However, when we moved into our new home, our internet service wasn't working. We decided to visit an Xfinity store in person, and thankfully, the staff was able to assist us. We discovered that professional installation was required because the home had never previously been connected to the Xfinity network. David and Omar were amazing--they helped us through the entire process and even provided a credit toward the professional installation fee to make up for the inconvenience we experienced. For any major service requests, such as moving your service to a new address, I would recommend visiting a store in person. Based on my experience, the online representatives were unable to provide accurate information, which led to unnecessary delays and frustration. We greatly appreciate David and Omar for taking the time to help us, and we will likely return to this store for any future service needs.

Nope. Nope. Nope…read more Comcast/ Xfinity is already hard enough to deal with... Profit over everything... That's what it feels like when dealing with Comcast / Xfinity. They keep raising prices on the regular, without providing any additional service or benefits. From my personal experience there's always some sort of issue while switching equipment out, the new stuff never works without any issues. Whenever I get a new box or some sort of system I'm always on the fixing it, never have I experienced the equipment integrating seamlessly. I end up spending anywhere from an hour to 5 hours resolving issues. Now, let's get to this location... On some of my previous visits I found this staff here is to be useless... The like they don't want to put an effort into actually answering or helping me with Xfinity issues. Sad to say this, but I've actually had much, much better luck in San Mateo! Worst part is; this location always feels busy and understaffed... SMH. Avoid this particular location if you are able to...

Occasionally it would stop working for a few days but then would start again. Finally this week I got frustrated when my wifi pass wouldn't work so I had no internet at home. I could only use the data on my cellphone which was really slow. I ended up signing up for a prepaid plan which was $30 per month but I couldn't get anybody to send a technician to my apartment to install a coaxial outlet because I don't have one. Eventually I got frustrated with xfinity and I signed up for T mobile internet. The t mobile internet has been great, although it is $65 / month so it's more expensive. Now my next battle is trying to cancel xfinity which has been a huge challenge. There is no button to cancel on their app or their website so next I'm going to try going to the store and hopefully I can stop the autopay for xfinity wifi pass and the prepaid too. Hopefully I can cancel my comcast because it's a $40 / month total that isn't giving me any internet at all.

I went to the website and they won't let me change the plans. The scam is to chat with the agent so they can add stuff to your plan and charge you additional fees. $39 to change plans and they Offer you "deals" that will triple the price after 1 year. I have plans to change providers after we move. These people are scumbags.

Sent them photos and they gave me a flat rate quote said they could be here today and that was that. The contractor showed up early, took him a little over 2 hours. He was very professional and did a great job. I'm very happy. I have nothing to complain about. Payment was easy. Once the contractor left the company sent me info on how to pay, I chose Zelle. Sent them screenshots to make sure it was the correct company I was sending money too, once again they answered right back and money was sent. Very easy.

Despite the job requiring two technicians, only one was sent. While he was friendly, he mounted the flatscreens crooked and off-center, left exposed wiring, and departed before completing the work--something I didn't notice until after he left. My attempts to resolve the situation with Fixtman were frustrating. I was passed between multiple "quality service representatives," faced overbilling attempts, and despite promises to send another professional, they stopped responding. The situation worsened when the technician obtained my personal number and harassed me for payment, threatening to visit until I paid. I sent him $200 to end the harassment. Thumbtack later reimbursed me, and when Fixtman eventually reached out about sending another technician, I declined further service. After closely examining reviews on Thumbtack, google and other platforms, I discovered this was a pattern with Fixtman and their technicians. Lesson learned: regardless of the number of positive reviews, always scrutinize negative and recent feedback!
