I woke up in the morning facing 2 tasks. Plan a wedding for 2 New York Doctors who work in Covid hospitals and MOVE 3 Doctor roommates TODAY, 3 bedrooms, not packed. THUMBTACK app. I put in the info around 11 am after completing a few essential wedding plans. Wow, I took pictures of everything. I submitted to several highly rated movers. Within a minute Dyno Moving got back to me with a quote which was accurate and to the point. By 11:30 I got the thumbs up from 2 of the 3 roommates to move today so I said yes to the movers and I began furiously packing. AT 1:30 A HUGE TRUCK arrived with THREE of the nicest guys you'd ever want to be friends with. Igor was the team leader. He walked through everything with me first asking incredibly professional questions sizing up the move. He gave me very specific inexpensive prices for wrapping the mattresses which was mandated by the state, ok. He had boxes to sell me if I needed them so I had him bring in a bunch just in case. The move began. I have moved Many times. This was UNQUESTIONABLY the best moving experience EVER!!!!!! The 3 men were professional, kind to me and fun. They moved FAST. Igor, the team leader was so compassionate. He could see that I was working hard so he was tolerant of me when I overstuffed boxes and loaded things in garbage bags. They wrapped ALL wood furniture. When the truck was full I had to choose between a mattress and the kitchen table to be left behind. I chose the mattress. When the Doctor whose mattress it was found out she was torn between frustration with me for poor judgment and PURE DISBELIEF she would be going home today to the new house! She arrived to let the movers in and went straight to work with Igor, she was tired and need a good night sleep. NO PROBLEM, Igor said when they were done unloading they'd go back and fetch the mattress and the 3 bikes and bring them right back!! When at the new house they were so attentive and constantly asking us where would we like everything. They took down and put up shower rods. They disassembled and reassembled furniture as needed. They worked lightning fast. They were careful and did not break or damage anything. I think I should be able to sit down and manicure my nails while movers do the work. If you have more than 2 hours notice to move take your time choosing your color because your nails will look great by the time they are done!! 5 thumbs up to Igor and his team. read more

I've used this company a few times. Hell, I shouldve gotten a discount this time. I think they're great depending on the team of guys you get. I had Ivan's team who were awesome, another team of 2 who were pretty good, and then I had Olzhas' team, twice, which were ok but not great. Ok bc they did move my things and nothing was that damaged (I had a clock that cracked the last time). Not great bc a 2 hr or 2 1/2 job took more than 4 hours and my initial estimate of $400 went to $680 plus they asked to be tipped $70 each for 3 guys. Let's keep in mind that my move was 1 mile away from my old place, I had packed everything up in boxes already which they just had to carry and there were only a few furniture to bring over, not that heavy or complicated, and elevators in both buildings. When they were done, they left their masking tapes everywhere, left the wrapping on the furniture, didn't put things back where they found it, brought all my stuff in to the apt in a way that was disorganized and cluttered (there is a way to place everything in an organized way, like topping chairs and putting boxes together in one space). There's a scratch on the hardwood floor bc they dragged the furniture, not lifted it. I tipped them way too much. My advice is to watch how they work, don't tip what they ask if they did an unsatisfactory job, and if you had a good team before, request them by name! Not moving again and if I ever did, not using Dyno. read more

I can't thank Alex and his team enough for helping me with my move. I have had some downright terrible experiences with other movers in the past (breaking items, leaving before the job was finished, overcharging me and dumping my stuff on the street when I refused to pay more - I even had to call the police once!). Alex quoted me 3 guys for $75/hr + 30 mins travel time ($37.50). I paid exactly that for 3 hrs. They didn't start the rate until they moved the first item. It would have been even quicker had I been more organized. They also couldn't find parking in front of my old bldg, so they had to double park and the driver had to stay with the truck. Luckily, unloading went much faster, as all three could participate. They carefully wrapped and unwrapped my wood furniture and reinforced my boxes with more tape. They also used one of their own large boxes for my random, loose items. They paid close attention to my labels and put items in the rooms indicated. They made sure to ask me when they weren't sure of unmarked items. They even set up my bed frame and mattress, TV and dining table in my new apt! I HATE moving, but Dyno moving made it actually pleasurable. Otto, the main mover, was very funny and a really nice guy! I wish I could have afforded to tip them more. I will only use them from now on, if I need to ever move again...(hopefully not for a long time). read more

