of gas, smiling from ear to ear. I would recommend Foothills Toyota to anyone. They treat you like a customer not a dollar sign and I could not be happier with my new 4Runner TRD pro in Army Green. Take the drive you won't regret it! read more

Best place ever!! We went in not expecting to buy a car. We were met at the door by Trevor. We had just came from the vet so we had our dog bear with us. We weren't sure how they'd feel about that but Trevor fully accepted him. He got to go on the test drive and Trevor made sure we got the room for our 3 dogs. We picked a 2010 chevy equinox, that we saw online. Financing was a little difficult but they somehow made it work. They got us a deal of a lifetime. We couldn't believe it and felt like everything was a fairy tale. The process took a little bit of time but they let bear hang out, drool all over, gave him water. The Gentleman that I had to work with was absolutely rude and condescending, and acted like a spoiled teenage child rolling his eyes and making loud gasping sounds every time a question was asked. Incompetent service department sold me a used car with a leaky water pump then would not help unless I was want to drive it with said leaking water pump all the way to Mount Vernon. I took it to a local Toyota dealership to fix it since it was an emergent problem. Foothills was unwilling to reimburse them or to at least exchanging a cost of the pump avoid this dealership they don't check out the car thoroughly that they sell. Also What kind of dealership doesn't give you a full take a gas with any vehicle purchase new or used? They have a little kitchenette where you can help yourself to some coffee and a "quiet room" in case you have a little baby or toddler with you who likes to roam around open space! We waited in the car while they all were on there phones not paying attention to what's going on. I know some dealerships come to the car. I said no worries and said I was just wondering what we're suppose to do. Then as we were waiting a older gentleman walks up with a lady and says he's here for service and rolls her eyes as if it was disturbing her to be helping the customer. I proceed to go inside to go look at the vehicles and the only sales person that asked if we needed help was after we walked around the lot and came inside he never got up from his seat. Don't waste your time driving up here! Spent 3 weeks working with Ben and Sarah over the phone to help my grandparents pick out a car. Scheduled an appointment to come test drive the vehicle we wanted. We were either going to buy that one or order one in a different color. After a 2 hour drive and a whole day off work, we arrived to find they did not have the vehicle on site. We had purchased our last vehicle from them so we were not even shopping around. They had us sold before we even arrived. Unfortunately, we won't be back and they lost our business. I was disappointed in several areas, refusal to fairly negotiate. Over price used vehicles on the lot, failure to listen by the sales staff. I got the impression the salesperson was offended with my knowledge of the car industry, and was very patronizing as we were talking over the numbers. Early on I had mentioned I attempted to sell my car as an individual owner, then when I mentioned my father sold cars for over 30 yrs he asked why didn't help me then? I felt the tone, the body language,and posturing was leading to this point was rude and more and more aggressive. I felt he didn't expect for me to try and negotiate and was taken aback and handle the situation poorly. The sales pressed the issue, until I told him my father was dead and left the dealership with the offer on the table. After a few days and a different sales person, we did eventually purchase the vehicle mainly for two reasons - my husband loved it (it has some special Trails Package on it) and the finance manager who was much better listening to the customer than either of the sales men. After the sale - I regret buying it from them, and would not recommend any one ever going there. From the sales experience to the lack of "detail services" the provided on a used car. My husband tore the FJ apart and cleaned it, it smelled like wet dog I mentioned it too both salesman and neither offered to have the interior washed, they did both make several excuse. Guess what it was wet dog my husband washed and it no longer smells, and he found receipts, unopened panty liners and all sorts of things from the previous owners. Oh and the "stain" I mentioned washed out too! If you had the car properly detailed it would smell like a brand new car, not have mud in it nor items from the previous owner. