I have worked in customer service for the last 8 years of my life and would never pull what this guy just did. I also have never gotten in an argument IN MY LIFE with a service worker. On accident, this rep selected the wrong line to transfer to a new phone, and sent my brother's phone number to my new phone. He said he "didn't know what happened," and ok- mistakes happen. It was fine at first, like not that big of a deal. First, he had to call verizon to try and get the mistake fixed, and had to work with a guy on their end to try to get the numbers switched back around. They had to search for the right phone to attach my brother's number back to, which was largely a process of exclusion since my brother wasn't with me. Eventually, after that process they finally said my brother had to reset his phone to have service again and I live nowhere near him while I'm away at college and had no way to tell him because he has no service due to their mistake. I also have no access to my phone either due to the switching, so I'm having to use their store phone. Plus I knew he was already on his way to try and get the Cyber Monday deal before his local Verizon closed so I can't get him on wifi either. In the meanwhile I was trying to communicate with my mom about what happened, and the rep is the one who asked me to call her in the first place. Meanwhile he's trying to also get my mom and brother to upgrade to an unlimited plus plan via phone, but they declined (again my brother is headed to his own store to get the deal). So he was asked to only upgrade my phone. But after the switch up, he still left my brother's phone upgraded to an unlimited plus plan until I HAD TO TELL HIM AFTER LOOKING AT HIS SCREEN to change it back so my brother can get his deal. Then after a few calls with their store phone, I could tell the sales rep was starting to get annoyed with me. My mom had to leave her bed the night before an early shift to drive to my brother, who was on his way to Verizon for an upgrade, to tell him to reset his phone so he wasn't without service/let him know what was going on so it didn't affect his upgrade. He did reset, three times, and nothing happened. Then, after I waited for him to finish with another customer, he instructed for my brother to go into his settings and activate his e-Sim. It still didn't work. He shrugged and said "it should" then proceeded to ignore me to talk to yet another customer despite us being in active time-sensitive situation. Finally my phone finished transferring, and so I turned it on but the service was not working. I let him know it wasn't working and he said "it should be" and went back to working with the other customer and told me to wait. I was trying to call my mom on my new phone via WiFi + instagram to make sure that my brother's phone was getting fixed. It still wasn't fixed. Eventually they were able to resolve it by calling corporate themselves, but at this point they are standing in their local Verizon and they're telling them they have to close for the day. Finally the rep is free again and sees me using my phone (to message my mom on wifi) and says "don't do anything to the settings" and I said "I'm still talking to my mom" and he says "Well if you'd hand me your phone I could get the sim activated and you can call her" in a super condescending and irritated tone. That's when I finally SNAPPED and said "Ok I'm trying to clean up the mess you made. You're being extremely rude to me and I don't appreciate it" in my own sassy tone bc I can only take so much. And he said "What are you talking about I've been helping you for the last hour" and I said "over something that's your fault and you've been rude to me" and he said "We can just refund the phone right now." Like i'm his fucking toddler? Also refund?? I got this thing for free with a new plan. Ultimately, I still have to trade in my phone because it won't reset there due to a security feature (not the store's fault). So he said I had to come back to their location to trade it in. I left with both phones and called corporate. They're saying that he also left the wrong info for my trade-in, so I have to go to another location tomorrow to get the trade-in fixed because he has my brothers phone model and not mine as the one being traded in Thank god they're letting me trade-in at another location; told me I had to come back- yeah when hell freezes over!!! The one other customer service rep in house didn't see most of it/was busy with his own customers, so he just kinda laughed it off when I finally snapped because this guy tried to make me look like I was the one being crazy (as they often do). Needless to stay I reported it and it's being "escalated" whatever that means. If you're in a public place or customer service setting, I also recommend recording all business interactions because you have the legal right to do so. read more

I ordered new cell phone from this store. I was told by Marcus, one of the workers there that it would be here in 2-3 days. I mean it was ok if it took longer than that time. I told him to notify me once it is here via text. He verbally confirmed that he would message me. However I got no contact from them even after a week. I called the store but no one picked up. So I had to go there to check up the current status. Apparently the phone was here all along but he went on a vacation and left my order in hanging. No one else knew about my order either. I thought if someone goes on vacation then other workers should take care of that order but maybe it is not the case nowadays. My one star review may not reflect the overall value of this store, but my personal experience with this store. read more

