I been attending that gym for a year in Katy , so I canceled my plan on October because I had to move for another state ,also I had the email with my sign that's proves I canceled before leave , In my contract I don't agree with renew that's mean than can't keep charge after one year anyway but they continued to charge me,I had to ask a friend for help to call customer service .than I received another email said the cancel process right now take 30 days and I will be responsible for any payment . Today is 01/26 pass more then 30 days and they still charge me 75 dólares this month , this is frustrating read more

Alright, I legit love this gym. I pay the $10 monthly membership which is such a steal IMO since they have any piece of equipment I ever want to use. I absolutely LOVE that you can access the gym 24/7 as long as you tie your gym membership to an app that uses Bluetooth to electronically unlock the entrance once you have the app set up and completely tied to your account. I go early in the mornings and many gyms that are closer don't open until 7am, and I work early so I have to go super early. I regularly see that staff taking out the trash, and also see a regular cleaning staff going around cleaning. Months ago they sent out an emailed survey asking how members think they could improve, and they actually responded to me and let me know that what I requested (more adjustable benches vs flat benches) was already in the works to be added, and they were! The staff seems friendly though I go early enough that sometimes they aren't always there so I don't interact with them too much. My only "downside" would be that sometimes the RRs can be a little dirty, but again I go very early in the morning before most staff shows up so I understand. They have lots of parking and the gym is spacious. Not sure how the ratings aren't higher. read more

First of all , I went here because i was recommended to attend this gym. Now , my first experience was horrible . I went in to try to enjoy my workout and I saw some horrible people. One I never saw any employee to talk to or ask questions. I saw this guy scream at someone for no reason . I m not sure if it was a race thing but those two guys were just trying to work out . This gym would be alright if it maintained the equipment. The free weight section is a joke, missing safety bars for the sqaut racks and every single solitary barbell is bent. The place is begging for an injury. No matter how much you complain they just leave it as is. You pay your monthly fee only for them to paint the gym for a 3rd time or buy a machine that nobody asked for. The environment leaves me more drained and miserable than anything else. I have been a member for many years and have paid a personal trainer in my profession I service most of my clients in the Katy area and had always referred my clients to my gym. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience during a big event two days ago. Ryan the events coordinator did me so wrong. Big even was taking place with vendors and raffles I signed up for the raffle and hopped on the treadmill whic is a few steps from the front desk. I noticed I had a text letting me know I had won the 75inch tv messaged was sent at 10:07am I went to the front desk at 10:15am Ryan claimed I was late. He said I had only 10 min to claim my prize. even though it was still within the 10min rules he made up that second he just didn't want to be fair he offered me a shirt and a drink instead. The rules on the screen to enter the raffle were you must be present to win. I was very much present. Ryan is never at this location I attend this gym 5-6 times a week Ryan doesn't know any of us gym members first time I had seen Ryan. he claimed he went looking for me lol the entire time I'm steps away from the front desk. There were 3 other winners the gym crew went looking for them so they could claim their prize. very disappointed in how Ryan handled this situation Intentional bias. I spoke to the owner and he claimed he couldn't do anything on the situation because it was all up to Ryan someone that we don't even know never seen or me. This was bias behavior at its best. I have never experienced this kind of treatment so it definitely hurt. I'm writing this review because we should never stay quiet when treated differently this has to stop! More training is definitely needed we are all important here and fairness across the board is a must. it's definitely not about the TV but this definitely was Bias behavior from this individual. I will not recommend this gym, check your acct they tend to take extra funds "by mistake" Sauna is not working hasn't been working for the past 3 month but they are charging members for the sauna service. The restrooms are always disgusting the cleaning person always seems to quit always a new cleaning person who are extremely unhappy with the demands n little pay. My commute is convenient to this gym and to me time is important. I haven't received an apology from management so this here says a lot. I have been back after this sour moment it definitely feels different. Ryan needs more training and a class on telling time. Disappointed in the owners response to me. he should know what is happening in his gym. shame on you extremely poor customer service and Managemen. It would have been easier to make it right! This is for the Barker Cypress location. (Katy) When I walk in I feel uplifted, I like the vibe that this location offers. There are plenty of machines, plenty of light and plenty of friendly people. I love all the amenities, I use the pool although the water is super cold it still feels good, the saunas are a plus. I have not yet used the IR room but the time will come... The lockers are large, the showers are clean, the cleaning lady is super lovely and the front desk staff really seems to care. This is a very pleasant environment conducive to a good and longer workout. read more

