During that visit, Dr. Schenkman gave me the news no one wants to get: You have cancer. I don't have words to describe the caring and empathy shown by Dr. Schenkman and the entire staff that day, it was like I was the only patient there. They referred me to an ENT and followed up after to check and see how I was doing. Perhaps a year later I ran in to Dr. Schenkman at the Y where he was picking up his children. Dr. McGough and her assistant could not have been more upbeat and pleasant. When it was determined that I needed a root canal, they happily stayed late until they finished me at 6:45 PM. I can't say enough good things about this practice. I have had other root canals done here with various other doctors and they all have the same work ethic and amazing patient care.
