Dylan's was a cool local spot that felt just between fast food and a restaurant where you can bring a group of friends to hangout. There was a deal on the double W burger and it was solid. I got the tots and they were fried well but pretty bland and they only have me 2 packets of ketchup which was enough to wet about a quarter of the tots. There was also a pretty long wait for my burger.

    Frozen lettuce and burnt bacon.

Ordered a small Cobb salad through the drive thru. Bacon is burnt black and 90% of lettuce is frozen. Yuck

Yummy over the top winder ice cream shakes

In Ogden for a birthday party and checked Yelp for nearby suggestions for lunch. In the mood for some burgers fries and shakes so Dylan's was a perfect fit when looking through menu. I thought it was more of a restaurant but it's more like an Apollo burger type joint. Only they have shivers and shakes!! Huge menu with plenty to choose from between burgers, sandwiches, salads, wraps and shakes. I picked a veggie burger and half a front runner salad (no chicken) and an Oreo shake. Hubby ordered a steakhouse burger and a chocolate malt. $32 for everything. A bit too pricy in my mind for it not being a typical restaurant. Shakes came out first and they are over the top style so it's not a shake where you can drink it (as a NYer shake is something that is creamy but not so thick you can't drink it). Malts are his favorite and he thoroughly enjoyed it. My Oreo shake was rich and creamy. They were delicious made with winder farms ice cream!! Hubby's burger was 1/2 lb of beef but didn't look that big when it came out. It was totally manageable to eat and packed with flavor. Cheese was perfectly melted and the fries were crinkle fries with perfect crisp outside and chewy center with just the right amount of salt. Perfect for dipping in fry sauce! My veggie burger was interesting as it was 2 small square patties (reminiscent of White Castle sliders). Super flavorful for such tiny burgers and I loved the sprouts and cheese to top it off. The half salad looked like a full salad it was so big. Nice big chunks of romaine lettuce and green apples. Not many raspberries in it but still good. The honey Dijon dressing was a great addition to the salad but I'm not a fan of bleu cheese so it was a bit overpowering for me. I don't know how I missed that was the cheese or I would have asked for it without. Besides that it was still tasty.

This is how they advertise their hamburgers.

This is my large Greek chicken salad from Dylan's. And this is the amount of chic on it......and it wasn't cheap.

I love getting a kids meal with a shake. They have good food that is quick. The shakes are kinda expensive but worth it.

Even after that, we waited another long time to even get drinks started and food ordered in. The bartender was super kind and talkative but felt like he had really no care for being attentive. The food we got was okay. The ribs had good flavor but the texture felt off as if they were microwaved or overcooked. My girlfriend got a buffalo chicken sandwich that really had no flavor and was mostly breading and super messy. I got a shepherds pie but as well the potatoes had little to no flavor.. I think this place has a lot of potential. Maybe it was just a bad night. But I think better service and curating a better palate for the menu can be done. Especially for being one of the few better bar and food places in Ogden.

They make other burgers taste like detergent. They're basic - beef, cheese, bun, salvation sauce. By cutting out the unnecessary bull, you get a hamburger how the Lord truly intended it. Because it's real beef and no seed oils running interference on flavor, you get the flavor spectrum of what it is to be American made. If your classic muscle car of choice had a flavor, this is as close as it gets. The founding fathers would be proud. The ingredients: By keeping it simple and crap free, you have what I would call healthy fast food. Church fries his chips in tallow, giving them a superior flavor, crunch and actually being able to become fuel for the body instead of a drain. This is as close to warrior fuel as you can get without hunting it yourself. I don't remember what his salvation sauce was but I know that it complements the food and leaves the mouth singing His praises. Overall, this burger and fries won't leave you feeling hungover. Foreign nations won't be able to touch you after consuming America's finest burger. Even if this is as close as you get to becoming the second George Washington, your tastebuds will have their moment of independence from processed junk. Your joints will thank you. Your gut flora will rejoice. This meal tastes like how freedom should feel. It's filling, it's natural, it's untouched by those who would do you harm, both foreign and domestic. And the ambiance? Parked for free streetside nearby and walked over, got on the waitlist and was texted to return after just 15 mins. My salad was massive, with charred grilled chicken and a delicious buffalo sauce. The appetizers were amazing as well, you HAVE to try their fried pickles!! It was super hot outside so the beers were extra refreshing, I really loved their IPA but their stout fell flat for me. I can be picky! Their Porter also shone, delicious and unique! Service was friendly and super fast. I asked for some modifications on my salad and they did not mind a bit. Grabbed a pint glass on the way out. Would love to come back here and watch a game from the back patio, which is shaded and has misters (and a kid area!).

Their regular menu is great, but I also love the rotation, to add a little more variety. It was very busy, and we mentioned we were trying to make a show later, and they took care of us, and we made it on time.

The atmosphere is a casual bar type feel with high top and table seating as well as a bar. On our first visit, we sat at a table by the sliding doors. I tried the mushroom burger with fries. It was tasty with fresh mushroom, Swiss cheese, and flat top prepared burger. The fries were fresh cut and they provided fry sauce. The waitress was friendly and kept our drinks full. The second time, we sat at a high top table with mismatched chairs. My chair was kind-of flexible, and I sank into the seat making me feel like a little kid as I scooted up to the table. Despite that, I ordered the sampler platter with a choice of 3 items. I opted for the Honey Garlic and House chicken wings with tater tots. The wings were good, and I preferred the honey garlic to the house wings, because they were a bit sweeter, and I love sweet stuff. The tots were tasty and not too greasy, but could have used a bit more salt. Again, the waitress was friendly and was doing double duty as the bar tender.