RUNN!!!! This is by far the worst gym in Houston. Please avoid at any cost because you'll definitely pay in the long RUN! I signed up with this gym with good expectations, It seemed fairly cheap and nearby so I signed up... BIG MISTAKE! My experience was awful !!! A complete waste of time!!! IT'S LIKE A CIRCUS ! Let's start with the Locker rooms that are filthy, machines have a waitlist or broken. I was afraid to even sit in the sauna that are consistently packed to the Max. NO ONE WIPES ANY of the equipment down as if Covid-19 never existed. They make you purchase a heart monitoring belt that's never used or even explained how to use (very unnecessary) HAVEN'T USE IT ONCE ... When I first joined 'the lady whom signed me up never even explained how to set up it even use their app, I had to learn through out visits .... After six months at this gym I was given only 2 of the monthly body scan matrix weight in's (that's included in once a month w/the membership). SEVERAL Personal trainers just Up and Quit!! This whole building is a waste of time. The staff doesn't care about the hygiene of the facility, or promise's they make upon initial, sign-up. 10 people will call a day like bill collectors and hound you about personal training "opportunities " once you sign up the PT quits. And then you're stuck in a contract for personal training sessions with any random person they decide for the day... Since it was a contract I simply paid it off' with a cc' to stop the multiple reoccurring charges for the personal trainer.(Requested to ONLY PAY the personal trainer balance off since he up and quit ) they changed my regular gym membership, which is bi weekly payments to the card I requested them NOT too!!!! livid!!!!! I spoke to the front desk and of course there was no empathy or concern ON THEIR ERROR. let's just CANCEL THIS SH**!!!.... I'd rather pay hundreds a month too another gym That's consistent ,and won't flake' then to ever deal with them again. I have had the worst experience ever at this particular gym in Katy!! Honestly I wish I had read the reviews for this Godforsaken hell hole! These guys are a total scam. I was offered a membership for 23 (or so) cents for a month. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to cancel this, only to find out I had been roped into a contract, something I heavily specified I did not want, and was told I had to buy my way out! NEVER was I EVER told this was a contract instead of a trial and that I would have to pay out 150 dolllars!!!! And even to freeze the account it is a hassle as they charge you for that too! STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLUB AT ALL COSTS!!!! BLOCK COLTON AT ALL COSTS UPDATE: After a while of having to talk on the phone, I reached a reasonable agreement to end this. I have visited a few times since I started to use my GymPass. It allows me to visit select gyms throughout the city. Dynamic is one of those. My membership with GymPass means that its not through Dynamic so I have no issues with them over membership like some of the other reviews. I have only used their treadmills and some weight machines but all have worked well with no issues. I did a brief tour on one of my visits and they have a lot of amenities a pool, workout classes and even a tanning room! It's convenient for me to where I live so I will continue to use them as needed. read more

Went twice after joining. Front desk never greeted me. On one occasion I had an appointment and the gentleman that made it didn't even show up. No one called to follow up. I ended up working out on my own which was fine. But, I could've come at a different time. Had he not insisted on scheduling a workout. The second time I came in I went to a group class that had too many people in it and ended up sick 3 days later. I never went back and never got ONE call! Contract or not I won't be back. read more

Little did I know the reps inside signed me for a yearly membership I didn't receive any notices or receipt not payment confirmation. For a whole year they took money from my account. Even auto renewal. After jumping through hoops to cancel they still charged me 3 more payments. I had to cancel my credit card to avoid anymore Fuad charges as I didn't agree to any of this and I am still fighting them over the charges as they want even more money from me. I hate to say it but this is the worst gym management i've ever experienced. Out of all of gyms in Houston, dynamic likes to act so special with their downgrading, upgrading and cancelling methods. I called and tried to downgrade my membership and was told I had to pay the entire rest of my account before I could ever downgrade. I was a member previously, and I'm contemplating going back, but there were some issues that I discussed with a few staff members that didn't seem to be taken seriously. Issue #1: I swim and workout in the pool. Every day members come into the pool area to get away from the loud music in the gym to talk on their phones. Their discussions are loud and echo throughout the pool area. Likewise, people in the spa that turn on their cell phones to play music loud enough to hear over the jets. It's rude, insensitive and disrespectful to others who are working out, as I count my repetitions and am there to work on me, and not be forced to listen to a multitude of reverberated music or conversations. Pool needs to be a cell phone/music restricted area. Issue #2: The shower heads in the stalls blows water straight out and gets everything wet. The handicapped shower head is so high that it's hard for a handicapped person to reach up to grab it. There should also be a bench in the dry area next to the handicapped shower to keep dry clothes on and to dry off so there is no fear of slipping. An inside hook latch would be nice on the dressing rooms as people just open the door without knocking to see if anyone is in there. read more

I went to this gym once. They offered for me to start a membership for less than a dollar so I agreed. The issue is there was a block on my card and the payment never went through to activate the membership. Beat again I only visited the gym once and now they put me in collections saying I owe how many thousands of dollars. They are out of their minds. Apparently they are dishonest and are billing me for something that I should not be billed for. They have sent me to collections and have people calling me every day to collect and threatening to report on my credit. They are running a scam. I am currently disputing this debt. read more

I use to love this facility but with the new staff and trainers there, it's really downgraded the quality of the facility. Upon walking out of the facility one day one of the trainers shouted at me calling me a "bi€h@ss (u!t!" I brought it to the attention of management (which if you're attempting to get in touch with them for any reason, it's impossible) and there's still no resolution. This is nothing short of sexual harassment from a male professional who is supposed to be a personal trainer and be in direct contact and face to face with the women members in the facility. It has been 2 weeks and there is still no resolution nor have I actually been able to contact anyone who has any authority nor cares to handle the situation. As a female in the fitness industry, I would never recommend this facility to anyone. If you're a women, definitely not!! It use to be great but not now. There are several documented communications between myself and whoever may be monitoring the Instagram DM. That's the best I could find in order to communicate with the facility. That should say enough about the lack of communication. Poor communication and condones and promotes the sexual harassment and dis-respect of women who are already in an uncomfortable setting!! read more