Omg! They are amazing I HIGHLY recommend. Every time I move I end up renting a U-Haul and doing it with my friends and every time I promise myself that I will never do it again. Finally this year my friend told me that she got a quote from Dyno. So I emailed them and then decided to email other companies bc it doesnt hurt to get a quote. Dyno gave me the lowest quote. They arrived at 11am and in 2.5 hours I was completely moved in! They were friendly, professional and most importantly, they listened to me. They were patient with me as I had to make decisions if I'm taking certain furniture pieces with me or not. I had Kirill, Max and Boris. I was really impressed at how well they worked together. If I told one guy something, they would communicate it to the other two and they all knew whatever it was that needed to be addressed. They wrapped all my stuff, nothing was broken! Even my mattress topper, which is like falling apart /breaking (so I actually never even TRY to move it bc I'm afraid of breaking it) arrived in its original condition. I was pretty surprised about that one. They seriously did such a good job, were so fast, so efficient, I was super surprised and I'm never moving on my own again! Like seriously, that stuff takes an entire day, and these guys did it in less than 3 hours! I'm definitely using them again next time I move! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! read more

The team of Alex, Shuxrat and Sergey helped me with the moving. At first I was a little annoyed by their request to advance the schedule because the apartment building had a designated time slot for me to move. But to my surprise, they negotiated with the staff on their own and told me they are ready to start. With the same "aggressive spirit", they move all my stuff in a blink of an eye. The job was done within the minimal working hours (2 hours). So basically I got my moving nightmare finished a few hours earlier without any headache. Although they are really fast, they did care for my stuff and furnitures. The lamp and sofa bed are well protected. As for the sofa bed, they kindly asked if I would like have the plastic wrap for it and insisted I should, and it's for free. Well... I did not even do that when I move the sofa bed to the place myself before. Here's the only suggestion for improvement: their custom service doesn't seem to be as friendly as movers. when I called them, the person sound impatient and angry, and they never responded my request to confirm the addresses. If the custom service can be nicer, the overall moving experience with Dyno Moving will be far beyond expectation. In sum, moving with Dyno moving is very economical - only if you can resist the temptation to give more tips to the super friendly and professional movers. read more

First time using a moving company, and Dyno Moving did an AWESOME!!! job. I was able to receive a quote from Alex, for several pieces of large furniture including a piano, that I needed to move. The price was great and we confirmed the day that I needed, March 5th and the time 9AM. Even though everything is done through email, Alex does respond in less than 15 minutes. Kama and his team showed up and started 10 minutes early. Kama called to let me know they were in front of the building, I met them (3) downstairs, Kama introduced himself to me and we proceeded upstairs (6fl). I showed them what needed to be moved and where they were located in the apartment. After that, they got to work with wrapping everything in moving blankets and using care while using the elevator and loading the truck. The tough part of the move was at the drop off location in Jersey, the long driveway is on a steep upward incline, so the rear of the truck couldn't clear. The guy's had to unload and bring everything from the road, up the driveway, into the house. They put everything where we wanted, unwrapped the furniture, and everything was great. Even though it was only several pieces of large furniture including a piano, the job from beginning to end, only took 4 hours, to me that's impressive. Cannot say enough good things about Dyno. I had a hiccup with my follow-through when I thought I had replied an email when the reply actually was sitting in my drafts folder and I thought everything was all set. Absolutely my fault, and when I called to confirm the day of the move and we found that nothing had been confirmed, Alex kept in contact with me and made sure we were still able to move that day, despite the extremely short notice. They made us their last move of the day and moved two bedrooms, a couch, a chaise lounge, and many boxes of books in three and half hours with three crew members from a three story walk up to a two story walk up. They were efficient, careful, and communicative, always making sure they took the right things and were putting things in the right places. It was so humid and they were hustling like true champions. My roommate and I could not be more thankful. They made everything easy and seamless. Not to mention that their pricing was the best of any quote I got and they estimated the move would take 3-4 hours which was right on the money. Highly HIGHLY recommend using these guys, they will move heaven and earth to make sure your move goes smoothly. Finding a good moving company is not an easy task while being overwhelmed with items that you need moved out of your home. This process is both physically and emotionally draining. I found some good reviews about Dyno Moving via Yelp and man oh man I am glad I found this company. I had dealt with Alex via Yelp chat to set up a timeframe for his movers to arrive. These guys did show up on time and were VERY professional. I was also impressed by how efficient these workers are. You always have to be mindful when movers take a very long time for the bill amount to increase. This was not the case with Dyno movers. All three movers were very careful to not break sensitive and valuable items. All in all..the move (items from my home to the storage facility) took less than 2 hours. I HIGHLY recommend Dyno Moving to anyone who is looking for a respectful, honest, friendly disposition, attention to detail and hard working moving company. I'll be using these guys for moving as long as I'm in New York. I did 2 hour increments with them both times they moved me. The first time they came by, I was already mostly packed except for a few heavy things I couldn't manage alone which they did in seconds. They're professionals and I forgot since I'm not accustomed to hiring movers. They did everything within the two hours (from Bedstuy to my Clinton Hill storage unit) and honestly made it the easiest part of moving. And were super nice. The second time, I made sure and asked for Alex (who is basically Drax the Destroyer from Guardians of the Galaxy.) He carried my dresser on his back and lifted my iron sewing machine table like it was nothing. He showed up with his same team (also great guys) and moved my storage things to my new apartment within an hour and fifteen minutes. Apparently it was his day off but his boss said I asked for him and came anyway. I had my things (total amount of stuff that fit into a 5x10 space with room) about 90% packed and ready to go with the exception of a few things to make it as easy as possible for everyone. But I think whether you're a horrible at packing your things or not, you'll have a similar experience. read more

