Unmatched customer service. I'm new to owning a firearm and they've treated me like a lifelong loyal customer from the very beginning. They walked me through each step and never pressured me into any decisions, all they ever did was inform me of what I needed and what options were available for someone of my skill set. My last visit they actually had some agency arms triggers in stock (which are hard to come by) and they actually went ahead and installed them for free! For Free! Very few if any gun shops would ever install something for free! To me that shows they appreciate my business. I have two slides being cut and cerakoted currently that I can't wait to get back because I know they will be above and beyond what I was expecting. Absolutely terrible company, terrible customer service, terrible workmanship. I sent in a G45 slide to get cut for a Holosun optic. When I called them, Pedro said it would be 1-2 week back in my hands, and if I sent the optic and sights they would include mounting and a green cerakote job. I happily sent in my slide and optic on march 28th. After two weeks I called and called and called and emailed. Nothing! After three weeks I did the same, some lady picked up and said it was in milling. I stayed professional, and didn't even mention the 1-2 week part, they said it was going to be mailed the next week. Two more weeks go by, nothing. So I call and call and email. Nothing. Nobody picks up, nobody replies. Finally I get a call and some guy tells me it's going to be shipped the next week. 10 days go by and they still haven't sent it to me. I call and call and call and finally I get the lady telling me it shipped. I received the slide the next day, but no optic. I call and call and call and email. Two weeks later I finally get a call back after calling in from a different phone and pretending to be interested in being a first time customer. He tells me he's going to look for my optic. 5 days later, and a daily "any update here" message from me, he finally says he found it and sends a shipping tracking number. I've now used the g45 slide a total of 9 times at a range, and multiple hours of at home holster drills in the mirror. Everybody I show it to, to include friends that are gunsmiths, agree that they either used the cheapest cerakote or it's spray painted. The entire slide is scratched up from where the holster is rubbing. I have 6 other cerakote pistols from 4 different companies. The oldest is 5 years. I shoot 2-5 times a month with each. None show half the wear that this g45. I'm now sending it in to a different shop to get redone. The front trijicon sight that I sent was installed, but not tightened so it wiggles. Customer service sucks and they don't understand the different lengths of slides. They received my MP 2.0 4.25inch full-size slide on March 26, 2020. They shipped it May 19, 2020, back to me. It was a 4.0 inch slide for the MP compact. I returned it shortly after. They "fixed" it and on July 9, 2020 they sent me ANOTHER 4.0inch COMPACT MP SLIDE! I returned it once again. They were very apologetic. I tried calling the store and sending emails. I messaged the Instagram page on august 25th, 2020 asking for an updated. Was told they had the slide it would be milled and sent out within 2 weeks. On September 9, 2020 I called asking for an update and was told they made a mistake and they saw a 4.0 slide in the shop. I've continued to call and can never get an answer on where my slide is at. It's now September 23rd and still no response. read more

DWS is a goat rodeo. Highly dynamic due to how crappy their customer service it aka NONEXISTENT. Do NOT send your slide to them. Some combination of the following will happen: 1) Take months to be completed with no updates. 2) Cut incorrectly or wrong color. 3) They will take your Glock slide and send back an off brand slide. 4) Pedro will claim they have good customer media and to hit them up via phone, email, or social media - do not expect a response you idiots. Instead do the following: Throw your slide down a sidewalk, run over it a few times, and then put it in a blender. At least you will know where your slide is, when you will get it back, and it will most likely look better. read more

I sent in my slide for an RMR cut and cerakote, I disassembled my slide and provided my own channel liner and sent it in via UPS and it arrived from NorCal to SoCal in 2 days, they even sent me an email stating that they received my slide. Their stated lead time was 1-4 weeks, and they met it with one week to spare. I received it today and I must say the quality is A1! The cerakote looks phenomenal, I will definitely be contacting them again for future projects. read more

