I first discovered Dynamic Weapons Solutions (D.W.S.) roughly a year ago by random on IG. I follow dozens of firearms companies that customize weapons and immediately gravitated towards DWS for obvious reasons. The company showcases excellent work so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to send my Glock in and have some slide work done. I caught a sweet sale on the Reaper MK III with optic cut and mailed my slide away to California for a transformation. Admittedly, I was pretty eager to get it back. I always chimed in on the AMA's hosted on IG story and sent a few DMs asking about status updates. Traditionally, I got a fast reply with great attitude and transparency so it made the wait more barrable. Once I finally got my slide back from DWS I naturally gawked at the workmanship and utter detail in the Black Multicam cerakote. Gotta say, I have never received so many compliments and inquiries on who did the work. I was very excited about ordering an extended base pad for g17 mag. I paid for and submitted my order on Dec 6. The sent a confirmation email the same day telling me that I would get another email when it shipped. I understand lead times can be kind of long in the current supply chain but I figured I would have at least heard something from them by now (Jan 3rd). I have tried responding to their original email and I have tried emailing their "order update" email address. No response. I have even tried calling them directly but I just got some automated message saying there is no one available at this time. I am definitely feeling a little pessimistic now and until something else happens I DO NOT recommend them. read more

Dws kept my smith shield for over 3 months. Finally got it back in pieces because they still weren't done with it and I needed it to receive my ccw. Wouldn't refund my stipple payment that they didn't complete, would only issue credit. To top it off it was missing a piece in the slide. I finally figured out today that's why it would only fire about 5 of the 8 in the magazine. It took me sending it to another gun smith that said whoever did the cerakote forgot it install striker spring guide. Customer service sucks and I felt like I was bothering for updates.Don't send anything here. It took me almost having to report the firearm missing to finally get it back. When I drove 2 hours to pick it up, I guess it was sent to an outside vendor "some guy that lives 10 min away" so I had no idea where my gun was. Pedro did deliver the gun to me as he was driving past my house on vacation which was cool. He handed me the gun with a bag full of parts and told me how to put it together. I paid for red apex trigger(wasn't there). Had to drive down the next day to pick up the rest of the parts then install myself. Paid for stipple work. Never happened after over 3 months. Enjoy my free money cause I wouldn't use all the credit in the world with this company. read more

I brought in a Glock slide for a basic optic cut for a Trijicon RMR and Sonya was a delight. She was patient and helpful. When I had a question about how the cuts would be made one of the machinists, Blake, came out and explained where the cuts would be made and how the posts/studs for the RMR would be. The posts/studs are essential for easy reinstalling without rezeroing if you have an older RMR with the battery under the optic. The slide was done early and when I picked it up I was very impressed by the fit and finish. The ceracoating was even and well done. Sonya had told me I could bring in the RMR to be installed and Blake was able to install it as I waited. Since I was already having the optic installed, I purchased the DWS suppressor height sights and also had them installed. The DWS rear sight is very sleek and shouldn't be a snag concern. The front sight of course is tall by nature but has a nice slightly rounded front bevel instead of a sharp edge. I was so impressed with their work on my carry gun that I decided to bring in my long slide Glock to get the full works done to it. I returned and Pedro helped me out. He was very knowledgeable and I decided to go with the optic cut and Reaper serrations/stippling on the slide. I would not hesitate to entrust my slide work to DWS. If you're local their shop has a wall full of their incredible workmanship on display and much like a kid in a candy store I had a hard time choosing. Pedro and Sonya were very helpful in helping me choose and their display model of the Holosun optic really impressed me enough that I may buy one for my fun gun long slide. read more

Well, I thought this started out ok. I ordered a precut slide and although it took a while to receive it, that was to be expected. I put the slide together and some of the fitment wasn't great, but again I expected that as it's quite common with cerekoted parts. Once I got everything together, that is when the problems started. For the record, I have built many Glocks, so I have a lot of experience with this. I immediately noticed the trigger was now difficult to press. Occasionally, I would pull the trigger and nothing would happen. The firing pin would not go off. If I kept the trigger pinned and shook the gun, then it would drop the firing pin. After further inspection, I discovered that the channel in which the firing pin safety is meant to drop into, was likely milled to deep. Because of this, when my optic was mounted to the milled out spot, part of it was protrudin through into that channel and blocking the plunger from being able to compress all the way and release the firing pin. I reached out to DWS support and they were responsive at first. I provided them with many detailed pictures and videos showing the problem. I described in great detail the issue and how to recreate this. They requested I send the slide back in to them to investigate. After a bit of back and forth, they suddenly stopped responding to me. It has been months and I have not been able to get an update or response from anyone. So now I am out the slide I purchase and the money spend to purchase it. I can't believe a company could send out a faulty product, request it sent back for repair, then just ghost the customer and keep the money and the slide. Incredibly disappointed and I would definitely not recommend them to anyone else out there. read more

