I went in today for a routine oil change on my work truck (fleet vehicle). About 10 minutes after being told someone would be right with me, I was checked on again to see if I was being helped. Nope. A couple minutes later, Wyatt came to check in my vehicle. He asked what I was needing, and I told him an oil change. He asked about the tires. I said a rotation could be done. He checked the tread and the rear tires were wearing and stated an alignment was needed. Ok, fine; I approved an alignment. I went into the lounge and figured I could sit back, enjoy a book, and I would be out before noon. NOPE! Wrong. Wyatt came back to inform me that since my truck was not in their system, they could not prove that any of the "routine 30,000-mile maintenance" had been completed (my truck has almost 82,000 on it). I stated that I had been taking it to another dealer and told them who. Wyatt and a manager told me they would look into it and get the approval to have the work done. I asked them to let me know what the cost would be so I could report back to my supervisors. I was told they would be in to let me know. After a couple hours of waiting around, no one got back to me! I spoke with the manager, and he stated he got the approval for the work. I stated to him a couple of times, "I need to get approval from my supervisors. The [fleet credit] card people have NOTHING to do with that." I felt like he was not understanding my English! I stated again about service being done a year ago at the other dealer. "We looked into that," was the response I got. No they didn't!! There were 3 services done today that were done a year ago (and less than 10,000 miles ago)!!! If they had actually talked to the other dealer, they would have known that. So instead, my company was charged $362 for services that did not need to be done! I should have been given a list of the services they wanted to do along with the charges BEFORE any work was done. But instead, they saw it was a fleet vehicle (and I was a woman) and decided to do what they wanted. I was told several times "We do not perform unnecessary services. We are not like that." Well, you know what; yes, they do and yes, they are. Not sure I will use this dealer again. I will drive 1.5 hrs to the other dealer, before going back here. I had never had an issue until today. All the other times, they did as I asked, but today it was a fight to get them to listen to me. read more
