AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I should have listened to all the bad reviews he gets. I hope you do the same. Shady place. I paid for an optic cut same day service, dropped off on Tuesday afternoon, called Wednesday when to pick up my slide, he said 6:00pm, when they close. then told me to pick it up Thursday at 3:00 I had to work so I went on Friday at 12:00 when I got there it was not done, and was told,He "had an oven issue". I waited there another hour so he could actually do the work. Walked away with an offset optic cut. Not even centered. Now I can't co-sight with the optic rear sight. Look at the pics.

DON'T TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS SHOP terrible service I ordered my parts 12/21/24 was a custom slide and barrel for my p320 and still to this day haven't got my parts back and I am not the only one either. Always excuses on why the parts aren't done. Then when they are "done" something comes up. Found Pedro through the off-road raptor scene and seen a lot of people take him parts to get done. From what I have seen and heard from people I know your parts aren't getting done unless you are trading work. If you have nothing to trade him for work that benefits him and his truck you aren't getting your parts done anytime soon. Dude is hard to get ahold of weather that's through his shop number and instagram that he is always posting on. As well as his personal number. Supposed to get my parts on an upcoming off-road event coming up we'll see if he brings the parts like he said he would. Talk to any other shop this work that I am getting from Pedro SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS LONG AT ALL. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!

Update: 01/08/2026 ORDER #14138 This company is running a deliberate and deceptive operation. After contacting Pedro regarding the fact that USPS still had not received my slide for shipment, he provided excuse after excuse, including the absurd claim that USPS "loses packages" or "sends them elsewhere." A package does not magically go "elsewhere" when the correct address is on the label--unless it was never addressed correctly to begin with. The shipping label was created on 12/02, yet the package showed no real movement for weeks. On 12/27, tracking suddenly updated showing the package in Coppell, Texas. I am located in Northern California. That alone was a massive red flag. On 12/31 it showed Oakland, CA, and on 01/02 it arrived at my local USPS facility. Here is where the truth came out. Although Pedro previously sent me a label showing my address, the package was marked as delivered to a completely different address in my neighborhood. I immediately contacted USPS. They pulled the scanned package and confirmed that the label physically attached to the box was NOT my address. It was an entirely different address. USPS was very clear: the package was delivered to the address printed on the label, and they could not retrieve it. USPS explicitly stated that the shipper--Pedro--had shipped the package to the wrong address. This was not a USPS mistake. When confronted, Pedro's response was simply, "That blows." He refused to provide the address my property was shipped to and continued to claim he "packaged the slide himself," while simultaneously denying responsibility. He insisted it was shipped to my address, despite USPS confirming that was categorically false. At this point, the pattern is undeniable. This was not an accident. This was either gross negligence or intentional misdirection. Either way, my property is gone. Where to start. I had the same lead time issues that everyone else had but on top of that they milled too much material off the top of my slide and compromised my drop safety on my XD so I had been using a pistol without a drop safety for who knows how long. On top of that my gunsmith told me the cut was crooked AND because they made the cut without leaving slide material to support the rear of my optic, so it was at risk for shearing the screws and flying off. Absolutely criminally negligent and on top of that they treat their customers like trash unless you sing their praises. Edit: To answer the comment below 1. My gunsmith has a complete understanding of this and showed me how milling into the drop safety can and will cause it to malfunction. 2. I actually never requested my front sight to be recut I'm not sure what he's referring to? Also my gun isn't in multicam so I think he has the wrong order. 3. I left it at the front door at 1035am july 17th according to my call logs when they were open. It's irrelevant though since they confirmed they received it? 4. Of course it has an optic on there, you installed it yourself in 2022.

stopped by yesterday.. Pedro and staff are the best around Socal at what they do. Everyone's FDE coloring is not really FDE except DWS, this is exactly what I picture when I think FDE not the light beige or burnt bronze everyone does. The machining work is extremely high quality same with the service = extremely high quality. Very happy and will be back with more stuff very soon. read more

They came highly recommended to start with...Made an appointment over the phone so when I came in I could drop it off and go...They milled the slide out for a new optic and did a great job not ruining the custom coating that was already on it...They installed the optic, the new night sights and set it all up for me before I left...Also got a new recoil spring and fresh lube before they handed it back to me...Going back to get more slides done.. read more