This store is not a corporate location, which means that they can make their own policies and screw customers over as they please. Came in with my boyfriend last week to switch over to unlimited and upgrade his phone, we were offered an iPad at a lower rate as well, and only decided to take the iPad because the sales rep Ariel specifically assured us that we'd have 14 days to return it if we changed our mind. We picked up the tablet on the 11th and decided to return it 3 days later. Upon returning to the store, we were told that the policy had just changed that day and everything EXCEPT iPads and Apple watches can be returned. How convenient that it changed THE DAY WE WENT TO RETURN IT!!! When I pointed out that their sales rep assured us that we had 14 days, as well as the corporation, but they're independently owned, so they can set their own return polIcy, and my boyfriend signed the receipt where the stipulation about final sales on iPads is in the fine print. I find it fascinating that a policy that was on the receipt signed on the 11th had just been changed on the 14th. Clearly Ariel is good at sales because he got the iPad sale by fudging about the return policy. Gotta respect the hustle. So if you feel lIke bending over and taking one where the sun don't shine- drop by and see Tom or Ariel. The young lady, whose name I did not catch, was better at explaining how the screwing over we had just gotten worked, but we're still screwed- we either pay $450 up front for the tablet we don't want or pay it off in $25/month payments for the next 2 yrs. Either way there's no getting rid of the unwanted item. These kids are nice, but I still recommend avoiding this location. Go to a corporate location and not an authorized retailer like this store. read more

This is an update! I discovered that my phone may have been defective as my charging port was broken- one of the 6 met prongs was bent. I'm very gentle with my iPhone; had it for years and never had this issue. I've only had my phone for about 2 months and discovered this issue within the month that I got it. A new iPhone 12 too! Long story short, getting the runaround from Best Buy Geek Squad to the Apple store, none come close to the service I got from Braeden at the Verizon store!! He is extremely professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly and patient. Being in the sales industry for over a decade myself, I must say his customer service is top notch and stellar! He helped me resolved the problem quickly, was able to obtain a new phone for me within the warranty, and then helped me transfer the data and packaged the old phone up expeditiously! Great communication throughout this entire process! I would only shop with Braeden at this store and will follow him to the next store if he transfers! CON ARTISTS. AVOID at all costs. Find a real Verizon store. THIS STORE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Dealing with them is like dealing with a pushy guy on the street trying to sell you a knockoff Rolex. They lied to me & omitted to tell me VERY important information in order to pad their bottom line. Told me the tablet I was getting was going to be free, it wasn't. Didn't disclose that the tablet was going to be getting its own phone line that I was going to have to pay for. DID THEY REALLY THINK I WANTED A WHOLE NEW PHONE LINE? All I did was come in to trade in my Google Pixel 2 for an Iphone XR. That's it. Then they said, "oh but we have this great deal now for that! you'll get a free tablet (not a good one) when you trade in your phone!" I thought "wow what a great deal! must be because it's their slow season that they offer incentives" Weeks later upon getting my bill I find out that the "free" tablet was not at all free, I was paying for it monthly, and it was now connected to its own new phone line that I get to pay for too. Where was the trade in value from my Google Pixel 2? POOF. Who knows. So, I then go in to ask them about it, they say that by "free" they meant that I was already paying X amount for my Google Pixel and am paying the same amount on this tablet, so there was no change overall, so "in essence" it was free. Julio ripped me off/lied to me! I added 2 new lines to an existing plan and purchased 2 new iPhones with their "BOGO deal". Salesmen (aka Julio) tells me the offer includes two accessories per new line without any cost. I incessantly asked him "it's FREE? I don't need to pay for these?" Since we all know how Verizon salesmen are. His response "yes it's part of the deal". Come to find out, I was charged in $180 in accessories on top of the payment of $175 to "activate" both lines onto my plan. So I call the store back and start talking about the issue - salesmen shuts me up & thinks I'm talking about the BOGO deal but I'm actually talking about accessories. He shuts me up again cause he says he's busy with a customer, takes my number and hangs up without taking my name. He called me back the following day - (by looking up my number since his rude ass hung up before asking for my name) and addresses me by my cousin's who is also on my line (ha.. ha.. could your guys customer service lack any more? ) - just to say "Julio doesn't recall saying that it was free and our manager isn't in right now. He'll be in later and I'll have him call you" Never called me so I went in store the next day, manager still wasn't in so they can't help me.. I've been waiting for this issue to be resolved since last Wednesday I understand everyone needs to make sales & commission, but DIRTY sales is not the way to go. Or maybe Julio doesn't understand the plan? OR Julio took advantage of 3 girls walking into a store. Whatever it is, I don't like Julio. Yes, I should've checked the receipt more carefully before paying & leaving. My mistake to think a Verizon salesmen would be honest STILL waiting for you Mr./Mrs. Manager. I really didn't want these overpriced phone cases & car charger. Don't EVER take accessories if they say it's "included in the bundle" - even if you clarify it's "part