Do NOT go to this gym. I tried to cancel my membership during covid due to gym closures and could not get a live person to answer my calls but did leave a message to cancel. Then, I submitted a cancellation through the on-line Dynamic Fitness message portal to cancel. They not only continued to attempt to charge me when the gym was closed but they placed a sum of owed money on my credit report that dropped my credit score by 28 points even though the gym was closed and I never went back. It's wrong to charge customers during covid who are not even utilizing the service. That is not only bad for us (as a community) but is also financially unethical. read more

Not the best place I have ever trained at. The maintenance is heavily needed for the equipment. The members leave the weights in disarray. I had a week trial and before I could even try the facility I was being pressured into a sale. The staff really need to update their understand of a customers needs. All in all this is a health club that needs to be taken care of. I would NOT join just because there are so many better facilities in the area. read more

Great gym with amazing people. Buuuuut their supplement department could use some attention. Check it out, I work out 5 days a week. I TRY to buy the salted caramel Lean body protein shake EVERYDAY but they never seem to have it so I just make a shake when I get home. Let's talk about revenue loss. That's roughly 5 dollars a day for 5 days a week. That's roughly 100 dollars a month on revenue loss due to not stocking this specific item. Now I understand it may be discontinued but I let them know everyday yet it hasn't been attended to. Place is a fraud! I received this FREE 7 day workout coupon from the hotel that I am residing at for the week. The cards were delivered to the hotel by a Jon C who's signature is on the back of the card. When I got to the fitness center I was told that this coupon is for locals which it does not specify! My response was why take them to a hotel if it was just for locals. I was told then that I would have to pay to work out and that the free pass could not be honored! Am I missing something? I've been really pleased with this gym. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The trainers are cool and helpful. 24hr access is a plus. I like the turf area, and variety of equipment they have. They have a dry sauna and steam sauna, which the dry sauna was recently redone. I like the hydromassage chairs and infrared pod for recovery too. They also have an inbody scan, which is nice to track progress. Also, I like their app, it has the schedule of all the classes, and now has where you can update your billing and make payments. read more

I did pay for a trainer for 7 months and when I went to cancel my training it was a Nightmare. It seemed like no one had the time to help me. I got the run around and pain and grief from the only one who could cancel my training. I had to go to Management to get help. I have now cancelled my membership with Dynamic Fitness and I am going to Planet Fitness and I am very happy there. Beware of Dynamic Fitness they don't care about you. I have been a member for a very long time as well as my husband and sister. Plus, I have always referred this gym to all my friends and family. I decided to take on a few training sessions. I sat down and spoke to Stefan (manager) signed up for 6 weeks of training. One this gym doesn't send out notices to remind you that your sessions will be over soon. I called the gym to terminate the sessions was told I needed to go in person, so I did. signed N terminated I later called and spoke to Stefan and this is when all hell broke. He said that the club member who should have terminated the sessions and withdrawals, but he made a mistake and I still had two more transactions pending. I was ok with that we all make mistakes. He asked why I was terminating I was honest n Told him one A belt was forced on to me in order to train (myzone) I still gave it a chance but what did it for me was the fact that no notice of the sessions coming to an end was sent to me as a courtesy a reminder. After I said this Stefan rude very unprofessional extremely aggressive, I could not believe how he was treating me he was so loud and wouldn't stop talking over me. If I am the customer, I would like to go over my classes my training and what I see that they have taken out of my bank acct. I let the mistake slide and willing to pay the two more pending transactions it's not about money it's about customer service. This poor customer service is what did it for me. It's a shame because these trainers are amazing. I talk to 70% of the gym clients believe me they will all know how I was treated. He tried to apologize and said he got out of hand and asked if I was willing to give the training another try, I said no! not after this he blew up again. I told him I would report this behavior he said it will be difficult since he is the manager. What he doesn't understand is by his behavior the owner and trainers are the only ones affected very sad. I wish I had a better review to write, but there just isn't anything good to say. The employees don't care about the gym goers, half of the time they're sitting on the counter on their phone socializing with each other. It gets so insanely packed and their is no crowd control with the amount of people that are allowed in. There is a turf area but it is always being used by the people who have personal trainers leaving no room for the general crowd. There just isn't anything outstanding about this gym, nothing that would make you want to chose this over all the other gyms. Specially not the price, that is charged BI WEEKLY. That seemed very strange to me also, they charge you bi-weekly. Also, if you have the most affordable membership, YOU CANT EVEN GO ON THE TURF. That seems insane to me also, but it really doesn't matter since there's no room ever anyways. Overall, there are better, more affordable gyms with employees who care and better equipment. read more