Was too trigger happy on the purchase and am paying the price. Though I can't comment on the quality of their work, I would advise anyone to think it through before doing business with them. To recap my recent experience, I was wanting to get an optic cut for my firearm though upon reconsideration, felt I best wait to see if I'd instead prefer to get a separate upper instead. Unfortunately, I'd purchased the service already which I attempted to cancel the same day. For full disclosure, one of their service representatives, Brian, did reach out to me the next workday and even offered store credit though upon hearing that I was dead set on canceling the order noted another person would reach out to me regarding the refund. This was after he'd alluded to all sales being final and me interjecting by asking how a business would prefer to go this route as opposed to doing what's right by the customer. However, after three unanswered calls on his end throughout the subsequent days, I was finally able to get a hold of someone from DWS who again informed me that all sales are final. I would advise anyone to stay away from them as I've purchased items through Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist from business and individuals with more integrity as it appears DWS has; especially if they would prefer to keep your money as opposed to making sure they make their money the right way. -To respond to the message below: thought that was strange as well as the person I spoke with said their name was Brian when the caller ID said Gonzalez, Pedro. They also hesitated to provide their name for a second or two when I asked for it at the end of our conversation which I remember thinking was odd. Maybe you were feeling a little sassy that day and were wanting to identify as a Brian just to see how the name fit, Pedro? This could be my very first yelp review as I normally wouldn't spend the time to write this. I'm sharing my DWS ordering experience. I'm on week 15 since I ordered a precut slide and I'm still getting the run-around. -I ordered a precut (no slide to send in, cut from a blank) on November 30th, 2020. The website says 6-8 weeks lead time (it still says this). -Week 10: Two weeks after I should have gotten the slide. I sent them an email as there was zero follow up on my order. They said "will be in touch shortly with an update". -Week 11: I asked for an update as I was expecting one "shortly". They responded with "Its processing and should be out asap." -Week 12: I asked if there was any updates as we're almost to week 12. They responded "Its processing and should be out asap." -Week 13: Getting frustrated at this point. I said that tomorrow is March, asked for a date on shipping. Similar response with "I'll get you updated. It will take 24 to 48 hours." -Week 14: They blame lack of updates on 'my junk folder'. Although I'm receiving every single one of their promo emails. This shows deflection to the customer (not good Week 15: Literally responded with "she's shipped sir". Zero tracking information. The order doesn't show any sort of tracking online, etc. While I'm sure they're going to say it was the market conditions, they couldn't get blanks in fast enough, etc... It's a complete lie. If you look at reviews they have, this was happening in 2019, 2020, and now 2021. Loads of people having to get their credit card companies involved. BBB complaints galore. Reply to Pedro: Not one word on your site says preorder. My order confirmation shows nothing with preorder either. I guess we'll see if you shipped it when you said you did. These shippers track everything down to the second. Update: was told last night that he'd send tracking info "I'll add it to my calendar for the morning, I get it at 9am PST." It's nearly 11am and it's crickets from DWS. Another over-promise and under-deliver. read more

I'll start off by stating that this review is from early 2020... I tried to take advantage of their same day cut and cerakote like any gun owner. Since I was pretty local I figured I would drop off in person and get a feel for the shop. The shop was very clean and organized, they even had a nice display of the products they offered. Dropped off the slide and I was told I would get a call back. I completely forgot about it and went about my business, no call no messages nothing from DWS. Decided to call them and they told me over the phone that my slide was done to come on by and pick it up. I arrived and to my surprise my slide wasn't done, they were scrambling to figure out where it was and 20 mins later it finally appeared. I inquired as so why it wasn't cut and cerakoted and I was given your typical politician answer that they were busy blah blah blah. At this point I'm expecting some kind of compensation for my trouble or at least an apology... no, nothing. I was given a blank stare by the guy up front who acted like I was wasting his time. So naturally I am irritated and ask for my slide and a full refund since I was tired of waiting and it was clear they were not interested in my business. The gentleman said he needed my receipt, and of course I don't have it because I expected my property to be complete and worked on. I scramble home and find it, call them and request a full refund. Fast forward a month and still no refund, so I had to get my bank involved since clearly they had no interest in refunding my for their incomplete work. About two weeks later I receive my charge back and decide to do some research. Just about every social media platform has bad reviews of this place. From Reddit, YouTube and even a couple on BBB. I'm all about supporting small business especially in times like these but clearly they have no interest in supporting us. I should have done my search and looked a little deeper before wasting my time. I should have trusted my gut and walked away when I went into the shop and heard no machinery working to cut slides, saw no painting going on... all there was in the back was a camera set up where it assuming they take pictures of "their work". Don't believe me? Check out their social media and you will NOT see one video or image of them specifically cutting or Cerakoting anything. Overall I cannot recommend this business, I would much rather send my slides to some other company where i know I will be taken care of. read more

