I am writing this review to help anyone that is trying to decide to make an appointment here or not. I was very hesitant at first just because trying a new dentist is always difficult. I decided to risk it and made an initial appointment, to the person complaining about DD making a huge deal about appointments, it's not like they don't try but they are super busy and they send text reminders and confirmations to help keep your appointment which I appreciate. So if you are going to make an appointment keep it otherwise you will have to wait longer. Now as far as the staff they were nice helpful and overall patient. I got cavities filled did laser treatment on gums and had a crown put in, so yes I was hesitant to do the work because of cost, but they worked with me in figuring out the best route for my needs. My first appointment was going to be long and I was a little scared hello needles lol, but everyone was reassuring and made me feel good. Didn't even feel when the Dr. Montalvo pricked me with the needle to numb me, he was very light handed. Procedure went well I know my teeth needed a lot of help. Hygienist was also just as amazing and friendly, she explained everything before it happened and about care after. On my second visit I was more relaxed and I even fell asleep while I was getting my crown put in. They are amazing friendly and I recommend to anyone. Overall my insurance covered a little over half and I paid around $1,000 out of pocket, but I know I needed the work and in the end you need your teeth right I don't want to be young and with dentures so I consider it an investment. I plan on coming here for a long time and hopefully bringing my family here as well. read more

I went in for a cleaning, which is not a comfortable experience to begin with, but between Dr. Andrade and Monica, I felt as calm and comfortable as I could be. Five stars is not enough to express how happy I am with Dynamic Dental and Dr. Andrade. My temporary crown fell off this morning halfway to Sacramento so when I got here I stopped at the drugstore and attempted a self fix. It bothered me all day and about 4:15 pm it fell off again. I called another office who labeled themselves Emergency Dentist but they could not see me. When I called Dynamic Dental and told them that I had tried the self fix and that I was in pain, they agreed to see me at the end of the day with almost no notice. I received compassionate service from all involved and excellent dental care. I love the quote "Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you". This summarizes my experience today. I live four hours away, this practice was not going to gain me as a patient and they knew it and they inconvenienced themselves and helped me anyway. Thanks is not enough! read more

Dynamic Dental has proven to be a complete lifesaver for me! I'm someone who (sadly) hadnt been to the dentist in several years, and only came across Dynamic through the excellent advice of a friend. For the past year, I had been having nagging toothaches, and decided to deal with them with Alleve. Just a few weeks ago, the pain became too much to deal with. Although I like to consider myself a pretty tough guy, I knew that Alleve was no longer cutting it. I have always hated the dentist, and was very nervous about going in. When I got there, Dr. Montalvo was very warm and welcoming. They put me at ease, and her manner was superb! She explained the procedures that I needed, and made sure that I was comfortable going forward. Knowing that I needed some pretty major work done, I was petrified, both about the perceived pain and cost. Both were much less painful than I anticipated. Dr. Montalvo and her staff were amazing, and I only wish that I had seen her sooner. read more

I absolutely LOVE this office. The people are so incredibly friendly and the whole atmosphere is pleasent . My 5year old Grandson had some anxieties about going to any dentist after a bad experience with his first dentist. They were absolutely amazing with him. They did everything they could to get his xrays. They didn't force him or get angry with him. That is why I stay with them! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I absolutely need to make it known how ridiculous my experience was with Dynamic Dental. I had an accident where I fell down and my front four teeth were pushed in and I pushed them out. Previously, I've had jaw surgery and my jaw surgeon recommended I see a dentist to get some x-rays knowing it was possible that I might need a root canal done later on. When I went to Dynamic Dental, they told me I needed four root canals done as soon as possible ( that friday if I could swing it) and my total would be around 9 thousand dollars. I then told them I would contact my surgeon and when I did, my surgeon recommended I waited on the root canals and just had fillings done temporarily since teeth are not predictable and root canals may or may not be completely necessary. The next day, I called and made an appointment with dynamic dental to get these fillings done on two of my teeth that were chipped for the next Monday. On Saturday, I received a LETTER IN THE MAIL saying Dynamic Dental no longer wished to work with me because I SOUGHT A SECOND OPINION!! FROM MY MAXOFACIAL JAW SURGEON!! WHO ID BEEN WORKING WITH FOR TEN PLUS YEARS!! So on Saturday, when I received that letter I called the office. There voicemail said "we are not here over the weekends but we do receive the calls and call back over the weekend". I left a voice message saying " hi, I have an appointment on Monday to get these fillings done, ive already taken the day off of work to do this and now im confused as to whether or not youll do this work that we have scheduled" anyway, they never called me back, I ended up getting a filling done elsewhere, and I ended up only needing one root canal in the end- that was done at Dr. Hulls office in Folsom (absolutely incredible endodontic work if you need a root canal done) and Dynamic Dental TOTALLY tried to rip me off and screw me over again, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I found Dynamic Dental after I retired and didn't want to go downtown anymore. They did a good job cleaning my teeth, but then I was told I needed a crown; so they fitted me for a crown but then I was told that, before installation, I would have to sign a waiver stating that if I was unhappy about the crown that I would have to pay to have it replaced. Afterwards I discovered that chewing gum would catch in my new crown, so that when I attempted to spit out the gum, I couldn't entirely. This was concerning, so I found a different dentist who told me that he wouldn't have done my new crown that way, but it was done now. So here it is 3 years later, and at my last exam I was told that there is decay developing under the crown and that it should be replaced. Unfortunately my insurance company, Dental Dental, won't cover it because it is too new. read more