Went here for my first cerakote on my first glock. Turnaround time was slightly longer than expected, but they were responsive over social media and phone at every step of the way. So I dropped off my gun for their 1 day cerekote and optic cut. I received it back 2 days later. I was very excited and happy with it despite the cerekote not being the tungsten that they showed me. A couple weeks later I finally had time to shoot it only to find out it would not zero. I later found out the the cut on CZ need to be at an angle for it to zero. I thought DWS would take care of this so I went back to see if they could fix it. Pedro helped me and did not give me an ETA. I was skeptical but I thought since I'm talking to the owner, I'm sure he would want to take care of his customers. I was very very wrong. Not only was I not given an ETA I was also not given a receipt. Pedro told me to leave JUST the slide and optic and take the frame and barrel home. This was on may 31st. After not hearing back from them in 2 weeks I began to see all the bad reviews and complaints of terrible customer service from this company and specifically the owner as well, Pedro. I found another gunsmith that would be happy to fix my gun and had a 1 week turn around. I had called DWS speaking to a younger gentleman asking if I could pick up my gun. He informed me that my slide had not been touched yet and that I could pick it up. Cool. 2 days later I drive to DWS which is 30 minutes away from where I live. Sure 30 minutes isn't so bad. I again speak to Pedro asking for my gun back and he denied my request. I was shocked. So he denied giving back my property. I asked why and his response was "if we screwed it up we want to fix it. If we have to re cut it we will do it right". I explained that I did not want them to fix it and that it was my property that he is holding from me. He went to the back really quick came out and said that my slide is in pieces and was being recerekoted... so.. you recerekote my gun only to have it tested, then recut, then recerekote it again??? After 2 weeks of not being serviced and a call and answer that I could pick up my gun back THAT HAD NOT BEEN SERVICED. That does not make any sense. As far as I know you have to sand blast the cerekote before doing a cut and then it cerekote again. So why do it twice? I am continuing to request my gun back even tho it is "in pieces" at this point. I even ask if there is any payment for it that I could pay to get it back. He said there will be no payment at all. No payment so why keep holding my gun? As I explained to him that I did not want to keep coming down their he also tells me that I need to bring my frame, barrel, and guide rod... seriously. Pedro had personally asked me to JUST leave the slide and red dot. That is an hour total out of my day and gas tank. It wouldn't be that bad if I didn't have to go there 4 times and have horrible experiences every time. He goes on and tells me how he drives a diesel truck and that it's not that far of a commute for me. I'm sorry but am I the owner of the business? I am taking an hour out of my day to be lied to and disappointed and told to keep coming back. Apparently they tried to call me but I have no record what so ever. He gave me his number and I came back the next day to drop off my barrel and frame on June 13. At this point I have to contact Pedro every week for an update because I am not given one at all. All he tells me is that the gunsmith at another location is testing it and they are waiting on the results. I decide to contact the gunsmith that DWS sent my gun to be tested to see what they have to say. They informed me that they have had my gun for a while and that they need the barrel and guide rod. Didn't I just drop it off weeks ago??? I contact Pedro. He informs me that they need it. So I guess he just found out??? This is on June 25th. I told him that I had brought it and personally handed it to him. No response until July 2. Just crazy. They found the barrel and finally got it tested. Finally July 6 my gun is apparently ready to be picked up. OVER A MONTH FOR A 1 DAY OPTIC CUT DEAL. I decide to bring a witness along with me just in case. I pick up my gun excited to have it back after it had been forcefully held from me even tho I denied their service. Tbh I was just excited to have my gun back after it had been forcefully held so I didn't look at all the details. I just wanted to get out of there. When I get home a realize a few things wrong. First off I will say my experience with DWS has been nothing short of amazing. I had several changes on my order, each and every time they were very accommodating and helpful! ANYTIME I messaged them on IG I got a response within a half hour(usually minutes) from the owner Pedro. When I called in and spoke to Sonia, she was the most helpful, courteous and sweet lady. I ended up placing my order on black friday and got it about a week ago but that was not there fault. I say that to say this.. WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! I could not be any happier with how clean this thing came out and how awesome it feels to shoot. Having an optic cut and not using the MOS plate adapter is huge for me. Down to the smallest details that the website doesn't pick up in pictures, this thing is SICK! Even the cerakote is clean and perfect! Usually with a multicam patter it's hard to avoid buildup of the paint and causes issues for many rounds...not this one! Thank you to anyone involved in making this and getting it to me. Great customer service! I ordered a slide from the on Black Friday when they got absolutely swamped with purchase orders and had a lot to keep up with. Took a while to get my slide but they kept in contact with me and were transparent about everything along the way. Unfortunately when I got my slide, it wasn't exactly what I ordered, there was a mix up due to me changing my order around in the beginning, but they had me send it back and they cut, cerakoted and shipped out a new slide straight away and I got it within a week!! I couldn't be happier with this thing! Look SO CLEAN! I just purchased my Glock 17 with the stock iron sights and wanted to replace it with tritium night sights.. Its my first one so I wanted it done right. After days of searching, I was able to talk to communicate with the owner through yelp. They we're able to help me with the installation and was able to replace my plastic guide rod for a really great price! The owner and his staff is very helpful, and taught me a few things I can do with my gun. They also showed me some of their modified guns to give me an idea of some modifications Incan do with my glock. I am definitely coming back to do some modifications in my glock. read more

Born n raised in HB and now living in AZ. AZ lead times are insane for any slide work is 10-14 weeks. Spoke with Pedro through email on a few things and was pretty happy with his knowledge and info provided. Came to visit family and figured while I was here I would drop off my slide. Worse case scenario it would have to be shipped back to AZ. 2 weeks later....Not only did they deliver on time before I had to leave but Martin went above and beyond to help me out.
