wow and wow first off let me tell you that I haven't been for a cleaning in at least 4 years (5or 6) I absolutely hate going I dislike the sounds and the smells of a dental office and I avoid at all cost. How ever I did know that I needed a cleaning so I dug deep into reviews and asked all my neighbors and Dynamic Dental kept popping up. So after weeks of putting it off (months) I made an appointment. They say that you can tell a lot about a practice from the reception people working there... well let me tell you that they WERE all amazing and funny and very easy to chat with . Jen in particular was adorable. She paired me with Melissa , who did my cleaning and I have to say that it did not hurt , I'm not saying I enjoyed it , but it didn't hurt and it's now three hours later and my teeth feel great ! ( And look a LOT better too ) Melissa could not have been better , she was kind and funny and understood my crazy fear of all things dental ! I never EVER thought I would write a review about a dental cleaning but if you are looking for A FABULOUS place to look after your teeth ... these people are IT!!! read more

Had been going to Dynamic Dental for years, since they were at their previous location in Mansfield. Never had a problem with hygienists or dentists. Front desk personnel don't understand how a patient could be upset being stuck with a $530 for a ROUTINE CLEANING because they couldn't bill my insurance first to make sure it went through. I was told it was my fault for not knowing my Aetna insurance coverage had ended. That is why I asked you to send the claim ahead of time so I wouldn't be stuck paying $530. Proceeded to ask the front desk if they could try billing it to my new insurance through Mass Health. Woman said they are not contracted with Mass Health for my age (how does that even work?) but offered to send the claim and attempt. Thank you. I asked if she could let me know if the claim goes through, she said yes. I left the office expecting to receive a phone call. Nothing for 2 months. Get a bill in the mail yesterday from them for the above mentioned amount. Okay what's up with that. Call the office and they say they can't even find me in their system and will call me back today. No call again. I call the office again and get the woman who said she would bill Mass Health. Said she did and it didn't go through. Okay, no call? She said I was unrespectful (disrespectful) and irate. I never raised my voice or used foul language, of course I am upset I have to pay $530 would you not be? Told me she never said she would call me. Also said she removed me from their system as I am no longer welcome as a patient. Was very upset about my google review and said it was untrue. "I go above and beyond for my patients but not when they don't treat me with respect." Judging by other reviews billing is not only an issue for me, look inward please. read more

Going to the dentist is something most people don't look forward to attending. I had a couple older fillings that needed to be replaced, it was no big deal! The dentist Was great wave the injections. I never felt them go in. No problems whatsoever, highly recommended! read more

I called today, looking to see if they were taking new patients because I want interested in a custom night guard and getting checked-out. The receptionist said, they would do a consult first and scan. I asked her if that included X-rays because I was pregnant and wanted to make sure that it wouldn't harm the baby. She said, no - I asked her if the scanning can be harmful - she said, I don't know, I don't do it, I'm not the dentist. Well that was quite rude and she could have simply put me on hold to ask a dentist or told me they would get back to me or said unfortunately, I don't have that information for you at this time. Clearly their customer service is not great over the phone, so I don't want to imagine what it would be like in office. I kindly told her I was all set, and hung up. For me to take the time to complain about a dentist office is amazing. there business practice has as many people in there billing and administration as they have actually taking care of teeth. They have very questionable billing practices and love to spin it on to there patients, as if insurance payment don't come in their time frame, they immediately default to you, even if it's their mistakes on on the filing the proper paperwork.. There hygienist are the only saving grace of this practice they are usually very conscientious. The dentist's are in and out within a minute. I personally have had two root canals here and have lost both to extraction within months of there work most resent was because follow up appointment was postponed then covid 19 happened, but should have been taken care of before this hit, waiting 5 weeks for follow up after post work is not exceptable... My family was one of there first clients when they first opened with the original owner, before the new large dental building was built. It was personalized care, and drs, hygienists took the time needed to make sure cleaning were done properly and Dr reviewed your mouth and X-rays. I feel now the personalized care is gone, and everything is rushed. i am in between jobs, had a teeth cleaning coming up. Called to confirm appointment and only request a cleaning, instead of additional xrays and dr review, do to costs, ( dr review usually took about 3 minutes max????) (should have told me something long ago). Anyway, after quoting cleaning price, received a text less than 24 hrs from appointment indicating that after review of my plan the price was now $66 more. I inquired about what plan they were talking about (it wasn't my insurance coverage plan, didn't have one)??? After repeated attempts to understand what plan they were talking about, I still didn't get an answer, I only received incoherent non specific unrelated verbiage that didn't explain anything about what plan they were referring to. It seems that the plan there were talking about, was the service I was receiving every time I went, cleaning, X-rays, dr review. $$$$$$ Now it seems coincidentally that since I only requested a cleaning, and not the extras that they can charge for. The updated additional cost of just having a cleaning is professionally ethically suspect as to biases. I have been a client for 10+ years. It's seems the new management is financially driven, shameful. Now I have had many services over the years and we're generally pleased with the results. However, with continued growth, and assembly line feel, I believe it's time to look for the personal care touch of an up and coming smaller practice again. 10 years as a reliable valuable client means nothing when not being able to up charge for additional financials get involved. Very relaxed atmosphere, which is important to me :) The hygienists are all very friendly and reassuring - and best of all gentle on my teeth. My three daughters now go here too, and they actually look forward to their dental appointments - no small feat! Such a rip off and really bad practice. I took my son here and was told he needed 4 cavities. I got two filled but something in me told me to get a second opinion since he never complained about a thing. The other dentist (who I now live and does not rip us off) said his teeth were absolutely perfect. This is years later now and he has still has not had one cavity! I'm thinking to right this now because my older daughter got Invisalign through them. I thought it was harmless, it's close to her work and the other opinion she got wanted to gum surgery first and she really didn't want to do that. Come to find out, not doing that surgery first (which Dynamic said nothing about) would just move her teeth right back unless she wore the Invisalign for life!!! $6k later and her teeth look exactly the same AND the split the payments into 3 and automatically deducted the last one TWICE!!! Sadly, I can not warn you enough to steer clear of this place. read more

