This is an awesome company, an awesome service, and the best example of customer service I have ever seen! When I read the post about them using Diaprotect 90 I started freaking out - I've been using Dy Dee diaper since my twins were born about 18 months ago. I just spoke to Patty at the service and she says they DID use it, but HAVEN'T and DON'T CURRENTLY use anything but chlorine bleach. Phew, I can now sleep much better! We used Dy-Dee Service with our first baby. I was a cloth diaper newbie when I signed up for Dy-Dee. I didn't know how to fold a prefold, or what we needed to do the whole "cloth diaper thing!" Dy-Dee made it easy to start cloth diapering -- helpful intro booklet and a prefold already folded to help show us how to do it. We used the service for two months and now feel confident to do it on our own. We also asked people at our baby shower to gift us with a week, or more of cloth diaper service. We have had Dy-Dee service since early August, and our son is 8 weeks old now. Delivery is always ontime, and my wife just happened to meet the delivery driver, and she was holding our son, and the driver asked, "Oh is this my client? Hi Client!" He was so sincere in this, and happy to see the baby he was delivering for. These days, that little extra touch is what earns repeat business, and I hope that Dy-Dee wins over every customer they can, given the throwaway society we have become. I live in a condo complex and can't install my own personal washing machine in my unit due to the age of our pipes. Washing cloth diapers in our communal machine (with two little ones) is not an option. I love Dy-Dee diapers. We used them for our first daughter, and now we're using them again for #2. My older daughter toiled trained on her second birthday-- meaning she was out of diapers much earlier than all of her friends, and our total diapers costs were much less than if we had used disposables. I'm 29 today and 29 years ago I was put in my first Dy-Dee Diaper! I was going to try another diaper service and things went wrong and got messed up, then my mom told me that I was raised in Dy-Dee Diapers and to call and see about starting. I called and within minutes I was set up, it was so easy and the person helping was so helpful and kind and patient with my million questions! I love this service. People talk about the convenience of disposables, but I love not having to shop or go out for diapers, they're always here ready! I love also that my diapers are cotton and will break down over time, opposed to disposables that stay and pollute the environment. They also are soft on my little love's tush! I also love how there's a good chance to potty train earlier. I love when he announces he's wet, it feels like practice for later potty training! I ended up getting classic diapers and bought rump a rooz covers off amazon, they are so soft and have snaps (Dy-Dee's) were alright but a little stiff and Velcro. I also returned the Dy-dee prorap covers with no problem, they were kind to take the ones I hadn't washed and picked them up on my next delivery date. I called today to make changes and they are so kind and so efficient, but they've been around for so long, I should expect that! read more

Received these diapers for my newborn as a gift from my wonderful grandpa. Got the paperwork with all the extra shit you could buy to go with the diapers, but no contract or anything of the sort. Didn't really use the diapers, I find cloth diapers gross. I'd grab a cloth to clean up spit up if it was handy. I used one as a napkin when I had spaghetti one night. Worked ok. Last week, I received an invoice for $80. Actually it was $83, and I got snapped at when I said $80 on the phone. I called them to let them know it was a gift, and they said I'd done an extra month of service. They told me the person in charge would call me back. She didn't. Then I received a bill for $100. Apparently I kept a few diapers and they charged me for those. Called them up and the woman on the phone said it was in my contract that they wouldn't stop sending them after the one month gift was over. I told her I never signed anything, or got any contract and she said, "well maybe your grandpa did." You're going to blame on elderly man on fixed income? Low. Then she started going on and on about how it was my responsibility to pay blah blah and literally wouldn't shut up until I spoke over her and asked if she was going to let me speak. After I told her I could not afford what she was asking (I work 2 days a week, I'm a new mom) she didn't say anything to the point I thought she'd hung up. She finally "resolved" things by saying she'd charge half the bill. I told her that wasn't fair, because it was clear the diapers were being returned unused each week. She said they don't keep inventory of that. Oh? Then how do you know some are missing? Don't get ripped off by a bunch of liars, this business sucks. read more

Purchased a Living Social deal and was gifted the deal from family and friends. The fine print mentioned one per customer, however I did not know I was receiving the gifts! I used Dy Dee Diaper service with my first born girl. They were one of the best companies in the area. Their deliveries were very reliable and the cost was reasonable. Another benefit of using cloth diapers is that your baby will feel the wetness and when it comes time for potty training, they will be out of diapers that much sooner. I also used the diapers for boo-boo spills and throwup - just throw them in the bag and they come back magically white and clean! I love the simple pro-wrap diaper covers they sell, too. I have a wide variety of diaper covers, but these are so easy, I find that I reach for them more often than not. We've been using Dy-Dee for about a month now, and started when our daughter was just shy of 4 months old. We've had a couple of small hiccups, but each time I call, customer service is extremely helpful! We didn't get our deodorant disc at start-up, but they put one in the mail as soon as I called so it arrived before the next service date. Another time we had an issue with a diaper miscount and they sent us extra diapers via UPS. Could I buy generic disposable diapers for less? Sure, but I wouldn't get the awesome service or the benefits of cloth diapering. Cloth diapering has been a surprisingly easy adjustment for our whole family and I'm so glad we gave it a try.