Shitty job sent my sig p365 in for barrel coloring they sent it back wrong with the wrong cuts on it that I specified I didn't want and that was oct 2021 still haven't gotten nothing they claim it's now ready going into 2023 but still can't get any responses since they want to use instagram DM as their way to communicate with their customers LOL fucking joke still waiting for them to respond on insta to see when they can send my stuff OCT 20 2021 I sent my barrel in and I'm writing this review on December 27 2022 still without it, talk about customer service lol what a joke just for a barrel Response to owner I sent you several messages within the same and next day on dm and as well as email so don't try to cover up for yelp lol still got the receipts read more

I used Dynamic Weapon Solutions for my g17 slide. I needed an Rmr cutout. I ended up getting an rmr cutout, cerekote, and a slide serrations pack. The final product is better than I imagined. Awesome craftsmanship and detail. Awesome customer service! They kept me updated with every step of the way and emailing me when they received the slide, every step it went through, and when it shipped/ delivered. Was Quoted 6-8 Weeks Minimum to Get My Slide Cut for their Mark 3 Reaper Cut... was kinda bummed out .... But I have been seeing their custom slides all over Youtube and fell in love with their work To get stippling done by a dope artist is about the same turnover if not longer.... So I figured why not wait to get a dope slide cut by them....long story short...... My slide was completed before the expected delivery time and I'm supper happy about how it came out... please be aware i repeat please be aware do not give them your slide or barrel for any type of work i am going on week 42 and these motherfookers just love ignoring me when i am calling for a update or texting for a update i was told 8-10 weeks and of course they sent that email that everyone gets that says update 10-12 weeks!!!!!please read the comments!!! just take ykur business elsewhere or if you dont believe me go ask other people and they will say the exact same thing !!!!!! they do not value there customers they are asking dor more p226 & more p229 work and they still havnt finished my slide and they cerkoated 2 of my friends glock slide the wrong damm color like how does that even happen!!! I sent my two slides at the end of February 2024 to add reddot ( & paid in full) , Pedro promised 4-5 weeks. I received one of my slides after 2 month after many phone calls, I should say quality of the work was really good, but I am trying to get my second slide back and it seems I am not getting anywhere. countless hours waiting on Chat line, multiple emails , many phone calls to the DWS update line did not go anywhere. I hope Pedro realizes the true fact about his great business that It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five bad reviews to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently. I totally understand all obstacles that you have in doing the job, but Do not loose your customers with giving them empty promises. I really need my slide back read more

I've been working on my G17 for some time and I have been following Dynamic Weapon Solutions for some time as well. I was pleased to find them at the OC Gun Show. Thay had a plethora of aftermarket slides to choose from. Pedro was vary informed and educated me and pointed me in a direction that would be best for me. At the time Pedro gave me a gun show deal that was too good to pass. I had nothing but the best customer service dealing with is establishment. read more

Rifle gear recommended DWS to help get my Glock's slide milled to fit my red dot sight. They were super accommodating and affordable. Sonia was very nice and helped me get the correct iron sights that would complement the RDS. She also helped me with some instructions on how to find my zero and she even knew where I could pick up some in stock 9mm ammo!! There was another guy who was kind enough to lube my slide before I left. Overall great experience!! Thanks a lot. read more