Well, I read the mostly great reviews & so i called. I discussed my concerns w/ Alex because was moving my Chiropractic office so had valuable tables & machinery. Everything went perfectly. Called w/ their ETA. On time (in the middle of predicted window then right to business. They pointed out an old damaged desk & I said I knew about it. They carefully wrapped my precious equipment. They packed the truck & moved w/ a plan in mind. When unloading, they asked where everything should go. I was asked to inspect everything. It was a big move, they never lingered or complained. My precious tables were placed in every treatment room exactly where I wanted them. Done in 4 hours. No funny business. A great value for professional movers. Unpacking will be so much easier because they asked where I wanted the boxes. Some were for active use & some are for storage. There were some cabinets that were a very tight fit. The office was newly renovated & they were extremely careful not to damage floors, walls or ceilings. They did all that in 4 hours flat w/ 3 guys. I was very relieved, impressed & I was generous w/ the tip bc they deserved it. I shopped - they were a v good deal for the money. read more

We recently used Dyno for our move from apartment to home, within Brooklyn. Dyno was great to work with from the day I picked up the phone and spoke with Alex to when they brought in the final box. We arrived home after our closing and the guys were waiting for us, we had a 2 hour window of when they would show up and they showed up before that window, but were not pushy! The guys were super quick, took a 7 minute break, told us they were going to. (We didn't blame them we had a lot of heavy stuff and a 3 floor steep walk up!) They packed our fragile items very well, and carefully. Once they completed the emptying of the apartment we all separately drove to the house, I think it took them 20 minutes to unload the truck (we only had them bring the stuff in to the Living Room, and the bed upstairs so no assigned rooms). All 3 of the guys were great. Alex estimated a 5-6 hour move from start to finish given the description of stuff I gave him, the entire thing from start to finish including 30 minute travel from apartment to house took just over 3 hours. We had all boxes packed just needed the moving aspect (the get down the stairs aspect!) I would definitely use Dyno again. read more

Alex, Dastan and Eldar were fantastic. I was moving from Manhattan to the Bronx and had never used movers before so I wasn't sure what I was going to have to deal with and I was nervous. I read reviews of many other moving companies and the experiences they had with their movers but my experience with Dyno was nothing like that at all. I found Dyno because I saw a van with the name on it a block away from where I lived so I thought i should check them out. That was pure luck or a true blessing. Alex and the team showed up early and taped over the boxes I had not done a great job at taping. They moved every single thing on their own. I did not have to get involved to give my input at all because they were fast, efficient, careful and professional. I have no complaints. They were polite and since I am a bit older I'll say they seemed like 3 young men who were raised right. Alex communicated clearly and concisely with me from the first time we talked to after receiving payment and leaving my new home. They were just absolutely beyond wonderful movers. As for me, moving experience is very tough, but everyone at "Dyno Moving" made it as easy as they possibly could. I used their full service option, because I had no time to pack all my belongings prior to the move. They offered me 2 options: hourly basis move or flat rate price. I wanted to know the price upfront, so they gave me a fixed rate. Oh, and I have to add that they came for an estimate for no charge. The customer service was also pretty impressive. I called them couple of times and every time they were polite and constructive. It seemed to me that everyone at Dyno is happy to be there and ready to help you with any question that you have. My movers arrived on time, and started working immediately after they said hello. They packed and moved my 1 bedroom apartment in 5.5 hours. All my clothes got to the destination safe, all plates and glasses are alive, no scratches on furniture. They disassembled and reassembled everything like it was before. I thought that I had so much stuff that my move would take forever, but these guys actually made it pretty easy. I am extremely happy that I chose Dyno, and will deff recommend and use them in the future. read more

