There are a couple of things I go to Dylan's for. The first is their fish and chips. It comes with English chips, not French fries. Dylan's is the only place I know of that serves English chips--delicious chunks of potato that are lightly breaded and deep fried. You also get a fresh lemon wedge to squeeze onto your fish. The other thing I like at Dylan's is their salads. Their Greek salad is my favorite. If I had a complaint, it would be about their banana cream pie shake. They need to put real bananas into it and crumbled nilla wafers or graham crackers or something resembling crust. read more

Sadly disappointed in food, seems to have gone down in taste ... and portions. Used to be one of our favorite drive thru restaurants. Last night ordered a side salad (just terrible for the price of around $8, mini bowl) and French Dip is now prefer going to Arby's of all places. Not sure what happened to their English Chips but a big disappointment as well. Even their fountain drink, I should have grabbed a fountain drink at Maverick. Sadly won't return because eating out these days is expensive so we'll go where we get good quality food and service. read more

I like the food here! It's a pretty typical diner with burgers, sandwiches, salads, and shakes. You can customize everything you order and it tastes pretty good. My favorites are the Front Runner Salad and their fries! The salads have really fresh ingredients. My main BIG complaint is that the drive through is THE WORST. Go inside to order and you'll be much happier. It's really hard to hear at the drive through because the speaker is bad and it's right next to a loud intersection. It also takes FOREVER. Remember this before you come and you should have a better experience. read more

Dylan's never disappoints with the taste of their food. The only downside is the pricing is a bit high for what you get. For example, I am a fan of the pastrami burgers but for about the same price, you can go to crown burger and get the best pastrami burger in the state. There isn't anything on the menu at Dylan's that is 'best in state' but it is all good, even if slightly over priced. The place is generally clean and the service about what you'd expect from a restaurant like Dylan's. One cool thing about Dylan's is they sometimes do community events, like around Halloween if the kids dress up they eat free. The branding in this restaurant is ridiculous. Did I walk in to Dylan's? Or did I walk into Warren's? Is the sign outside says Dylan's. But the menus all say Warren's. This is all a little bit confusing and really doesn't need to be. Personally I would like a little history but there doesn't seem to be any information about the name difference on the website and the cashier didn't seem to know either. Okay so my wife and I ate here for dinner. We had a big W which is basically a cheeseburger and a Mushroom Swiss burger. I found that the Mushroom Swiss burger lacked sauce. The menu said it had mayonnaise but I didn't find any. It was pretty good after I dipped it in fry sauce. My wife's Burger what's also really good we had them take off the house so I'll set it comes with and put fry sauce on it instead. Their Fries Are crinkle-cut. I don't particularly care for this style. But they were crispy and delicious. The service was okay the food was okay the environment was okay. Dylan's or should I say Warren's? Was okay. This old Kaysville's favorite needs better publicity. It's really clean and well kept. The food is always fresh and good. My favorite is a Mt Steakhouse burger. w a slice of Ham. I went through your drive through tonight and picked up two philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Tessa was working the window and what a joy she was. She was kind, friendly, and just an overall joy. I've been back to Dylan's twice since my previous review. All 3 total visits have been about the same quality with many consistencies. So here are some updated words of advice: 1. Get the onion rings as a substitution for the fries. They are just average onion rings, but that is a huge improvement on the fries I had in the past. (Who knew hot/fresh fries could taste bad!?!?) 2. Do NOT use their Drive Thru if you want to get your food in a reasonable amount of time. They are much more efficient on the dine-in side of things. If you don't mind waiting and just do not want to get out of your car, be prepared to camp in the DThru at least 10-15 minutes. Don't be fooled by the fact that there are no cars in the Drive Thru if you are in a hurry, either. 3. This isn't somewhere you go for good service. It's also not somewhere you go for bad service, which is better than nothing. They are A-Okay, but definitely not exemplary with their service. 4. Get a burger like the Crunchy BBQ or something with flavorful additions. The burger patty itself is unseasoned and flavorless. You're definitely going to want to add some flavor to it. 5. Get a shake with your meal if you want something to be the star of the show. 6. Be prepared for the full meal to cost over $10. Also be prepared for the guilt after you finish your meal and you realized you could've spent that amount somewhere else for far better quality and experience. It's just kind of how it is if you go here. I see by other reviews that many people enjoy Dylan's. That's definitely a contributing factor as to why I gave it multiple chances before admitting defeat. I want to like it. I want to support local businesses, but not at the expense of quality. If you haven't tried it, I encourage you to try it and form an opinion for yourself. Growing up in the Southern United States, I have definitely been raised to expect a certain level of service from employees and flavor in the food. Dylan's definitely does not meet my personal expectations. read more