of the bundle, so FREE?" What a terrible customer experience and manipulative tactic to deceive customer. Here is my story: In April 2018, there was a promo where iPhone buy back was at $350 if you sign up for a new iPhone X. Brian told me if I sell the phone now, he was able to give me an additional $260 dollars because it was an iPhone 7 128gb. I said wow, that's unreal, let's do it. Once that was done, he told me to pay off my current phone (at which I owed $160 dollars approximately-and graciously did pay off to get the additional funds back). He told me if I give him a good review on Yelp, he will give me a cool iPhone screen protector. I left him a good review because I felt at that time, he helped me get a smoking deal. Couple months goes by; I never get credit on what was promised to me. Not only that, he told me my old phone has to be traced since it looks like it's lost. Weeks go by, no follow up, I visited him, called him and asked him what happened? He said, Verizon is telling me that your phone is ineligible for trade in rebate because you changed your plan in May. (I NEVER CHANGED ANYTHING, AND TOLD HIM, THE ONLY THING I DID WAS REMOVE YOUR INSURANCE YOU ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT THAT I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT, MY PLAN IS THE SAME). He tells me he can't help me anymore and that I have to call Corporate Verizon and deal with them directly. After this goes no where, I spoke to his manager Malid. What a joke! That guy does the same thing saying, "Call Corporate, you changed the plan! We can't help you anymore." Here is what's really wrong with Brian. He lied to me, signed me up for misc items that I never knew about, over promised the rebate (to all of me and my friends), and never GAVE ME ANY CONTRACT, PAPERWORK, OR ANYTHING LIKE A RECEIPT WHEN I SIGNED UP-JUST TOLD ME TO SIGN HERE AND WE'RE ALL SET). I QUESTIONED HIM, CAN I GET A COPY OF ANYTHING, HE SAYS NO, YOU'RE GOOD TO GO. AND ENTICED ME TO GIVE HIM A REVIEW FOR A iPHONE COVER? I wasted hours and hours waiting for Brian, calling Corporate Verizon and filing research to be done. All these guys want is a quick sale and refer you to corporate Verizon when crap hits the fan. I visited this location to check out new phones and get information on new plans. My parents and I were all due for an upgrade. I was helped out by Brandon, who was extremely friendly and helpful. I let him know that I was intent on getting the Samsung Note 9 but I needed a deal on some phones for my parents. That's when he told me about the sweet holiday promo - buy 1 LG at half price, get the second one free (I'm pretty sure this is only available when signing up new lines). This was the absolute PERFECT plan for me. Brandon is an iPhone user, but he did not show any Apple bias. I really appreciate that! I must have asked a million questions, but Brandon was very informative and easy to talk to. We set up the new plan but my phones would take a few days to ship to the store. Brandon gave me his direct cell in case I needed any help, and I actually texted him on Christmas Eve to see if my phones were ready. He was not on the clock, but contacted his manager to find out for me anyways. Finally, the phones were delivered, but I could not get to the Verizon store until late after work. The account transfer process is long and grueling, but Brandon stayed almost an hour past closing just to make sure we were completely set up before leaving the store. TOP NOTCH SERVICE! CONSUMER BEWARE - STAY AWAY FROM WIRELESS PLUS!!! First off this is not a Verizon Wireless store, it's an authorized retailer called Wireless Plus. The customer service rep David is the absolute worst! The guy has no integrity. He was rude to customers that came in the store and gave them ridiculously long wait times while he was working with us. He also answered the phone a few times and was super unprofessional to those individuals calling in. The business practices here are fraudulent, unethical and dishonest. My wife was trading in an older iPhone for an iPhone 13. The phone wasn't available in store so it had to be ordered. Aside from the cost of the phone ($810), David quotes us a $290 "setup cost" plus taxes. He grabs an iPhone case, screen protector and 2 different chargers and says these accessories are included for free as part of the "setup cost". Seemed odd. When we looked at the receipt the accessories were rung up as individual line items totaling $185. Watch out!!! "setup cost" is a sneaky way to charge you for unwanted accessories. We told him we didn't need any of the accessories and just wanted the phone. He went on to say the accessories are part of a "mandatory bundle" you must purchase in order to get the phone per corporate policy. Conveniently omitted that piece of information prior to check out. So initially the accessories were included for free in the "setup cost" then the language changed to "mandatory bundle" once we called him out on it. Very misleading to not say anything about a "mandatory bundle" in order to purchase a phone right from the start. Why am I required to spend $185 on accessories I don't want or need just for the privilege to buy an $810 phone. Do not trust this store or any of its employees. Take your money elsewhere. Again, make sure you are at an actual Verizon Wireless store not an authorized retailer. read more