Dynamic dental saved my life, at least 2 of my teeth, and a chronic clenching jaw problem. I'm not exaggerating about any of this. I was on a work trip in Sacramento, away from my dentist, when I had a really bad night of clenching my teeth. When I woke up my jaw was so sore I could hardly chew. Two of my molars were especially pissed off. I couldn't chew anything on that side of my mouth. Unable to focus on my work I set about trying to find a dentist that would fit me in even though I was an out of Towner. Their office was super attentive and sympathetic from the very first phone call and got me an appointment that morning. With in an hour of my call. They assessed that my gums and teeth were in bad shape and left untreated would have lead to a bad bacterial infection.... Life threatening. But not to fear they did surgery on the spot, to clean up the immediate problem and save my life and those 2 teeth from further infection. Then they gave me Botox injections to help calm down my overacting jaw clenching muscle. A revolutionary, yet simple procedure that I'm sure my local dentist does not do. Lastly they made me a custom molded night guard to further help my problem in the long term and they had their nurses work extra hard to get it done in the same day. This could have been a terrible and frightening experience but dr. Andrade and dr. M were super professional, friendly and sympathetic. They really educated me about all my options and we're kind and upbeat every step of the way. I can't imagine how amazing they are to people who have been Seeing them for years. I have changed dentists so many times because of moving and just not liking certain ones. Dynamic Dental is, hands down, the best dentist office I've ever been to. Dr. Montalvo, Dr. Andrade, Linda (a hygienist), and all the receptionists are so friendly and funny. I have a major fear of going to the dentist after spending a great portion of my childhood at the orthodontist. I'd been putting off a root canal for a few years, but it really started bothering me, so after reading some reviews of dentists in the Sacramento area, I decided on Dynamic Dental. I am glad I did. Had an appointment for a crown that I wasn't going to be able to make it due to work (too many people out sick, there was no way I could have made the appointment). I called the day before to cancel, and spoke to Diane. Upon asking me for the reason I wanted to reschedule my appointment, she apparently deemed it not sufficient and decided to punish me by making me wait until mid March for the next appointment (2 months away). Seriously, I'm an adult with a legitimate excuse to reschedule, and the decency to call ahead to reschedule, and she may not have meant it this way, but it is certainly how it came across. She gave me some line about people wanting to use their benefits and that being her first available appointment. I logged into their online appointment system, and there are literally hundreds of appointments listed between now and March. Meanwhile, I'm on a time deadline because I had a root canal with no crown to protect the tooth. I've already called another dentist whose office staff was much more courteous than Dr. Montalvo's. The doctor is nice, the office is beautiful, but the office staff needs some additional customer service training. I need a lot of tooth work done too, way to go Diane, lost Dr. Montalvo a lot of money! read more

I must say I have been seeing Dr. Andrade and Dr. Montalvo since their opening and i have never ever been happier....they have been so good to my son and I. They always make sure that we are comfortable and pain free during any treatments...on top of that they are very honest and value their work...Not only are Dr. Andrade and Dr. Montalvo the best dentists I've ever had but they both have the biggest hearts. They truly care about their patients. It upsets me to see bad reviews about this office some of you seem to find it necessary to continue your "updates" of your so called bad experience....I think it's time u let it go...i mean how many years has it been anyway? To all of u looking for good honest Dentists atleast give this office a try. Don't let one disgruntled psycho scare u...i have referred many to this office, and not one complaint to this day! I was in this office for the first time and I really loved it. I switched from my old office because of how they treated me. My crown broke and I needed to do bridge. At that time we couldn't afford it so we took time to think what we're going to do. My husband got me new insurance so we told them about that, they said they need to call them to be verified that I am registered there and then they need to call us back to make the appointment. Never happened. To let you know it was the front tooth and it was visible. So we called Dynamic Dental they called the insurance and made the appointment really fast, like in fifteen minutes. The stuff is really caring and nice. They took time to talk and explain everything to me, during the treatment they made sure I'm not nervous or anything. I could have rated 10 if I could to. Now I have my temporary bridge in one visit and I don't have to hide my smile anymore. Thank dear Doctor! read more