I had a scheduled orthodontic appointment on 3/30/2020 for a check-up, and to also receive new Invisalign trays and turn the old trays in. Well with everything that is going on with COVID-19, I was called by the office and my appointment was cancelled and rescheduled to a later date. Upon knowing that the new scheduled appointment would also be cancelled, Dr. Marissa Reason called me personally and told me that she would be at the office at a certain time if I wanted to pick up my new trays. This level of service goes above and beyond what I expected. I assumed that I would just stay in my current Invisalign tray until the shelter in place order was lifted. Firstly, I love that Dynamic Dental has a very open channel of communication with their patients. Days prior to my appointment, I received e-mails from Lisa regarding my price quote and my patient forms. They double checked to make sure I was okay with the price I was paying before I went to my appointment, so I could budget accordingly. Also, I had the opportunity to fill out all of my patient forms PRIOR to my visit. This made my appointment go EXTREMELY smoothly! I felt comfortable and well cared for the minute I set foot into the Dynamic Dental office. The receptionists were both very friendly and delightful. Erica, the assistant to the Dr. Kaplan, was extremely pleasant and caring. She made sure I was comfortable at all times. Dr. Kaplan went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did he perform my root canal quickly and efficiently (with no pain!), he made me feel like I was in great hands (not to mention he's a comedian!) The part that made this experience go from good to AMAZING is the follow up. 8 hours after my root canal, Dr. Kaplan called me personally to check up on me! This practice is fantastic. The staff is so professional and responsive.They have the newest technology. Had excellent bonding correction done on a tooth that had been slightly broken. A previous dentist did not have the same skills as those in this office. Laurie is the best, cleans my teeth with such precision and assures you are comfortable. Great marketing and awesome overall appeal with a nice office and nice staff but clinically I had a poor experience. I had never had a botched filling before and the second I went here I ended up needing to have the same filling repaired twice. My husband had the same issue having to go back for revisions and still has a spot where he keeps getting food stuck. We are now at a different dentist and haven't had issues. It could have been the dentist that we saw. I had a great experience with the hygienists. And for the record...I did reply to the message below from the manager and changed my review from 1 star to 2 because i appreciated the outreach and concern. read more

My experience at Dynamic Dental was outstanding. From the secretaries, hygenists, and dentists. Ive always had an issue with needles and the dentist. This was not a problem at Dynamic Dental, they didnt judge me. I had a tooth pulled today and not only did the dentist come right in when my anxiety was getting bad but he cared and so did his assistant. I spent my visit laughing with them before and after! Terrible customer service. In full disclosure, they had "fired" me as a client about a year ago because the number I had on file wasn't updated and I wasn't keeping my appointments. When I called after receiving a letter in the mail all was "forgiven." I have made every appointment since, and have taken last minute offerings when available. Today I called to move my cleaning to either a little later in the day or reschedule due to a family emergency. I was told if I rescheduled I'd be fired again as a client. Not even four minutes on the phone, and I agreed to keep the appointment and figure out my situation later.... they told me that timing had already been filled and that I was no longer considered a customer. I have two teeth that need to be polished from a filling that they previously worked on- miraculously they are available TODAY to take care of that, but won't allow me any other services. read more

I am new to town and was looking for a new Dentist when I stumbled across Dynamic Dental , I had never had a cavity in my life prior to coming to this clinic where I was told I needed TWELVE fillings.. today I received a second opinion from a great Dr. who has been in practice 30 years.. guess what?! Dentists only care about making money. I needed an emergency sealant on a crown, and they told me to go elsewhere for that, and then to go back to them when I wanted the "new" crown "or implants" - I had mentioned I wanted one of the two..... so they obviously care only about the big ticket items, and not the patient. I ended up getting an appointment withe another local dentist, who welcomed me with open arms! read more

I went in for a cleaning, and found that my former dentist hadn't told me after the deep cleaning she performed, that it needed to be cleaned every 3 months after it. SO, I now need another deep cleaning! Grrrr. the cleaning went fine and I headed home. I stopped to buy pizza for dinner and when I bit into the pizza, the tooth I had chipped, and was scheduled to repair, broke! It wasn't hurting, but needed it fixed sooner than my next appointment. So, I called DD to tell them what happened. They said that, since it wasn't an emergency, but shouldn't wait, that they would find an opening for me. DD called me every day to tell me that they hadn't forgotten me, and were working to get me in. A week later there was an opening I could use. Unfortunately, I was having breathing problems due to allergies, as well as my COPD. I didn't even think about it when I went in, but it DID cause problems for me. I had trouble breathing and needed the dentist to stop a few times. They even got an oxygen tank for me. I was VERY embarrassed, but they were terrific. They even gave me snacks to eat before driving home, to make sure I was okay before they let me drive. They were terrific, and I highly recommend them. As for me, no more appointments during allergy season! LOL And, I love their new offices. They are very easy to get to and there's plenty of parking! read more

The staff has changed over a couple of years we were with them. You never know who will be your doctor at the next checkup, and these doctors don't really care due to short tenure: look at you 30 seconds and tell you you are all set. They missed several cavities (4) even they checked me so often- I was doing cleaning every 3 months for the last a couple of years. Dr Alison and Dr Kaplan - really great - left the practice. Recent visit after my exray were done I had no follow up with the doctor at all. The practice has great and nice front desk. Stick to an office where you see the same professional with each visit.
