Absolutely the WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST Automotive Shop. More than $4900 later, in on more than one occasion, and still did not fix all the problems. They ALWAYS have a reason. Had it for 4 weeks - I had to use Uber/Lyft, I had to call THEM every day, vice them calling me on status; had I not ever called, I believe they just would not call - they will do easy oil and filter or simple things ahead of you and NEVER tell you they can't fix your problem, well, mostly they can fix it, but not totally...and rather tell you that, they just let the car sit. On our other vehicle prior to the LAST STRAW, again now 3.5 weeks, NEVER called to give an update, yet every time I called they always had an 'answer' to buy more 'time'...translation: they are working on other vehicles if they can't diagnose your problem fast. I know this because I would drive by in another vehicle, daily, and see that our other car had not moved. Yet when I call they say they are doing 'this' or 'that' - because they want to 'save you money' ABSOLUTE BS! Every time we've walked in there, we walk out with close to $1000 but usually $1900+ (the magic number is around 2000 for them), where the car at least is running but not all problems fixed as they were instructed. Because they've had it for SO long, we just pay it and leave. Just recently, after 3+ weeks (the broken straw), again, we drove by every other day, noticed our car had NOT been moved, yet whenever we called to get an update, they always said they have to do this, and that, and get this person in and that person in etc. and that they would call to give us a status on what they found out - zilch, nada, no call. Yet whenever WE call, they always have an 'answer' or what they need to do next etc. I've implored them face to face to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just tell us if you can't fix the car - but they NEVER do. Meanwhile they try replacing parts, indicating that may be the problem, and run up a bill. This is so they get paid for their diagnostic time. In between horror stories, I had my dad go in for a simple oil and filter change. Since we live close, we drove the car back to my house for my dad to visit awhile before going home. It's just the way I am, I popped the hood to ensure everything looked clean and good for dad's pride and joy - lo and behold, they FORGOT TO PUT the oil filler cap back on. Basic oil and filter = Grade F. Of course we are NEVER EVER going back - and of course we will do our part to ensure everyone knows how lowsy their business practice is. DO NOT GO THERE!! I had a terrific experience at Dynamic Auto. I have lived in the area for years and this particular place has had many different owners. My hope after the experience I had today is that it will remain under the same ownership! The service was excellent. Franky went above and beyond the repair I needed (oil pan malfunction) and the price was more than fair. I'd give 0 stars if possible. They did a "full inspection" on my car. They didn't even bother to use an obd2 scanner. They "fixed" my CV joints and realigned my wheels. Turns out (found this out by going somewhere else) that the steering rack was shot which was causing an oil leak which ran into the wheel bearings, causing the bearings to wear out and causing my wheels to fall out of alignment. I needed to get a new tire because of the bad alignment. The mechanic that fixed Dynamic's mistakes said they shouldn't have alignened my wheels because there was clear, visible damage that needed to be fixed. Dynamic should not be alowed to operate as they're clearly incompetent auto mechanics. read more

Found this shop on yelp was a little skeptical, but the owner looked at my car and knew right away what was wrong with it. I was given an estimate and they didn't get offended when I told them I was going to shop around. They ended up being the most reasonable, so I called made an apt for a Saturday which was great. Arrived Saturday for my 9:30 a.m. apt. to find that they were late, but they were apologetic and told me my car should be ready by 2:30 and were on point. I arrived to pick up car they explained everything to me and even showed me the parts they replaced. He even told me what needs to be fixed in the future. Price was great, work was done properly and my car is back to running smoothly. I had my power steering pump and serpentine belt replaced. Only thing that broke my heart was seeing their poor guard dog Zoey with mange all over her and her eyes in bad shape if not for that I'd give them a 5! !! read more