Awful company. Sent my glock slide to them months ago for an optic cut, they performed poor work where the holes were not properly tapped and after the first shot my optic came flying off. Took pictures and sent a dozen emails then finally heard back from someone and got a RMA. I returned it with my optic in the package; however, they stated they never received the optic and sent my slide back alone. Then they refused to refund me my money for losing my optic, luckily my bank cancelled the charge when i disputed it. Awful company, awful customer service. After speaking to multiple individuals it seems this is a common theme with this company. You'd be wise to not use them and bring your business elsewhere to someone else more competent. I don't know where to start. Dropped off a slide in store for an optic cut, raised suppressor sights and cerakote. Was quoted 1-4 weeks for completion. 4 weeks go by and I received no update emails. I decided to contact them via phone ( good luck on that) to see the status on my slide and Sonia put me on hold to go look for my order and never came back to the phone. Call again the next day, and spoke to another employee from DWS and he put me on hold, and I patiently waited for 45 minutes.. Didn't come back to the phone either. I called again the next day multiple times and no one answers the phone. So I then decided to DM them on instagram and what a loophole i was put through there.. I gave name, order number and item being worked on and my question and the first response i get back is asking for my order number which i stated above. Can you not read?? After hearing about 4 different stories on the stage my slide was in, I was ready to ask for it back in the current condition it was in. We are at 6 weeks now and after DMing DWS and hearing yet another story, I was over it. They must have lost my slide because I was told it would be ready tomorrow, then the next day, then it was in cerakote about 3 times and it was a cycle. NO HONESTY WITH THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER. Finally at week 8, I called again and DWS said my slide was complete. I went in to pickup and the suppressor sights weren't put on. Sonia said I didn't need them for my slide... So why recommend them in the first place? I asked for a refund on the sights and she said they could only do store credit which is not acceptable because i will never bring a slide here again! We came to agreement on giving me a refund for the Sight back to my payment method. Then Pedro walks out and gives me a sob story on how they had to fire their cerakote guy and poor Pedro had to do cerakotes and that is why they are behind.. Lie after lie on the status of my slide I do not believe anything they have to say. DWS is a shady company and if you use them, don't expect your slide to be completed anytime soon. And be ready not to be able to contact or get ahold of anyone there. If you DM them, expect multiple stories on the status of your slide and stupidity. week 12 and I have yet to receive the refund for the sights. After reaching out they will not offer support and told me to deal with my bank because they cant help. Giving one star is more than fair they don't deserve it one bit. Got 2 slides cut for an RMR, with Cerakoting only on the cut area. Opted not to cerakote the whole slide, although I wish I did since there is slight discoloration on the rest of the slide; possibly from the heat processing? Turnaround time was same day, for both slides, due to a special they had for local drop off, so that instant gratification alone is amazing. Only gripes? -The lack of new channel liners (due to shortages), so I'd suggest buying a few to stockpile, since it's not necessarily ready to roll once you get it back. -My slides came back without the supposed to be included RMR screws; DWS has their own length RMR screws due to how deep their optic cut is. I contacted them and they mailed it out next day, so since I was local, I got it USPS 2 days later. Holosun 507C and Trijicon RMR fit perfectly! Their slide cut designs are among the cleanest in the game and pricing is VERY good. Will be going through them from another slide and barrel soon. read more

I went out of my way to support DWS seeing im from SoCal moved to Texas haha but damn, should have dobe local. The warranty? No thanks, not for another 4 5 week wait for same shitty job. Got the slide back nowhere near looking like a snake skin camo but instead a giraffe with blisters on it. Not sure how they heat treat or perform their finishes but honestly a crap rushed job. This company had truly let me down in the customer service department. I sent my slide to DWS in March for a sight cut and cerakote (routine work for this company). I received an email from them when they received it (30 March 2021) for which they quoted me 1-4 week lead time. After they moved locations I saw the lead time on their website go to 6-8 weeks for which I can understand. Heres the issue. They are supposed to send out updates as your product moves through the process. I never received any updates. I started calling around the 7 week mark. The associate I spoke to told me my slide had just left machining...7 weeks later. She told me it was headed to prep and cerakote and would be mailed out the following Tuesday. Tuesday came with no update or confirm shipping email. When I called back a male associate (Tyler) told me that the slide just came out of machining...same story again. I waited another week before calling back. I was told that my slide was heading to machining...at this point I assume no one had touched my slide at all or lost it. I contacted the owner via Instagram, which they are always active and posting deals, who told me he would look into it. He told me he would be "pulling my slide" and the... nothing he saw my Instagram message and ignored it. He continues to post on IG about deals but no one can return my emails, phone calls, or social media messages. They claim to be a veteran friendly company yet they treat the active duty customer with blatant disregard. I've missed 3 scheduled shooting courses because I was given the runaround. At this point I'm going to have to take more extreme measures to get my property back. UPDATE: Reached out as the company asked to under this review...not only did they still not have an answer about why my slide was taking so long, the guy that commented on this review lied to me again about when it would be ready. I'll be exploring legal avenues to get my money back. I highly suggest you stay away from DWS for any of your firearm needs. BTW don't bother reaching out on Instagram either, same guy gives you the run around. read more