These guys are the truth! Sent them my old S&W M&P 9c 1.0 for an optic cut, cerakote and suppressor sights and they brought this firearm back to life. I've had this weapon for years and it's been collecting dust in a safe for some time since it is the only firearm I own without an optic. Came across DWS on IG and reached out to them asking if they could work on it for me. They were very responsive from the first message and throughout the process, answering any questions I had, even invited me to their shop when I was in town! Received my slide within their lead time, even as they are moving locations, and it is beautiful. Definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for an upgrade to their slide! First of all, thank you DWS for everything! From the moment I walked into the business, I was greeted by Sonia with unimaginable hospitality that made the whole process smooth. I handed over 2 of my Glock slides for an Optic Cut and they came out beautiful! The coating is even all throughout the slide, the cuts made fit my optics perfectly, and the functionality of the slide remains the same. Many people downplay this business with bad reviews because of the long wait times, but that shouldn't be the determining factor nor discredit them for their amazing work. I know that I am not a patient person so I decided to pay a little extra for Same Day Optic Cut and all I can say is this was worth EVERY penny. I dropped off my slides on a Wednesday at 11AM and they were ready on Thursday at 1PM. The biggest thing I appreciate was that the staff kept me updated on every step. I recommend DWS 100% and will continue to do business with them for future builds or purchases. Once again, thank you for the craftsmanship and dedication you put towards your customers. read more

Update 2- I have still not received my precut slide that I ordered in April of 2022. It has been approximately 21 weeks or more than 3 times the approximate lead time for my product to be sent. I have been advised by DWS on multiple occasions that my product was in stock/ready but have never received anything. So please don't think this is a supply or out of stock issue. This business is a fraud and manipulates their on line reviews. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding this business and their practices. The fraud/ scam that they commit is that for online orders, they have a "minimum" lead time of 6-8 weeks. The reason they have that is most credit cards have a 60 day dispute period where you can get your money back. After this you are "stuck" because DWS conveniently has a no refund policy, only store credit. So now the customer is stuck not receiving a product and the only thing of "value" that you can receive is store credit for something else you won't receive. This no refund policy is in direct violation of the FTC rules. If you have experienced a similar situation (I know many have based on reviews) please follow up with the FTC via a complaint. Please see the FTC rules below. -If there's a delay shipping your order, the seller has to tell you and give you the choice of either agreeing to the delay or canceling your order for a full refund. -If the seller doesn't ship your order, it has to give you a full refund -- not just a gift card or store credit. read more

I requested a quote through Yelp to have new sights installed on my Glock. Since it was the day after Thanksgiving and late in the afternoon, I didn't expect a response till maybe Saturday or Monday. I was pleasantly surprised with a response that evening, he gave me pricing and confirmed he had them in stock. The next day, i traveled up their shop in Huntington Beach. I writing this review with my experience throughout September/October of 2020, and it irritates me that I even have to do this. However, for the sake of others I feel it is necessary to share my experience. Order details: slide cerakote, optic cut, Holosun 507c, suppressor sights (suppressor sights and optic install included), and a DWS patch Order arrived at DWS: 9/11/20 I will start by saying that whoever runs the Instagram account, usually responds immediately and has been a breeze to communicate with. So that is a plus. Having said that, I did provide feedback via Instagram on 10/23 on my experience and have not received any response. When I spoke with the lady on the phone after 6 weeks of the slide being at the shop, I was told "Yes your slide is right here ready to ship. We have the sights and optic installed for you." My follow up question was; "Great...when is it going to ship?" To which I was then told; "We don't have any channel liners and haven't had them since March. Do you want to order some to the shop, ship the slide back without them (which you can't assemble), or wait until we get them in stock?" My thoughts; you have not had channel liners in stock for 7 months, you do not know when they are coming back in stock, and you think keeping the slide there waiting is a good idea? Negative. I opted to have the slide sent back to me and I will handle the channel liner ordering and install. Not having channel liners in stock should be noted when placing an order on the website. I received what I thought was my order on 10/19. Upon opening the package, I found only my cerakoted slide with an optic cut, and all my internals. That is it. No optic. No suppressor sights. So naturally, I reached out by calling the shop phone and was not able to reach anyone. I then DM'ed DWS on Instagram, and someone called within 10 minutes and explained that the optic and sights were "..left on the bench and forgot to include them. We are humans, we make mistakes." Roger that. DWS shipped my optic and suppressor sights the next day, which was delivered on 10/23. Finally, all parts arrived and nothing installed. The install portion really is not the end of the world, but it is important to note that it was offered and stated install would be included by DWS with the order. So once I finally received all my parts and pieces across two separate orders, I then had to order a channel liner, a channel liner tool, and sight punches since I did not have any of these (further pushing back my Glock from being assembled). This just added to the frustration/annoyance factor and made the experience worse. Mistakes are made, I get it. What really gets under my skin, is that the whole process was handled poorly and makes me question the efficiency of the operation. I appreciate the immediate replies via Instagram DMs, but I do not appreciate going around the ringer trying to get a status update, to then have my entire order sent incomplete and no sort of discount, no offer to make my experience better, nothing. Why tell someone their order is complete and ready to ship, when it is not? I do not understand. Lastly, the patches are also on backorder and I never received the one I paid for. All good though, keep the patch. I do not feel morally right supporting a company that handles mistakes to this extreme in such a manner. read more

