I always believed that Dyson Vacuum was a reputable company. But what I just experienced I am still having trouble understanding. I first bought a Dyson about 8 years ago. It w;s difficult at first because I couldn't push it. I called customer service and they explained how to fix it. I did what they said and it worked well. The time came for a new vacuum, of course I wanted a Dyson. In fact, I purchased the exact same model. When it arrived it had the same problem. It wouldn' budge. I looked for the gasket that I cut from the first one but there wasn't a gasket. I called customer serevice, the agent wanted to ship tha vacuum back to be modified. It was a crazy idea I thought, so I just did nothing. I called them this morning to see what I could get done. This person's name was David. I explained the issue. He was not the most empathetic man I have ever come across. I explained that I purchased the vacuum a couple of months ago and that I have not been able to properly use it. He said that it sounds like the vacuum and my carpet were incompatible. His recomenatiiom was for us to buy a new carpet. Needless to aay, I won't use them again. read more

Annette is the GOAT!! I've played with my Dyson air wrap, and the diffuser is great for wearing my hair curly, but my 3C Curls wouldn't hold onto a blowout - at least not the way I was working. I made an appointment to come into the Dyson demo store, and to be honest, I was pretty skeptical that they'd be able to help - that the Dyson would be able to get hot enough to lock in a straighter hairstyle. But Annette came in the clutch! She experimented with a couple different techniques, and gave me a play-by-play on what **wasn't** working. The first brush (the round brush) she tried didn't work, and she explained why, and then pulled out another brush that was just magic on my hair. I love that she was willing to take the time in experiment to find what really worked for my hair. She taught me to do a section of my hair, and now it is a loose beachy blowout just like I wanted. I like now having options about whether to wear my hair curly or straight. Also love that the tutorial was free, that was a great value. So excited to go home and use my Dyson now!! read more

F*** Dyson, seriously. I've spent over $1k on this awful purifier humidifier, that has only left me mold and a rancid smell in my home. They offer no repair centers locally or any in-home repair, in LOS ANGELES. I was told to bring the machine and ship it back myself. I can't even lift this machine, as I told them, I'm not physically able due to a medical condition. They could seriously not care less. Their solution was to have me purchase a new one for 20% off. Are you kidding?! I just bought a brand new filter this week, for $90 and it already says I need a new one. I've cleaned it with the powders they have, I've scrubbed it, I've tried everything. Nothing works on this ridiculously overpriced machine. This is totally unacceptable and I'll never purchase something from them again. read more

Harry is a lifesaver! Dyson hair care is the gold standard of the market in my opinion and I live, sleep, and eat by my Airwrap. Obviously, slightly over exaggerating my Airwrap obsession but I will say I have owned the Airwrap for years since the og and I still think about how wonderful it is for my hair routine almost daily. That's value. Unfortunately, my Airwrap started smoking at the very end of the warranty period, just in time for Dyson to substitute my old Airwrap for a brand-new one. It was a bit of a headache to go without my Airwrap for a week (you have to send it back in the mail and then the new one arrives next day), but the process was relatively seamless. However, little roadblocks kept occurring (they no longer made my color of Airwrap so the new one no longer matched all my official accessories), and then two week in, the new Airwrap suddenly died mid-use. I was beyond bummed out. I couldn't imagine dealing with wet hair for another week and going through the whole process again, and after trying to air dry my hair for the second day straight, I called Dyson at Century City, phone in hand, hair still soaking wet. Harry picked up, heard my long-enduring dilemma, tried to help me troubleshoot the suddenly dead Airwrap, and then comfortingly told me to come on by literally that same evening and he'd help me exchange it out. Thank you so much Harry!! Saved my business formal look and my hair routine in one fell swoop, that's fantastic customer service and I appreciate Harry's tact and great customer service. He and his team of lovely ladies (I recall their names began with H and A) helped me sort the issue out in the least painful method ever. So happy with my Dyson experience once again, and now seriously contemplating coming back for their new hair products... :) read more

After a NEARLY TWO YEAR wait for Dyson online to restock the Digital Motorbar cleaner head for my V15 Detect (I have just been using the Fluffy Optic cleaner head on my carpeted rooms, which doesn't do a very good job), I walked into Dyson in the Westfield Mall to inquire what could possibly be the explanation for this. I was informed that the store does not stock spare parts, but Stephen was willing to listen to my frustration, as I was beginning to believe they might never supply a Motorbar head for my DY$ON V15, leaving it to be a shadow of the expensive, do-it-all vacuum I purchased a couple of years ago. Stephen then confirmed that the V15 Digital Motorbar was still "Out of Stock", and then let me know that there was another model of Motorbar that would be compatible, it only lacked the carpet height adjustment. I was relieved, then incredulous, noting to Stephen that, never in the two years I have continually checked the Dyson parts website did they EVER mention other compatible heads that WERE in stock. The happiest ending to this story? As I thanked Stephen and prepared to go home and order said Motorbar, still shaking my head over the terrible customer service issue with getting parts for this expensive vacuum, he tells me he will quickly place the order for me. He asked me to enter my name and shipping address, and as I waited to tap my card, he hands me a receipt for $0.00. Thank you Stephen..... you have restored my faith in Dyson customer service. read more