Heres a little update on my slide order. Its now 9/3/21. its now going on 10 months!! since I placed my order with them. still never received calls or email from this company about my order. So on 7/28/21 I go back to DMing them about an update they tell me its STILL in machining. but the last update I got from them was 6/23/21 and It was still in machining at that time. so how long does their machining process take? Well I had a funny feeling about that. so about a week or so goes by and I decide to call them this time. I get through and spoke with Mike. I asked for an order update. He looks up my order. he tells me there is some kind of discrepancy with my order! OMG Really!? What now!? puts me on hold for 20mins. He comes back to tell me that when my slide was in cnc machine the technician programmed the wrong slide cut for my slide so now my slide is ruined. He apologized for the screw up and he knew I've been waiting for this slide since Nov. of 2020 but there's nothing they can do about it. He just told me I gotta wait couple more month until they can get a replacement blank slide for me.. Great job guys!! Almost a whole fucking year of waiting for my slide with no communication from this company. Fucking Trash! read more

I tried to hold off on posting a negative review, as I tend to think that people who openly complain need to suck it up. However, the delay and lack of communication has gone on way too long. I purchased my slide on 1/11/21 and have yet to receive it. I have reached out several times and have gotten little to no timeline (or told three weeks over and over again) as to when I will receive my order. When I placed this order the timeline was 4-6 weeks, and about a week after purchase it was pushed out to 6-8 weeks... We are now going beyond 12 weeks! One would think when someone spends $550 on any sort of product that business owner would have some sort of sense of urgency. It seems like Dynamic is more concerned with taking care of their social media influencers, as opposed to average joes. This entire experience has soured me to this brand and after receiving my order I will not be going through these guys again, or recommending. read more

i would never do business with this place again. on the first week of September I dropped of a Glock slide to get milled for a red dot sight and purchased a red dot sight from them. i paid in full, I was told I could not leave a deposit and pay the rest at time of pickup. i was told 4 to 6 weeks for the job to be done and I would be sent an email with a date and time to pickup. 8 weeks later since I did not hear from them I tried calling them. they never answer their phones or return any phone calls. i sent a couple of email. a return email stated the slide was done but the sight was on back order. another 2 weeks went by, again sent an email because they don't answer their phone. they responded with an email of "what don't you understand ". so I drove to the business and was told that my slide was done 2 weeks ago. I let it go to miscommunication. When they brought out a slide, which took them awhile to find, it was the wrong color and what appears to be some aftermarket slide. I asked about the red dot since it was not mounted on this slide. They responded they have my red dot there In stock. They said they would repaint it and it would be done in two days. two days later I returned after calling 3 times before driving out there, again they don't answer their phones. When I got there it was not done. They said they would call me when it was done. Two weeks went by so I drove back out there. They handed me what I believe to be an after market slide with their company markings that was milled. There was no red dot on the slide. I asked them for the red dot and they said they are out of stock. I asked what happened to the red dot they told me they had and they said they didn't have one because they are hard to get. They ask me to wait while they sent an employee out some where to go pick one up. The employee returned with a green dot which they offered instead and I refused, my eye works best with red. At this point I was done and asked for my money back on the red dot. I was told ok they would credit my credit card when their accountant comes in on Saturday. I left with the aftermarket slide. 3 weeks later sending emails and calling they finally answered the phone. The lady that answered said she would take a message. Then later that day Pedro called me and it turned into an hour phone call of him trying to get out of returni my money and making up excuses. He finally said he would credit my card since he was the owner. 2 weeks go by and still he has not returned my money. So now I am stuck with the loss of my eom Glock slide, and some aftermarket slide that I don't even know if the mill cut will fit the red dot I want to put on it and no red dot sight that I paid for. one of the times I was in the store waiting I heard two one sided phone conversations of customers that were not pleased because of not having their product yet. They were telling the party on the phone that it takes time to complete their items and they want to get it right. There was also an individual who walked in and was not happy that this item was not ready to be picked up also. He looked at me and was mad and walked out. read more