A friend of mine recommended DWS for optics and gun works. The owner and staff there are nice and friendly. I ended up buying an RMR from them. The owner even helped adjusting my suppressor sights and installing the RMR on my Glock for free. Highly recommend DWS if you need custom works on your guns. Absolutely can NOT recommend this company, they should rename themselves to Dynamic SCAMMING Solutions. Wish I had done my research before I purchased a slide from them, which I still have not received after 3 months, going on 4 months of waiting. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks for a P320 slide, cerakote and sight install. So I placed my order on August 31st. Messaged them after about 8 weeks on October 26th and they tell me they FORGOT about my order and they would expedite it. So I waited another 3 weeks to contact them and they said it would ship before black Friday. It did not ship before black Friday because they claimed they were still waiting on sights to come in. I asked for a refund and they said the only thing they can do is store credit. I told them ok if you are truly waiting on sights go ahead and send me my slide without the sights and refund me for just the sights. I was told by one of the employees through Instagram on Wednesday November 23rd that they were able to find some sights through a local dealer and they would ship everything out that Friday. Friday comes and they still have not shipped my slide out and they just ignore my messages. I have called several times and no one has EVER answered the phone. I have emailed and no one has EVER emailed me back. After posting this review they immediately messaged me telling me they were shipping it out the next day(Saturday) via USPS. I receive an email with a tracking number. A week goes by and the tracking has not updated. It says USPS was electronically notified by sender to expect a package from them. It has said this for a week now. At this point it seems I'm just getting the run around. My guess is they created a label just to make it seem like it was shipped out but at this point who even knows. I have told them I will be disputing the transaction with my bank if something isn't done asap. They tell me a slide was started incase the one they claim to have sent me was lost in the mail. I was told it should ship out this Thursday/Friday 12/08/2022. So as of right now it seems the slide they sent me has been conveniently lost and they are working on sending me a new one. What a nightmare this whole experience has been. I'm currently out $620 from this scam of a company. Monday 12/12 another slide was supposedly shipped out last Thursday/Friday. Received the tracking on 12/8 and again the tracking says USPS was electronically notified by sender to expect a package. Seems like we are doing this all over again. I went ahead and even checked the tracking number on the first slide they supposedly shipped out and got "lost" by USPS, and now the tracking is saying it's not a trackable number, yep extremely sketchy I'd say. They even admitted that USPS is not a good shipping company and yet what do they do they ship with USPS again. So now we are on to our 3rd slide. I tell them that it is obvious they can't produce a P320 slide so I wanted to know what their in stock options were for a Glock 19x. They give me 3 options and I decide on a cerakote and sight install option. I ask him if it will ship before the end of the week and he says "Definitely I'm aiming for sooner". So I message him on Thursday 12/15 asking how the slide was coming along, he responds "Good". I ask him if he has any idea when my slide is gonna ship out. He reads my message and I get no response. I'm just being ignored at this point. So I'm done with these games, it's been almost 4 months and this company has provided nothing for me. I have disputed the transaction with my bank. Also I'm not the only one that has had issues with this company. Just search through the other low star yelp reviews and search for their BBB complaints and low star Google reviews online and you will see. Also read the owners responses to these negative reviews. He never takes responsibility for anything and always tries to make it seem like it's the customers fault. Maybe he needs to spend a little less time playing with his truck and a little more time working on his customer service skills and getting customers orders out the door within the quoted time. If you want a slide or any sort of slide work done look elsewhere because this company is NOT the solution. read more