I had asked for quotes from a few companies and decided to go with Dyno Moving after reading their amazing reviews and getting a very, very fair and affordable quote. This company was great to work with from start to finish! Alex was super easy to reach and communicate with via email. He called to confirm the day prior to the move. On the day of the move, Igor and his team were absolutely great, efficient, and friendly! They showed up 10 minutes early. Igor and I went over paperwork, and he and his team asked me to show them everything that needed to be moved. They moved my boyfriend and I from a 3rd floor walk up to a building with a small elevator. Igor and his team were very quick but careful with all of our belongings! They wrapped up our furniture and mattress. They disassembled what they felt was necessary. The move took 2.5 hours total for a one bedroom apartment, which was way less time than we anticipated. The cost was exactly what we expected, no surprises! Tip is not included, 10 percent per mover is recommended. But, we decided to tip more because we were so pleased with the service. Can only really say great things about Dyno! Fast responses from quote, booking and to day of. Their flexibility, transparency and SPEED (!!) are greatly appreciated. These guys do not mess around. They are down to business as soon as they arrive and you can tell that they are truly professionals. They make moving boxes and furniture look like a breeze. Super attentive to requests and questions (I don't believe all the workers spoke fluent English but had no problems communicating). At the end, they asked if I'd like to check the truck to make sure they got everything which was great for my own peace of mind. Furniture was in the right place and set up correctly - going the extra mile where needed. Moving is stressful no doubt about it! And to move during the COVID-19 pandemic adds a whole different dimension. I was trying to work and pack and sell things while buying furniture online and looking for movers at the same time. So by the time moving day came, I was having heart palpitations and a very anxious tummy. I know that sounds extreme and melodramatic but that was my case. But don't worry, I lived to tell about it! ;-) Fast forward to moving day which was today and my first time using movers. From the moment Igor and his team came in with their very chill vibe and strong work ethic, my body literally calmed down. They finished up by taping up the boxes closed. I only give Dyno two stars because they did an adequate job of moving from point A to point B. However, when the job was nearing completion, the foreman, Max, showed me a different invoice from the one shown in the beginning of the move. He gave me a hard sell, suggesting that EACH guy get 15% of the total bill AND they work only for tips, which I know wasn't true. Mind you, he does this while our furniture is still on the truck, adding we were the first move of the day. I was too stunned to argue, but he agreed to a less egregious amount. When I complained to the sales manager, Alex, he said he would have to collect the excess tips from the movers. Nothing about immediately apologizing and sending me a refund. Rather, he asked if the movers could Venmo the tips back to me. What???? Not only did he not take responsibility for what happened, he likely enabled this practice to continue. If you choose to use Dyno Moving, make sure your stuff is off the truck before the hard sell begins and you overpay. read more

Just finished my first experience with Dyno today. I contacted them for a last minute move to a storage facility and couldn't be happier with the entire process. I received a quote through through Yelp from Alex in what seemed like minutes after I asked for it and he was so on top of communications with his speedy and informative replies. The day of, Ivan and his two guys gave me the headsup call, showed up on time and got started right away without hesitation. They moved a total of 54 boxes into the truck within 30 minutes- it was unbelievable. Getting to the storage facility, they were just as speedy. Throughout the experience they were quick, polite, friendly, super professional and in general just made moving such a breeze. I never for a second felt like they were taking advantage of my time or trying to prolong things like some movers might. When I was done, I almost couldn't believe I wasn't at all the frazzled mess I normally am during moving. Definitely would recommend to anyone who needs some movers! read more

Dyno did an incredible job!!! They moved my 1.5 bedroom apartment that was all packed in a storage unit to my new apartment in just under 3 hours, and that included a very trafficky 45 min drive between the unit and the apartment (I left before them in an Uber and they even beat me back) so really it was more like 2ish hours of labor for the whole job, which is amazing. They wrapped my couches nicely and were very careful with my stuff. In the apartment they were very attentive to where I wanted my stuff, not just placing it around randomly which was great. The men called me well in advance so I knew when to arrive to the storage unit, they showed up early, got right to work, and were very polite. They wore masks (mostly correctly) the whole time, which I appreciated. I had read other reviews and was prepared for how much to tip. One note is that you pay the whole bill in cash, not just the tip, and I recommend having exact change. Overall everything went extremely smoothly and I am really happy with the job! read more