Horrible and worst service and result. They told me that there should be only one person at a time at the store so I went in and my partner was staying outside. About 20 min later, they let a white guy inside. I was very confused because I was told that there should be only ONE person in the store but they let white guy in. After that white guy (customer) done with it, they let white lady inside (customer). But they don't let my partner in. And they mass up my account and very disappointed. They set up my account very wrong and I can not log into my account. They don't know what to do so when he set up my account, he was on the phone with another guy. Although he mentioned he could not directly help me with my problem, Brandon equipped me with all the necessary contacts and helped me explain the issue in order to give my dispute the best chance possible to be approved. I was a long time Verizon Wireless customer. Yesterday, I made the mistake of switching to T-MOBILE and immediately started having problems. It took more than 12 hours for my phone to be unlocked. Then, when I tried to make or receive phone calls, the person on the other end was unable to hear me. After being treated very rudely by T-Mobile representatives, I walked into the Verizon retailer. The representative was very helpful. She suggested that I either get a new line in my brother's name or try calling Verizon to ask about the buy back program. read more

Bought 2 iPhones from this store. Nice guys, but they weren't very professional. Computers didn't work, moved me to 2 different stations to complete activation, which took forever. I was patient, stuff happens. Since the computers weren't working, they didn't show me what I was being charged. It was supposed to be taxes for the phones only, but they charged me a $50 "Loyalty Program" fee for activating my phone without explaining it to me until after they charged my card. Ironic because it definitely lost a customer. Make sure you get those fees explained up front before they change all your account info and it's too late to roll back without a big hassle. Verizon sells us a $150 phone that stops working within the first 2 days. We brought it here because obviously the phone was defective. The guy was super unhelpful, he basically just says because of a small crack on the inside of the screen (which it came with) we would have to pay another 100 dollars and go through insurance. Wish I could give negative stars! The worker Brandon a young white Kid has the worst customer service and deceiving liar. I should have gone to a Verizon Corporate store. I read the reviews while I was in the store but Brandon seems cool and straight forward at first. Little that I know this punk was a good liar. I traded in 2 phones and was suppose to get a certain credit amount but didn't from Verizon. Verizon told me there was no such promotion and to contact the store. Also Brandon told me He'd waive my activation fee's which he didn't. He then adds protection warranty on my old Iphone 5! Why would I want warranty on this? Just to make a few bucks extra from verizon I guess. Also He said that my Iphone 5 wouldn't work with Verizon because its from sprint. What a little liar. He just didn't want to lose that commission sale on a return. Since purchasing the phone in January I've had to contact Verizon about every month in regards to my account. When I finally have one statement that is correct and normal. Then I find fraudulent activity with my account with 3 new lines, upgraded phones, change of plans. Previously in my 3rd or 4th month there was also unauthorized changes to my accounts. I hope this has nothing to do with Brandon or the store. I have since filed numerous complaint with verizon. Next I will contact BBB. This place should be closed, the employees need a lesson in morals, respect and how to do business properly. Learn how to build a client relationship for future business. I wish I read the yelp reviews before coming into this store *kicking myself in the booty!!** Upgraded 2 phones. The guy (Malid) was helpful in terms of helping me take advantage of the BOGO for the iPhone 8. I paid for what I thought was only the tax on the phones and he said he would email me the receipt. Unfortunately, I forgot about checking for my receipt until about a month later and just recently picked up a hard copy from the store. I also traded in a phone and didn't see the bill credit on my Verizon bill so I called Verizon and they informed me the credit was applied the day I bought my phones in the store. What??!! The guy didn't inform me he would be crediting the trade in value right then and there!! I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged $49.99 per line for a Loyalty Program, yet was never asked nor informed of this when I paid. The trade in value was also applied at the same time so the total price SEEMED reasonable for the amount of tax on 2 phones. Not happy about this at all!! Basically I was charged for something I was never asked about nor agreed to purchase. The receipt states that the Loyalty Program can be refunded in 14 days and I'm way past the refund period. Lesson learned: Always, always get a copy of your receipt and check it!! read more

Alright the reason for this 1 star is very simple: the service and the bullshit charge they tried to attach to it. What was this service? It was simply asking the store to transfer my sister's contact list from her old to new phone. This service has been free at nearly every Verizon store I've been to ever since I was their customer, but since this is a retailer they had the audacity to say that they would charge $20 for transferring the data. Okay...I knew something was up so I raised my eyebrow and asked them if there's normally a charge. They said because I'm not upgrading a phone (my sister was downgrading) or signing a new contract, they can't do it for free. The one good thing that they did was that the rep I was talking to offered to try and transfer the contacts through bluetooth. After I was tired of waiting, I decided to take both phones and go to the Verizon retailer nearby on Harbor and Bastanchury. The service was done for me for free as I predicted. I hope this retailer is careful with imposing charges on people because with enough negative reviews, it will affect their business. read more