EDIT: spoke w/ Pedro and issue was rectified and the slide arrived and the work is fantastic. I think once they get more employees and can focus on CS and the work it'll be a 5 star experience. Will gladly change/update once rectified. Timeline: 9/7: quoted on IG 1-4 week lead for just cerakote. 9/10: slide arrived at their shop 9/19: took 9 days to find/process slide. 9/19: added magwell cerakote work once they found the package - wasn't option to add on site so did via email. 10/13: told slide/magwell is in assembly & cerakoted 10/21: told via site chat still in assembly 10/24: told by CEO its shipping this week only after having another IG user with much larger account reach out on my behalf. 10/28: end of the week and no shipping info. Now at end of week 7; beginning week 8 since the slide arrived and double the advertised lead. Review: Really hate doing this bc when I get firearm work/gunsmith stuff done I always go with small businesses but their false lead times and lack of honest communication is disappointing...I said honest bc they do reply but it's not accurate. More of just telling you what you'd like to hear. I reached out on IG asking for a lead time quote for cerakote only work on a slide I provide (9/7/22). Was told 1-4 weeks. Took over a week for them just to confirm it arrived (arrival 9/10/22). Took until 9/19/22 to confirm arrival of the slide. 10/13 all I can get is "slide is in assembly"; it's been in this stage for over 2 weeks. It's a Shadow Systems slide. Basically a Glock. I was finally emailed by the CEO (10/24) only after having a larger IG account reach out on my behalf. CEO said on the 24th it would "ship this week". Well that didn't happen like others have said. During this time I was able to: order a trigger from Atlas; ship said trigger to Vytal Mfg for anodizing; they completed the work & shipped back to me; I then shipped my frame to DSC Gunworks who installed the trigger and returned shipped in literally under 24hrs; and that arrived Tuesday (10/25). This is 3 separate companies completing work. I'll be reaching out to the BBB and possibly my bank. I'm pretty much screwed at this point because I can't just buy a replacement slide from the manufacturer so I'll have to build out another complete upper or wait until they decide to send mine back. I explained I'm active duty and leaving the country sooner than expected on a ship so I'd appreciate the slide being sent back before then. read more

Made an order on 11/25/21 the lead time at the time was 6-8 weeks. I didn't mind it being a little bit longer as I was moving. So, I'd be okay with an extra month or 2, honestly. But, they didn't provide any updates and it ended up taking 6 MONTHS. It seems they only care once you hit their reputation and only serve instagram influencers well. Check images on page 6 and 9 (Pictures keep moving after they uploaded duplicate photos, you can check the date from when I posted and when "new" photos were posted) for what I received and how they're "available 24/7", YOU DON'T NEED TO BE AVAILABLE 24/7 IF YOU UPDATE PEOPLE OR SEND OUT A GOOD PRODUCT FAST. I had to hound them to get updates for anything and only got semi-coherent responses through instagram since I had to e-mail them 3+ times just to get them to update the shipping address. EVEN IF YOU MAKE A PURCHASE AND HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT THEY WONT GIVE YOU A REFUND. They will constantly promote what they don't have. You'll find more reviews on Reddit saying the same. EDIT: Pedro called and claims the internals being exposed is common but, I don't see any photos of such on any of their images. Yet, when you go to jagerwerks (https://jagerwerks.com/leupold-deltapoint-pro-for-glock/) there are no exposed internals shown. They are not saying "this is what you might receive." I called it a blem but, they don't see it as such. Also, I received a pre-cut from Archon firearms ordered through tamfamgram on new years and received it within 2 months since, Pedro was saying they're fast at pre-cuts. THAT WAS CALLED A PRE-ORDER. I would not recommend Dynamic Industries. 0 stars if I could 1 star (mandatory) is being generous. My order took nearly a year to complete, and throughout the process I constantly had to chase updates. Communication was extremely poor, with long periods where messages went unanswered and shipping dates repeatedly changing. I paid for multiple parts, including three sights and a barrel. In the end, I did not receive all of the parts I ordered, which was incredibly frustrating after waiting so long. The pickup and shipping process was also a mess. I was given conflicting information about when my order would be ready, and after driving over an hour to the shop based on our conversations, I arrived to find the shop closed. Later I was told there had never been a finalized appointment despite messages indicating otherwise. To make matters worse, the Cerakote work did not hold up. The coating on one of my three slides completely failed, and the other two slides have experienced partial Cerakote wear and peeling. After the amount of time and money invested in this project, I expected much better quality and durability. The entire experience was frustrating, stressful, and far longer than it should have been. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. From my 3 slides I'm out almost $1,000. Don't trust their service all he does is lie and give excuses. read more