Dylan's is one of my favorite places for a burger, fries, and a shake. Staff is friendly, restaurant is clean, food is fresh, and fry sauce is perfect. The burgers here taste homemade - you know they are fresh! I got the crunchy BBQ which is a burger with onion rings and BBQ sauce. I would get it again! The burger was a little messy, but why would you want a dry burger? Fries were crisp and warm and the fry sauce perfectly complements them. I could drink that stuff, haha! Honestly, I think the shakes are the best part of the meal here. Thick, creamy, and plenty of toppings mixed in. If you are looking for a perfect treat, get a shake and some fries. Great amount of sweet and salty. Everyone complaining about if this is Dylan's or Warren's? Pff, does it matter? Either way it is good food! Yucky food. Their fries taste; the way manure smells. Today, I stopped at Dylan's. I ordered at the drive-thru. Two of my kids had chicken nuggets. The other child had a corn dog. The cornbread coating in the corn dog was gross. It tasted like old grease. I'm assuming it was because it had been cooked in a fryer that hasn't been cleaned in a while. I ordered a half-size Chinese chicken salad. When I got home, & opened the container I made a disgusted face. All of the greens in my salad were wilted. And there was an unidentifiable piece of something mixed in with the chicken. Not good. I think it's the first time I've ever asked for a refund on food. The manager was nice, and apologetic. He gave me a refund. But it wasn't enough to change my mind about the food. I am definitely not going to frequent Dylan's. read more

I really enjoy the quality of food that is avaliable at Dylan's Drive-Inn. The BLT is very good, and so are their burgers and fries. I really enjoy the Chicken Strip basket and their English Chips are heavenly. I also really enjoy the scones, which are the perfect size for breakfasts for small people. I also really enjoy the jumbo Cherry-Lime aids. The staff is very kind and courteous and quick to offer suggestions if you are first time diner. If you dine in, I have zero complaints. However, going through the drive thru is very slow-going. I usually have to turn my car off while waiting. It's ridiculously slow. I understand that this is because everything is made fresh, but when you go through a drive thru you have an expectation of it being "fast" Despite the slowness of the drive-thru I am still a fan. Got the fish and chips , the fish wasn't bad ...but had better. The chips were awful square pieces of potato that looked like they came from bad potatoes and got maybe 10 little pieces. We ordered the Dave's big steak burger and added mustard, tomatoes, lettuce and fry sauce. We also ordered fries, Cobb salad, kids meal grilled cheese sandwich and two malt Oreo shakes. We all enjoyed the fries as they are very similar to Wendy's fries as far as taste and texture. But our favorite was the vintage Malt Oreo Shakes that are hard to find now days. read more

We thought the food was pretty good. No complaints. There was one thing I hated about it though. It's "All Country Music, All the Time." When I asked about it, I was told that the management refuses to play any other kind of music because, and I'm paraphrasing here, : Country music is good, wholesome family music. Huh???? What with all the themes about cheating lovers and such, how is that wholesome? And family music? Maybe if your family is the Beverly Hillbillies, it's good family music. Otherwise, something like mainstream pop music is likely a lot more popular and family-oriented and wholesome. I decided to order the Halibut and Chips via the drive-thru, since it is something that I haven't had before at Dylan's. It ended up taking the typical 20+ minutes to get my order, and ended up costing more than $9. Once I got home, I opened up the bag and was shocked to see the small paper basket with 3 tiny pieces of halibut and barely enough chips to cover the bottom of the basket. If I had seen this sitting on a tray in the restaurant, I would have assumed it was from the children's menu -- it was that small. This is the fourth or fifth meal in a row from Dylan's that has disappointed me, and it is becoming difficult to find things on their menu that I am willing to order. Extremely slow drive-thru service, high prices, and they are very stingy with the portions -- Unfortunately, this is what I have come to expect from Dylan's. read more

This is your typical burger joint, but they do have a good Caesar lunch wrap - I highly recommend that, and their salads. Their drive through takes forever, but they do have a good dirty coke! I have only tasted a couple of their burgers but they were pretty good. I like their buns, and their Piccadilly chips with fry sauce are good. Update: they lost a star. Came for the first time today and was extremely happy with how kind and quick the service was. I ordered a pacific griller (salmon sandwich) and some fries. The fries were delicious and fresh. When I got home I realized they accidentally gave me the wrong sandwich but I went back and they made me a fresh one and I was gone within five minutes. Awesome food! The food is ok. I am not a fan of their fries but at least they are different. Great shakes. The burgers are ok. The French dip is not bad. The only issue is this is the slowest restaurant on earth. Disgusting! We waited in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes for two small salads! When we finally got them they hadn't included any forks or napkins so we had to pull back into the parking lot to get utensils inside. The salads smelled musty and were full of slimy black bits of lettuce. The bean sprouts on the Asian salad smelled and tasted moldy. We could smell the French fry oil wafting out of the kitchen and it smelled rancid and like a dairy farm or a cattle ranch... I don't think it was an off day, this is just their M.O. ...