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLE TO FOOTHILLS TOYOTA EVER AGAIN!!! I decided to take my 2015 Toyota 4-Runner Limited in to get my 10K Pre-Paid Maintenance Oil Change taken care of with Foothills Toyota because of its location to Oak Harbor, WA before I went camping the following day with 0730 reservations to catch a ferry. The service agent was very welcoming and helpful. I also talked with a welcoming Salesman for a good 15 minutes! I walked in without a appointment and was out within an hour and 30 min...not too bad when their bay was full of cars being serviced. Then the bad happened!!! As I was driving back to Oak Harbor, after having my oil change taken care of, I passed a vehicle and smoke went EVERY WHERE behind me! At first, I thought it was the old car I had just passed. I was wrong! I passed another car, this time looking to see if it was me and it was! WHAT DID FOOTHILLS TOYOTA JUST DO TO MY VEHICLE!?! I immediately called Foothills Toyota Service to speak with Randy, the Service Manager, about the possibilities of why my truck was just smoking after getting my oil change done. He asked if the oil cap was on, which at the time, I was driving so I couldn't look. I pulled over when I could and popped open the hood. The oil cap was on so I took a look under my truck only to find oil EVERY WHERE!!! I let Randy know that my truck was dripping oil. He gave me a number to a local tow truck that they work with to have it towed back to them to work on the following morning (couldn't since I had 0730 reservations on the ferry to go camp) so Randy said one of his Service Agents lived in Oak Harbor and would immediately leave to take a look at my truck. After about an hour and 25 minutes of waiting (took me 45 min to get back from the same location) I finally got a call from the Service Agent to see where I was. I said I was at the old O'Reilly at the junction of 20 East and 20 West in Oak Harbor. He went to the new O'Reilly location which was no biggie to me. He headed right over to the old location and found me. He started working on my truck and said he couldn't find anything with the oil plug and the o'ring on the oil filter. He forgot a certain part on his way out to me, so he had another guy pick up a part for my truck. Not sure what the part was, but that wasn't the problem as per him. Once he finished tightening all the parts he had replaced and then filled my truck up with oil, I asked him what the problem was. He said the guy who worked on the vehicle didn't do his job tightening the oil filter most likely!!! He finished with my truck a little over an hour later. I waited a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes after waiting the hour and a half earlier actually getting the first oil change. Whatever the case "ACTUALLY" was, I did not like the quality of worked performed on my truck! NEVER again am I trusting this location with my $45K brand new truck! How can someone not properly do their work right and be ok with it!?! Especially risking someone else's life by not properly doing your work! This is the second time this location lied to me or didn't do work properly. The reason I bought my new truck from Michael's of Bellevue was them letting me drive 45 min after specifically asking them if they had a Limited 4-Runner and the Salesman saying, "Yes! Come on in!" After me asking him if they really did have one or not, he said they did! I got there and they didn't! Of course you didn't have one! You wanted me to come in to get a possible sale still! If you're looking to buy a new Toyota, I highly recommend going to Michaels of Bellevue! Excellent and very friendly service! read more

My husband and I lucked out buying a truck at Foothills. We are from Auburn and drove to Burlington hoping to find THE deal. We found the truck online before it was even on the lot. The price was great, the service was amazing. Ed Mayfield helped us on the floor and the back and forth on the price. He was great! Pleasant and quick, not your typical "salesman". Kuen Burton helped us with the finance portion of the deal. Kuen could not have been any better. He didn't harass us to purchase extras (which is THE WORST), he kept us entertained while we waited. We were in and out of there in 20 minutes. I could not give a higher recommendation for Foothills. I have bought a lot of cars in my life and by far this was the best experience I have ever had. I'm not sure how anyone can rate this less than 5 stars, but to each their own. We met with Brett Lange, who may possibly be the nicest man on earth. He asked us what we wanted and what prices we were comfortable with and what we wanted out of the vehicle, and most importantly, he listened to us. Not once did he even suggest something we didn't come in for, or something way out of our price range. Once we were enamored with our selection, he was able to get maximum trade value out of our trade in ($2500 versus the $500 an unnamed location in Bellingham was offering) and Kurt was able to secure us a very friendly APR. He even gave us reduced rates on the warranties for being active duty, which is always appreciated. Not one time in this establishment did we even sense pressure, and that made it the best car buying experience I've ever had and has set the bar very high. They've earned a customer for life and I will only speak highly and refer friends to this place from now on. read more