I recently purchased two slides from this shop and was thoroughly impressed by both the product quality and the exceptional customer service. The first slide I bought was readily available in-store, and I was able to pick it up immediately. Unfortunately, I over-torqued a screw during installation, causing damage. When I returned the next day, the staff didn't hesitate to help. They took the slide back, spent a week repairing what could have been a costly mistake, and returned it to me in brand-new condition. For my second purchase on 8/7/24, the experience was just as seamless. I ordered online and picked it up the following day. I encountered a minor issue with my sight, but when I brought it back to the shop, they resolved it within minutes. Pedro and Philip were incredibly helpful, patiently answering all my questions about my purchase and other firearms I inquired about. Their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire experience outstanding. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the market for a slide or any other firearm-related products. You won't find better quality or service anywhere else. read more

Over two years has passed and I still don't have my orders. For those who got ripped off from Pedro and was lied to, you need to do the following: - File a report with the Huntington Beach Police Department. Call the HB PD at their non emergency number and ask for Officer Christy......he is currently the officer assigned and handling this case with Dynamic Weapon Solutions. This needs to be on record so please contact Officer Christi. - Report Dynamic Weapon Solutions to the Better Business Bureau at http://www.bbb.org - Take Pedro to Small Claims Court. You can download the Small Claims Court form at: https://courts.ca.gov/sites/default/files/courts/default/2024-11/sc100.pdf The PDF is like 6 pages but you only have to fill out like 2 pages but not that much. My order (#12736) for a precut responder slide with an RMR optic cut was placed January 26th 2024. It is now early September and I have received no updates on my order despite sending multiple email requests and a couple of phone calls that were not returned. I'm a patient guy and I waited until around June before I started asking about my order in earnest, they tell you they're "checking on it" but nothing ever changed and no update was given. In July, I asked for a return of my OEM slide and the $240 I paid but was given a short and trite reply of "Sorry not possible." These people will give you the mushroom treatment of keeping you in the dark and feeding you sh@t. It's been over 8 months and my order status has not changed; I've got nothing to show for it. The few times they've communicated with me, they've refused to give me an ETA and they act like they don't care. I've come to the conclusion that they've basically taken my slide and my money and have no intention of giving me what I paid for. Save yourself some heartache and STAY AWAY. read more

I ordered 3 CZ MRK V Elite basepad back in June of 2023 and still have not received them. I have been in there on 2 separate occasions asking when they would be ready and was told they would be ready in a couple of months once they got the metal. Recently I chatting with them online and I ask for a refund but they said that all sales were final. I would not have a problem with the fact that all sales are final if I actually got what I paid for in a timely fashion. It has now been over 7 months with no product and a refusal for the refund. No communication on when they will be done. I personal will never use their services again. I also purchased an optic from them and got that installed and recolored my slide. They got that done in a timely manner but I had to go back several time due to the optic fall off. Overall my experience with DWS has been poor to say the least. Pedro does not listen to a word you write. He just back pedals and makes excuses. If you write a negative review expect him respond not professionally. read more

I never leave reviews but this has me upset... Ordered a slidecut and cerakote job was quoted 6-8 weeks... They received everything on 3/28/2022... The last auto update I received was on 5/17/2022 saying sandblasting had been completed Here we are on 10/17/2022... still no slide I've reached out several times via email, instagram, online chat and also by phone... was told it ships next week twice by DWS... still no slide *** UPDATE 10/17/2022 The owner PEDRO has reached out and apologized for the process and guaranteed me man to man he would get it shipped out that day. *** UPDATE 10/24/2022 So the slide finally shipped on Friday the 21st and I received it today on 10/24/2022 They sent it back without my Trijicon SRO, Night sights or internals! DWS has great social media presence but they seem to be missing the customer service aspect of running a business. Ultimately poor customer service will effect their business. Great looking products, underestimated lead times, piss poor customer service. They bite off more than they can chew. If you cannot efficiently get the slides out within your estimated window maybe you should stop running sales. If you are doing so much business - why don't you hire a few secretaries at $15/hour to keep track of everything? Also, I believe they get Glock brand slides in from customers and then return them milled non-Glock branded slides. Avoid at all costs. 1 Star just because Yelp forces me to choose. Wish I could put zero stars. Use JagerWerks instead. Use your dremel instead. Looks like Yelp decided to flag this as a fake review yet kept all the positive ones. read more

In March, during the covid madness I brought my Glock 34 slide in to be cut for optics and to get a cerakote. While talking to Pedro, I looked at some of the work that they do with slide cuts and decided I would get that done as well. So I left my slide with Dynamic Weapons Solutions to get the work done on my slide. When it was finished Pedro called me and told me to come down to pick it up. I think I snuck over while on the clock lol. When I got there I was extremely happy with the work they did on it. I told Pedro I was interested in getting the Holosun 508T and he said he could order it for me so I did. I also got DWS suppressor sights also. When my optic came in they called me and I ran over immediately to have them put the sight and optic. I am very happy with the results so far and look forward to getting more work done with them in the future. read more

Amazing work and great customer service! I sent my slide in to have their reaper cut and asked if they would install some sights I had gotten. I knew they had high volumes of business and that it would take some time so I waited patiently. After some time I decided I would contact them on Instagram in which I immediately got a response to whom I could email to receive updates on my slide. I did so and got a quick response. Upon installation, my sights broke, which I knew was highly likely. I was prepared to buy a set of their suppressor height sights but I didn't have to because they went ahead and replaced them for free without question. That to me is a huge deal. These guys are amazing at what they do and do their upmost best to make their customers happy. I will be using them for future gun builds without a single doubt! read more

Let's start by saying that the customer service is Amazing! I initially paid for an RDS to be mounted, and I changed my order to get the MRK III REAPER package and it was definitely worth the wait. They managed to facilitate my request and promptly provided advice on the overall aesthetics of the look I was going for. They informed me of the increased lead time. The only issue I had was a mix up of my order because I technically paid for two services at two different times on the same slide, and I didn't receive was shipping confirmation for the return of my slide which was not a problem because I knew they were working and cranking out orders all while they were prepping and moving to a new facility. Overall a great experience and outstanding craftsmanship, and I'll definitely send my next slide to them. read more

I paid for optic cuts on March 4, 2025 with the promise that the work would be completed no later than 4 weeks (which was two weeks longer than advertised on the website.) As of today it has been 16 weeks. I have repeatedly contacted DWS through phone calls and emails, at first they were partially responsive but only kicking the can down the road, promising "next week" for three weeks. At this point they have completely ceased all communications with me, ignoring both my calls and emails to them. Don't make the same mistake I did, do not send your slides to this business unless you don't need them back. If it is too late for you, and you are in the same boat as me, please contact me and we can pursue legal action together against this business to retrieve our property. read more

I placed an order with Dynamic Weapon Solutions on March 24 to have my slide cut and optics installed. After waiting until July for any kind of status update, I spent another month and a half emailing with little response. On August 15, I finally heard back and was told my order was "in shipping." That was nearly 5 months after my original order date. Since then, I've asked for updates weekly, but there has been nothing but radio silence. I run a small online business myself and fully understand how busy things can get, but this level of poor customer service is unacceptable. If you're considering having work done here, I strongly suggest looking at other shops that respect their customers' time and investment. read more

Customer Service is the worst I've ever received. Sent an acro slide in for warranty in January, was told 1-2 weeks turn around, due to them having to recut the slide since they fucked up the first time. Sent in an Acro P1, Night Sights, and a complete slide, and they have had it since January. Keep making promises that they don't keep, when I call, they throw me on hold for 5-10 minutes everytime, I don't have that long to wait to be spoken to. They never keep their word, terrible company, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY. Need to stop focusing on social media, and pay more attention to their QC, and Customer Service. I just picked up my slide which I had DWS perform an optic cut. the quality of the work was exceptional! Sonja had called me the day before and arranged an appointment for today. She asked me to bring the rest of my pistol and they would lube and install the new optics for me. I was not expecting that type of service. i asked her how long all of this would take and she said she would have me in and out in 15 minutes. They did everything I requested and then some!
